I'm 25 and I recently just found the passion for singing. I recorded my voice while singing and I thought I'm singing well. Oh boy, I couldn't be more wrong. I think hiring a voice coach will be beneficial but I don't want to spend much on a hobby. I'm gonna start this and hopefully I get better.

@@ayodejikolawole8048 I'm on day 12 (technically I skipped day 11since i didnt do any exercises yesterday). I can say that my voice has improved, and by that I mean the control that I have over my voice. It's surely just the beginning but yeah I can say this exercise does you good and I recommend to keep doing it daily! I'll be here every day so let me know how it goes for you :) I thought for myself to do a 3 month challenge to do a little singing practice every day. So Ill try to keep at it aswell!

Even 8 years later this still works! I've been only doing it for 2 days straight, so I'm not close to the 3 month mark, but I've seen some improvement.
The funny thing is I did this practice for one day and now when I sing it doesn’t sound perfect but I noticed an improvement I can hit a note that I couldn’t hit before. So Thank you for whoever made this video. It really helped. I have a worship service next week that I’m practicing for and I’m definitely gonna use this method to help me.

It's amazing how I was able to find my voice and literally learn how to sing like literal Adele or Pink in a matter of like 3 years, all just from obtaining good hearing aids with a bass setting to improve the sound quality and listening to UA-cam videos and learning different random tips to improve. What's even crazier is that I'll do said tips and all of a sudden start singing a song I was struggling with literally 5 minutes prior. It's like magic. Lol. Amazing what you can do with your voice once you've finally broken free of being tone deaf for almost 40 years.
Short story long, lol, I'm currently 40 (September) and I discovered I was starting to sing a tad on key at the end of 2020 when I got one hearing aid (Covid plexiglass and being both hard of hearing and profoundly deaf, half profoundly deaf, made me wanna cry in 2020 when things started slowly opening up in my state since I already could only hear like 40% of what people were saying...think of Charlie Brown's teacher...I was Charlie Brown lol). Then, I ended up getting a second hearing aid in 2021. Continued practicing at home with much frustration. Fast-forward to 2023 and i happen to go in to see the audiologist for routine maintenance check and she's like "oh, by the way, there's this new feature that's an app on your phone where you can increase the volume" and that's when i discovered the wonders of what is called a bass setting to which I could increase the sound quality. Well, now it's early 2024 and I now can sing stuff from Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and many more. I can even sing SOME Broadway. Let's put it this way, I'm mezzo-soprano according to my own research a little while back. You know, if you can sing Billie Eilish, you can say with confidence you are mezzo-soprano. She is a true mezzo-soprano apparently. And, apparently, most singers are just that, mezzo-soprano. I have a best friend who is straight up Soprano. But, she can sing literal opera music and went to school for a music/teaching degree.
All that to say it's amazing what you can learn from UA-cam, especially if you are a natural when it comes to music overall. 👌👌

For people actually wondering I’ve been doing it for 3 months straight and I will say it really did help me a lot. Don’t expect your singing tone or sound to magically change over night. What I notice is that it has helped my voice crack less and make my voice feel smoother to singing. I came back after 3 months to write so if you are looking for a vocal warmup to add to your warm up I recommend this.

@@michellecampa9850 Per day I would say I did warm ups for 10 minutes before I practice singing. I normally spend a good 1-2 hours just practicing singing. Basically just recording myself and analyzing what I’m struggling with and what I want to change. This is for everyday constant but with like maybe 1-3 days I skip for reasons.

Oh wow! This actually works! I was sing Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez and there was like some parts of mu mouth, jaw, and throat that was a bit straining. After I did the "Zzzz" exercise, it woke up my vocal chords! Thank you so much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!
