Finneas probably says that to billie, and frankie to ariana. It's called siblings. It's pretty much the silly relationship 😜😂 (my sis says that to me, but i know i can sing, atleast a lil)
I've decided to learn singing for therapeutic reasons. Vibration during singing helps to tone vagus nerve and instead of doing vagus nerve toning exercises I want to learn singing.
My goals are to be able to sing with no tension, sing higher and louder, and sing smoothly without cracking/flipping in between chest voice into head voice. Also pitch 😅
"Just because you cracked doesn't mean you're not still in it" she says, immediately after I crack haha. This was really informative as a long time musician who never got any formal vocal training. I don't think I can afford a lesson atm, but at least now I have hope that I'm not completely a lost cause 💜 No issue matching pitch, pretty decent untrained range (better than I realized at least)
I’ll share here cause I haven’t told my friends and family much but I really want to become a singer/songwriter! I have a book full of songs I’ve written and I want to sing them better
Thank you!! I just tried this. It's been about twenty-five years since I sang-I developed anxiety and panic disorder and couldn't be onstage, let alone even open my mouth, and over the years, I've just developed a fear of hearing myself and judging it, some sort of deep embarrassment or something. I'm working with a therapist now and had the idea to try working my way back to it online. This lesson helped because it was easy, compassionate (it's okay if this happens), and helpful-it actually made me see that I have more range than I thought, I was on pitch, and didn't waver until the final two or three scales. So I feel like it will be easier for me to open my mouth and let sound out for the next lesson and I have a bit of confidence that I'm not terrible! The intense feeling of vulnerability, even while I'm alone, is...wow. I have a lot of work ahead of me.
I've had similar feelings about speaking and singing since I was about 14... I really appreciate you sharing this and I hope that you gradually overcome this fear. I'm sure that others don't hear what you hear in yourself at all, they probably just hear a normal voice like any other and aren't judging it in the intense way that you feel. Sometimes when I've known I have to talk in a group, I'd sing in private before hand and it felt like it helped build confidence and "let out" my voice before having to let it out in front of other people. I've also tried yoga and meditation for the throat chakra, I think it helped but I never did it regularly. Probably only useful in combination with therapy to deal with the underlying fears and feelings. I really wish you the best with this, you deserve to be heard ❤
I'm getting into theatre and now a few plays I'm going have songs on it, and honestly I'm really scared because i never sung before and now i have to hahaha but i'll not give up, please root for me!!
My voice as a singer. As a solo children's singer: Low pitched a la Mr Rogers If I was to sing with my female singer as a children's duo, my voice would be a bit higher a la Donny Becker or Greg Scelsa However for my smooth jazz songs where I get to step up on the mic (sing the lead vocals myself), I would use my higher voice a la Bobby Caldwell. My low voice sounds like normal talking. When I go above A3, it gets nasalier, lighter, and airy. This is so that I refrain from shout singing when above A3. My fullest chest voice: A3-D4 but voice starts to flip at A3 to lighter tone. E4 and upward, my chest stops vibrating. What voice type would that mean? When I asked Brave's AI feature, it said I was a light baritone (low voice=talking, A3-D4 full chest voice but flips to lighter tone above A3). My head voice is usually D4-A4.

So glad I found your chanel! I always enjoyed singing, but I always thought I simply don't sound right, and that is okay. I just sing while doing chores and while I play with my toddler, anyway. So just for fun. Having always thought my voice doesn't sound right, and then one day my husband telling me that he enjoys hearing me sing was a surprise! He made it clear to me that if I sing along I can definitely sing, buy when I sing without "a guide to follow" I can't find the right notes. He encourages me to sing more, and that makes my heart so happy! Now we sing and dance while we cook together.
That’s so heartwarming! It’s amazing how much encouragement can change your perspective. Singing for fun with your toddler and husband sounds like such a joyful experience. Your voice is your own, and the more you sing, the more comfortable you'll feel finding those notes on your own. Keep enjoying those moments-they’re the best kind of practice!
I found your vocal lesson for beginners and I am interested to learn from you. I sing by myself whenever I like a song because I have my microphone karaoke. It helps me a lot to reach a higher note. However, I am still not confident to sing in a big crowd. By following your voice lesson I believe can help me reach my goal. I can't afford a private tutor so I just rely on free vocal lesson .
Just want to sing like used to when i was 12 because that is where i stopped and my prime was. Now I am more a fraction of what i could sing back then with me singing after 6 years now
That's great that you're part of the praise team! Wanting to improve your singing is a fantastic goal. Start by focusing on proper breathing techniques and vocal warm-ups-they're essential for building strength and control. It might also help to work with a vocal coach who can guide you in using your voice confidently and safely. The key is to practice consistently and find your unique sound while protecting your voice. Keep at it, and you’ll feel more comfortable letting go as you grow!
To sing your favorite songs perfectly, focus on breath support, practice regularly, and break down each song’s melody and emotion. Record yourself to spot areas for improvement, and with time, you’ll get closer to perfection!
I have a low voice. Typically sing Alto but can sing higher if I soften my voice. Where I have my problem is the high notes in certain songs. My voice is cracking and I am trying to find the song at a lower key so I can sing along. Plus, breath control.
First video I found of this channel when searching for UA-cam vocal lessons (just as a place to start since I can't afford a private tutor at the moment). I took a choir class for about a year in middle school, we did classic choir music along with our own medleys of fun Disney songs with dance numbers, it was a blast (despite the choir teacher getting super impatient & mad at us for not getting it perfect). I was assessed by her & told I was a mid alto, at the time I was 15 years old & never smoked a day in my life. Not even a year later I sadly got into a bad crowd & started smoking due to peer pressure, this ruined my voice (I was never addicted to smoking, only did it socially due to pressure from others). I was devastated at how my voice sounded from the damage it caused. Then in college I took public speaking + acting classes to help with my stage fright + confidence in front of people. We didn't do musicals, but this lit the fire in me & inspired me to want to try. Now I'm almost 30 years old & wanna start singing again, I'm super off pitch naturally but I feel like I can match others as we sing but as soon as I'm the only one left my pitch + tone go out the window & I sound like I've been run over by a dumpster truck lol Anyways, thanks for this video! Will be binging more as I try to get my voice back again. Thanks for reading to anyone who read my long comment.. 🙏🏼
I can solfege some notes, and tried to play acoustic guitar, achieved to play some easy chords but without rhythm, then I gave up several years ago, and now I am seeing this amazing video.
To improve your pitch, practice scales and intervals regularly to train your ear and voice. Focus on singing with accurate pitch and use a piano or tuning app to check yourself. With consistent practice, your pitch will improve!
Hello! I've been in a choir for quite a long time, and have been singing a lot. However, I feel like there's always something in my voice that's always holding me back.
Hello how are you I hope you are doing good I'm just starting following up in this platform and and I admire so much I want to have good voice to sing I will be following up all what you'll be teaching

Asking people who their favorite singer is helps understand how they’re trying to sound. Unconsciously they’re trying to sing like that favorite voice. We mimic because we like it. 😊
I had taken a a choir class and I learned how to clap with beats and dance and singing basic songs and a couple singing warmups and I also play the guitar and I am the first in my family to pickup an instrument and trying to sing professionally

With dedication, you’ll keep discovering more about your voice and improving every day. Let the journey inspire you, and have fun with every note you sing!
Thank you for these lessons, I love to sing and can sing mid range songs as an Alto, but need help to harmonize (big time), and better and stronger vocals for sure. My goal is to be better so I can sing stronger songs like "I Have Nothing" etc.
Need some help here... I started singing when i was 12yo, i did not have any lessons taken but later i realised am singing completely from my throat, but i just didnt know how to sing properly since i did not have internet access during that time... I was able to reach note E with great difficulty but as i saw other singers in television or radio slaying those high notes an octave above what my highest note was, i had my goals clear... after singing all these years now i can reach note A with ease and iv learnt evry other techniques methods to boost up my singing...iv done many live gigs, band performances, album songs and have a lot of fans for my voice locally...my voice doesnt sound lyk its sung from throat but the only problem is the look of tension in my neck after i sing anything tht is higher thn the note F(i dont feel any tension mayb because iv been singing lyk from the beginning) i have a good breath support(i can belt in G for 18 seconds).... After all these years my only problem is the appearance of my neck when im singing high notes when someones nearby...after i got access to internet i searched everywhere about the problem but i just couldnt get any help....i am 22 now
Sounds like you’ve come a long way with your singing! It's awesome that you’ve built so much skill and performed so much. That neck tension could be a sign of using extra muscles that aren't necessary when hitting higher notes. Even though it doesn’t feel tense. Keep going-you’ve got so much talent, and this sounds like just a small tweak to unlock even more potential!
Mr. Magla, I don't understand English from Myanmar, but I don't understand English from Myanmar, but I will learn to understand your videos as much as possible.
Hello. I been singing when I was 4. Nobody I know took me to get my singing lessons. So I been teaching myself how to. I started getting better better to be honest. But what’s kills me is. I keep losing air when I sing. Not sure what I’m doing. And I also need to work on my high notes and low notes. ( sorry if this not the best explanation. Not very good at giving one) but this day 1 watching your videos and I hope this can help me out lol, thank you❤
I want to control my belting voice and b able to sing softer. I also want to FIND MY voice and start singing online..... To b a motivational singer instead of speaker❤
I want to become Ipop idol so I m here on your channel Issues that I face in singing are 1. My voice is not sweet 2. While dancing I face losts of problem 3. No one believe me except mee... Can you make me a better singer ✨🎀
Keep believing in yourself-it’s the first step to improvement! For a sweeter voice, focus on breath control and vocal exercises. For dancing, practice slowly to build coordination, and then add vocal exercises while moving. With dedication and patience, you can definitely become a better singer. Keep going!
Haha, that happens to the best of us! Breathing is such an easy thing to forget when you're focused on singing. Try practicing some breath control exercises, like deep belly breathing or timing your breaths between phrases. It’ll help you build the habit, and you’ll feel more in control during those longer lines. Keep at it-you’ll get there!
That’s awesome! Learning to harmonize and hit different notes will definitely add more flavor to your music. Start by practicing scales and ear training exercises to improve your pitch accuracy. Also, listening to songs with great harmonies and trying to sing along with the different parts can help a lot. Keep experimenting, and it’ll take your songs to the next level!
That's awesome! Singing is such a great way to express yourself and connect with what you love. If you're looking to improve, start with the basics-focus on breathing exercises and vocal warm-ups to strengthen your voice. Singing along with songs you enjoy can also help you build confidence and improve your technique. Most importantly, keep enjoying the process, and your passion will come through in your singing!
I am in my senior year of high school and close to graduating, by march I will have to decide if I think I am fit to apply for musical theatre. I have a lower than average voice and it cracks, shifts from head to chest, and I really want to learn how to belt. I really hope this works and please give any tips that might help me ♥️
For musical theatre, focus on smoothing transitions between head and chest voice. Practice scales slowly to build control and work on diaphragmatic breathing for power. To learn belting, start with a strong mix voice and ease into it-don’t push. Keep at it, and good luck with your decision!
My vocal is issue is, I have average singing skills. And i tend to strain when attempting high notes i can't sing high notes. I also don't know how to control my breathing. I sing breathlessly. My goal is to be able to hit high notes without loosing my breath
Practice, practice, practice. You will need to practice to avoid all of these issues. Keep us updated on your journey. These are all common and fixable issues. Best of luck!
Hello! Thank you for this lesson. The issue when I sing is, I feel strain in my throat after singing for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. It feels like I hold my throat when I'm singing to control my intonation better. Can you suggest tips to get over this issue? Thank you :)
That's awesome! Retraining your voice can be such a rewarding journey. Starting from scratch allows you to build a strong foundation and rediscover your passion for singing. Enjoy the process, and have fun getting back into it! You've got this!
it’s best to start slowly and avoid overworking your voice. Aim for about 10-15 minutes of focused practice once a day. This allows you to build strength and develop good habits without straining your vocal cords. As your voice gets more comfortable with the exercises, you can gradually increase the duration or add more challenging techniques. Always listen to your voice-if you feel tired or strained, it's a good idea to take a break and rest.
Whenever I listen to a song, I aspire to sing it beautifully, but I often find myself sounding awkward. That's why I'm here, hoping to improve.🙂 Pls reply for guidance
That’s a wonderful goal! Staying in tune comes with practice and listening closely to each note. Try singing along to simple scales or songs and focus on matching the pitch as closely as you can. Recording yourself can help you hear where you might drift off. For choir, blending with others is key, so practice softening your voice to match the group’s tone. Over time, you’ll develop a good ear for staying in tune and harmonizing with others!
Hi I have recently started singing at church backing the choir, I am comfortable with alto but they said sometimes I back with soprano. What can I do to improve that part? Please assist.
Your prayer is powerful, and your desire to sing is a beautiful thing. Start small: practice singing softly in a room alone, focusing on breath control and staying relaxed. Use simple exercises like humming or singing along with songs you love. Over time, your voice will grow stronger, and your confidence will build. Remember, singing isn’t about perfection-it’s about expressing your heart. You can do this, step by step. Don’t give up!
Finding your voice type is an exciting journey! Start by experimenting with your range-see where you're most comfortable singing and how high or low you can go without strain. Mezzo-sopranos, tenors, and altos each have distinct ranges, but your voice will naturally settle into one as you practice more. Don’t stress too much about the labels, though-just focus on discovering your unique sound and enjoy the process!
I just want to be able to sing without everyone around me looking disappointed.
We understand it can be nerve wracking singing around other people. Practice is always key!!

I've never had any singing lessons, but now I've been diagnose with lung disease, I want to learn to sing, and will try my best
How is it going?

Not very good at giving one) but this day 1 watching your videos and I hope this can help me out lol, thank you❤
We definitely suggest watching some videos on breathwork, and posture!

I want to control my belting voice and b able to sing softer. I also want to FIND MY voice and start singing online..... To b a motivational singer instead of speaker❤
Our site can definitely help with this!
I want to become Ipop idol so I m here on your channel
Issues that I face in singing are
1. My voice is not sweet
2. While dancing I face losts of problem
Keep going!
My biggest issue when singing is forgetting to breathe lol. So I’ll always run out of breath before a line is over! Lol
Wooow I love this, you re a great teacher
Thank you so much!
I just wanna sing without my cat looking at me with discust.
We got you.
My school does musicals and I really want to join theatre when i grow up I just want more confidence in my singing.
Don't let anything stop you!
I’m a artist and I wanna learn how to harmonize and hit some notes just to spice up my songs
I just want to know how to sing. I love singing as its the best way to worship my Lord God Almighty.
Excellent video and very helpful!
Awesome!
Thankyou so much❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
I would like to have a wonderful voice
Keep us updated on your journey!
Awesome happy to start
Thank you, great teacher
I want to be the best singer I can be. I also want to be able to carry a very long high and low note. ❤🎤🎼
You can do anything you set your mind to!
I also wish to learn singing but whenever I try after these lessons my voice always cracks 😢😢 I really need your help plss👋👋
Thank you
Hi Camille. I just subscribed and really got a lot out of this particular video. I put sticky notes on piano to remember the exercises you show here.
Hello! Thank you for this lesson. The issue when I sing is, I feel strain in my throat after singing for 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. It feels like I hold my throat when I'm singing to control my intonation better. Can you suggest tips to get over this issue? Thank you :)
Are you making sure to warm up your voice properly?
used to sing about 20 years ago. so I'm here just to retrain my voice :) always better to start from scratch
That's awesome! Retraining your voice can be such a rewarding journey. Starting from scratch allows you to build a strong foundation and rediscover your passion for singing. Enjoy the process, and have fun getting back into it! You've got this!
How often should I do this exercise?
it’s best to start slowly and avoid overworking your voice.
I have 3 lesson at my school core at lunch time. I whant to be a singer so I think I need lessons every day so I will sing beautiful

Whenever I listen to a song, I aspire to sing it beautifully, but I often find myself sounding awkward. That's why I'm here, hoping to improve.🙂

i went all the way up no struggle yea😮
I would like to sing along and stay in tune. Also sing in the church choir.
Just subscribed I love your video I'm a huge fan❤😊
Thank you for subscribing!
Hi I have recently started singing at church backing the choir, I am comfortable with alto but they said sometimes I back with soprano. What can I do to improve that part? Please assist.
People say I have a lovely voice, but I can't carry a tune in a bucket. I want to be able to sing while carrying a tune and master my pitch.
Me too
Hi camille, this is very helpful!!! thank you!
Awesome!
My prayer is that one day I can be able to stand and sing without hiding my voice
Please help me because I really want to know how to sing 😢😢
Your prayer is powerful, and your desire to sing is a beautiful thing. Start small: practice singing softly in a room alone, focusing on breath control and staying relaxed. Use simple exercises like humming or singing along with songs you love. Over time, your voice will grow stronger, and your confidence will build. Remember, singing isn’t about perfection-it’s about expressing your heart. You can do this, step by step. Don’t give up!
Thanks dear I love it..
Thank you!
I want to be able to find my voice I don’t know if I’m a mezzo soprano or tenor or alto
Thanks so much am greatiful 🙏
I didn't play instruments but sang well in choir.
Thank u for this lesson
