It's funny, but also kinda... meh. Would've been OK if Carl just knew the strats, but asking for help. And he picked the challenge. Idk. The whole thing wasn't serious so it's no big deal. Just kinda harmed my enjoyment.
@@Marksmaan dude you can look that up faster than the guy in the phone told it. But also, look at the Cardmakret deck.. It was definitely more focused and built around the 2v2

Honestly, that's why I nudged my playgroup to play faster. Plan your turn BEFORE it's your turn. If things change, tough luck, but you will still play much faster There's also an app called Commander Clock - have people time their turns like in chess - they will speed up their turns on their own, when they realize they take longer than the other players - trust me - I've been organizing playgroups for 15+ years - often people don't realize they're stopping the flow of the game, or that they even take long Another thing I love doing is if you have an even number of players in your group, just make two-headed giant teams, so 2 people always share when they have their turn. Literally doubles the playspeed, so 6 ppl feels like the game speed of 3 people. This is a HUGE time saver - 6+ players is almost unplayable in EDH, and I always HATED telling people "Na, sorry - we're already too many people" - this way, it doesn't feel like that many people If I have an uneven number of players I like doing some version of a Penta, so everyone only has to kill a few people to win. It's not perfect, but it makes it a little faster, and gives people a clear enemy, which also saves them a lot of thinking on assessment. Also ofc it helps balance 3-player games.
i've been absolutely pumped for this ever since the community poll! the attempts at trash talk, the 2HG format, the seth being zoomed in, this is literally perfect.
LOL the whole concept was super fun but the Shandalar surprise challenge was the best. I loved how Seth was pleasantly surprised by the game and the speedrun strat from Frank was top notch. I have Shandalar installed on my PC and I'm absolutely stealing that method for a playthrough!
Alright everyone, Shandalar time. Today we're going to play a turn 2 Serra Angel. Of course for that we need a Black Lotus, one of the strongest cards in ALL of magic. We also have a few wraths to clear the board, some swords, and some Savannah Lions to hold down the early game. We also run two Disenchants to deal with non-creature plans, in the main board since of course we don't have a sideboard, and that's about it, let's get into the games.
Really fun video, loved the added shandalar playthrough since I feel it's not really well known despite actually being a really fun way to play old magic. Frank was the real winner there though since he just casually gave Carl what I believe is still the wr speedrun strat.
Okay that was a lot of fun. Can't lie, I'm not a commander player or a two-headed dragon player, but you guys made something hilarious out of it, enjoyed every second, down to the cheesy playground insults. Thanks guys!
These uploads make my Thursdays! Cheers lads! I’m sure it will be quite the interesting battle. I especially can’t wait to see if everyone constructed decks to compliment each other or just went lone wolf.
This is probably my new favorite MTG video! You guys put so much effort into this and combined both of my favorite MTG channels to create something AMAZING!
I love the content of both crews, put them together in one room and you get a master piece! I enjoyed everything, from the trashtalk to the goofiness of the mini games and the gameplay itself. I'm looking forward to the other videos you guys recorded together. Keep it up, Grüße :)
I've spent years thinking I'm the only person in the world who plays Chainer, Dementia Master in anything. So happy to see my favorite guy out in the wild 🎉
The thumbnail alone is already perfect, the video is just a bonus. Keep up the great work, guys, yours is one of the best MTG content around, hands down
It seems like an awesome card, fun art, cool ability. If it hadn't had such a big warping effect on formats it would be beloved in casual play for sure.
At this point I feel that Seth is trapped by an unbreakable spell to never live that room. I can't think of a single video I have seen him out of that room even though I know he goes to con and stuff
looooved the shandalar tech! only thing i think this video was missing was the somehow against-the-odds comeback mtggoldfish always does at the end of each video. hahahaha
Good stuff. I remember seeing that old Shandalar game at my cousin's place, late 90s. I think there was some sort of a bug where you could win by mana burning yourself.
Yesss 🙌 MORE two headed giant!!!!!! This was my favorite video you’ve done! I love pretty much love every video you guys do but this was cream of the crop.

I love how Seth was just having fun playing Shandalar while Carl was doing broken speed run strats
Sums up the 2 channels. Jk love both yall
Rumor has it Seth is still playing Shandalar to this day.
It's funny, but also kinda... meh. Would've been OK if Carl just knew the strats, but asking for help. And he picked the challenge. Idk. The whole thing wasn't serious so it's no big deal. Just kinda harmed my enjoyment.
Shandalar is fantastic, strongly recommend giving it a go if you haven't played it before. It's pretty easy to find for free since it's abandonware.

Seth as a Fallout-esque AI robot is what really ties up this Thumbnail.
Tru dat
It also suits saffron's character. I totally expect him to play Mr. house in Fallout Commander
Does he ever leave his house??

"it's finally my turn, I've waited an hour for this."
No truer words said during a Commander game
Ygo players be like
Me, a mono red burn deck against 3 Simic landfall decks

Blind shot for a colossal dreadmaw was pretty hilarious. 8:36
10/10 crossover. Exactly the goofy cringy competitive content I came here for.
my favorite part of this was Seth not knowing how to speedrun Shandalar and just having fun instead
i've been absolutely pumped for this ever since the community poll! the attempts at trash talk, the 2HG format, the seth being zoomed in, this is literally perfect.
22:43 was peak humor "Oh yeah, it was Onmath, of course!" And the "it was Narset" almost killed me
You guys have some of the most creative MTG content on youtube. Much love from the US
That's very kind of you to say! Thank you so much :)
A bigger crossover than Endgame
Tomer immediately apologizing was perfect
I really hope that this is another episode of brewer’s kitchen by Phil
We recorded a bunch of other content with them :) Including some stuff where Phil goes "Mad Genius" on us a little 😅

the challenges seemed silly at first but Carl busting out the Shandalar Shivan Speedrun strats was top notch work
Seth should play some more Shandalar on the MtgGoldfish main channel. He really had a good time with the game.

I did NOT expect Shandalar in the middle of this game! That's awesome
Really fun video, loved the added shandalar playthrough since I feel it's not really well known despite actually being a really fun way to play old magic. Frank was the real winner there though since he just casually gave Carl what I believe is still the wr speedrun strat.
That was the most synergistic turn 1 I've ever seen a two headed giant team ever pull off
Okay that was a lot of fun. Can't lie, I'm not a commander player or a two-headed dragon player, but you guys made something hilarious out of it, enjoyed every second, down to the cheesy playground insults.
Thanks guys!
This is exactly the content the whole Internet was created for! Congratulations guys! Also kudos to Carl (and Frank) for beating Shandalar!
Thank you! :)
Having Frank come up with basically a speedrun through the game, cut a lot of time out of the shandalar footage. Smart idea.
I'm glad they wheeled Seth back out later so he could finally stop playing Shandalar XD
@@2LettersSho hahahahahahaha!
Seth is an AI confirmed. Maybe his mispronunciations are due to Google Translate.
I can’t believe they missed Seth making the bugle rat sound!
The Shandalar portion was super funny. "Shandalar is protected for -6 years" Job well done, clearly!!
Seth was doing his best Robert Edwin House impersonation in preparation for the Fallout Commander decks.
This is triple A content. Cardmarket, you’ve really stepped up your game since these three are doing all the UA-cam stuff. Don’t ever stop this! ❤
Cardmarket had no chill this day, they came to win. Amazing video.
Wow, yeah. I've never seen them so competitive 😂

Would 100% watch a Shandalar playthrough video/series exploring different decks.
This was absolutely incredible. Amazing watch 12/10. Loved every Second of this match.
This whole thing was such a joy to watch. Much love from an American in Sweden!
My 2 favorite MTG Channels in a single video? MAJESTIC. MAJESTIC!
I really like the content Cardmarket makes.
You guys have a wonderful attitude, and I really liked the intro.
Thanks for all the fun content!
Cardmarket only ever puts out bangers as usual! I love the miniganes you do in goofy matches, they always seem really fun!
This was just absolutely brilliant, thank you for brightening up my day.
I was hoping to actually see Seth out and about. I'm now convinced that Seth is an AI that mtggoldfish trained to play and act like a human
Watching this live was super fun. Keep up the great videos! :)
I’m so happy that we have these two MTG channels!
Anmazing stuff lads. What a delight.
Did he say "Oakish Boar Master"? That's dope. I prefer that. I want that card. 22:21

this format kicks ass, I want more!
This was so much fun!!! Every bit of it! Amazing video you guys
This needs to be an entire arc. Next we have the Asian Avenger coming to avenge his fallen allies.
Here’s to hoping @TheAsianAvenger is along (and wins!) 😊
Frank Knowing the speedrun strats, telling carl then just saying "good luck" was unbelievably hype
My favorite moment was when Cardmarket spelled their own name incorrectly😂
Definetly one of the best mtg related content episode out there amazingly entertaining

Carl (in the distance): “ooooooooohhhhh!!”
"You have protected the plane of Shandalar for the next -6 years." Sounds about right.
Hahaha, that was wonderful~! Much wackier than I could have ever expected, great job everyone!

I like that cardmarket is giving smaller channels a platform to present themselves... like cadrmarket ( 1:13 )
This whole video is like a fevered dream lol. I love it.
Cool concept, I would just love to see more of the decks!
4 minutes in and I'm worried how time flies. Such a flowy and funny intro, so stylish trash talk ❤
Now I just want someone to make another Shandalar-style game.

I love seeing my two favorite magic channels in one video
This had everything, trash talk, gaming, but most importantly, it had ya boi, colossal dreadmaw!!!!
This was so silly and fun throughout! Loved every moment of it. Congrats guys!
Thanks :)
My insult would have been "My opponents' names are Phil, Tomer, and Seth, but all three are pronounced as free win".
Super fun video so far but im super confused why team cardmarket got things like Bonecrusher Giant into play but team Goldfish had to play their Oko.
Everything Goldfish guessed (Eternal Witness and Teferi, Time Raveler) appeared on their side of the board as well
Super fun, as expected of this channel! I loved the card charades, partly because I would have guessed Colossal Dreadmaw right away too.
One of us!
I hope Richard will be on sometime as well!

Best UA-cam content on the planet! Also shoutout to the guy walking past you with a coffee cup at the end wondering wtf is going on.
10/10. Trash talk for next time:
"You're about to Scoop all your cards."
Tomer is so incredibly sassy, love him
I love that Seth Image projected onto a greensceen the whole time.
Best part of the intro was Seth on the tablet!
I nearly died
Would have been perfect to let him say a taunt as well, from the screen. Still fun though.
probably would have required extensive audio setup@@pinobluevogel6458
Cardmarket always finding a way to raise the bar
Now THIS is quality content. Well done!
"That's Oko!" really got me. It suuuure is!
