- In today's video I go fishing in the abandoned pond to catch a POND MONSTER to bring back to put in my NEW 7200 gl predatory fish pond! We set fish traps and used a rod baited with live bait and ended up catching a big bass, oscars, and after hours of waiting we ended up catching a MONSTER redtail catfish out of a mud pond which was perfect to bring back as my new pet! We also transported 2 arowanas from my koi pond into their new home!

Could I send you a rainbow trout from Oregon if I get the chance, they eat bugs and can be trained on things like dog food which is good for them as food. You can pretty much only find them on the west coast

Very cool content. Would like to see a video decorating/improving the ponds. Adding more structure to give the fish more hiding spots to swim into. I think that would make it nicer for the fish and look better.

Try using Meow Mix for bait in your traps, Meow Mix puts out an oil slick and the fish will follow the slick to the source. Bread works but I think Meow Mix might just get you the Mother Load of a catch.

You should have kept the bass, if the pond is getting filled in. You could have put it in pond X or the predator pond.

You should definitely make a pond for "boring" fish like the bass, so u can also save them
I wish he could, but it's illegal to transfer the the bass and other native fish to another body of water. The one people you really don't want to mess with is the DNR/Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Fantastic looking pond and the fish are beautiful. One thing tho...if you covered the bottom of the pool with a layer of clean, white or light yellow sand it would both make the pool look much more natural plus it would help highlight the fish. It would need to be rinsed well in batches in case it had contaminants tho. Otherwise cool pool :)
You guys should get a net that can go across the width of the pond, then just pull all the fish to one end 👌
