A detail to highlight is that, in Kirby Return to Dreamland DX, when you talk many times with Magolor, he says that, in reality, his home is not Halcandra, but he has been there for a while studying the technology and ancient ruins there. Therefore, it can be confirmed that Magolor is not from Halcandra: rather, he visited Halcandra to seek information from the Master Crown. Similarly, in the Remake, it is mentioned that Magolor found out about the Master Crown from a dirty tome that he found and read. Initially, he didn't care as it seemed like something out of a fairy tale...until he found Halcandra and the Lor specifically.
3:33 False, there’s a piece of dialogue in the game from a Magolor saying he’s not from Halcandra and just travels alot 4:55 While he could be struggling to keep it “under his control”, it was revealed in a interview saying Magolor didn’t fully lose control til Kirby “killed” him with the Ultra Sword. - Besides that, very great theories
This was even proven by the True Arena Magolor Soul boss which when paused shows Magalor asking Kirby to defeat the crown so that he can go back to his trickster ways. Magolor was a trickster character like Marx throughout his life and even in death, as we see in the Epilogue Magolor does not let go of his evil ways and even seeks revenge on Kirby until he slowly gains the apple slices and sees the evil he created as the Master Crowned Tree. Magolor was in control up until his death in which we see the Dark Matter in the Crown takes form and is embodied as Magolor Soul.
Didn't _fully_ lose control implies that he at least lose _some._ It is stated in this remake well that the crown will amplify the darkness in one's heart, so even know Magolor's mind might still be present in the first phase of the battle, that still isn't the original Magolor, but someone who's mind has been deeply twisted by the crown.
@@justinwalsworth6673 what you just said are speculations at best. Where even did that _seeks revenge on Kirby_ part came from? Any mention of it in game? No? From what people can see, he's just recovering his power. As for the pause menu of True Arena Magolor Soul, he did mentioned about toying with Kirby and the crew, but we can clearly see that after the battle, he didn't turn back into Magolor, but was sealed into another dimension. Add on top of the fact that Magolor drops an apple for Kirby to recover before fully closing his eyes, I personally like to interpret it as a trickster's final goodbye. Even at the end of his life he's still hiding his true feelings from Kirby.
During the fight against the master crown, the destruction actually seems to depict what happened to egg engines. Some of the buildings are identical, which leads me to believe the master crown is responsible for the abandonment of halcandra
Cool theory, I might have to agree on that one, but I have a continuation on that one. the ancients fled to shiver star, which we know is Earth, but they got attacked by fecto elfilis, captured it, and did The Whole experimenting thing. Then they fled from shiver star, which was going into an ice age, the ice age it was in when Kirby arrived in Kirby 64. Eventually it thawed out, and fecto forgo (now split with elfilin and trying to get him back) took control of Leonbar, opened a portal to pop star (where the ancients fled to after shiver star, where they turned into the waddle dees over several centuries) and found slaves in the waddle dees, accidentally bringing back Kirby. You know what happens from there.
@@aguyontheinternetlols998 Forgotten Land seems to be in a different dimension entirely from Kirby's world, and time seems to pass faster there. Plus, Fecto Elfilis is what allowed them to leave their homeworld in the first place.
I believe the Master Crown did the exact thing to Magolor that Magolor did to Kirby, get through a portal, make Magolor get the Fruit Fragments and then steal the power of the Apple Staff for itself (that's why the color changes from blue to purple at the last minute). It's as if Magolor's Evilness is being kept in the crown and it states that it had more than one wearer who all became corrupted and sealed in the Crown...
I agree, and I think the game does, too. Here’s the entry for Crowned Doomer: “The boss of all Doomers has become a black-winged subjugator powered by the shards of the crown...and he's after Magolor's red fruit! Is this payback for making Kirby gather those ship parts?!”
3:33 no he is NOT from Halcandra at all. It's in his Dialogue in The Extra Mode if you talk to Magolor when you are almost about to fight Landia and you talk to him in the Lor Starcutter. Found this out from Meteorz's Stream. 9:27 The Master Crown has an evil being inside of it. It is a being that corrupts you thinking you're in control but in actuality no your not. The Apple was supposed to be Magolor getting back his powers plus getting new powers on the way. This made Magolor to keep going and after he left that dimension, He went from a different time that is the Dream Kingdom which is NOW CANON.
He's still streaming? Thought he quit youtube for family reasons and wasnt coming back for a while, disregarding occasional random uploads of gameplay clips and stuff
I also want to point out that the background where Magolor fights the Master Crown seems to be Egg Engines in the past. That is, before Egg Engines (or Halcandra) was left in ruins. Therefore, it can be said that an apocalyptic event destroyed the prosperous city of Halcandra and left it in ruins: only being operated by Robots or entities with AI (the Forgotten Land was only forgotten and abandoned, not destroyed)
What I'm getting from all of this is one simple thing: Living or not, the Master Crown's evil essence can construct itself a body out of anything, using the dark side of a living being to strengthen its influence, control and power.
Personally, I believe that the master crown is some sort of magical parasite. It feeds off the darkness of the wearer. Hiding its true nature until its too late. My proof? When magolor put the crown on, it seems to also transform alongside him, growing these talons that clutch his head like a fucking metroid. Also when magolor transforms in phase 2, the crown seems to wrap around his body, same with the tree at the end of the magolor epilogue. Also at the very beginning of magolors boss fight, you can clearly see the master crown move. This thing is an evil parasite hellbent on destruction on a dimensional scale. But that's just my theory.
12:33 I think it’s using the memories of its other incarnations to construct replicas of the weapons/relics that defeated them. We’ve seen this with the Clone of DMS holding the rainbow sword that originally killed it. It could’ve replicated the crown that defeated/ sealed it in a different incarnation.
Only issue with that is Void Termina itself is also something projected by the true Void inside which would mean it copied an enemy. The HAL team did answer a while ago that Dark Matter actual remembers different lives which is why the sword is in the Planet Robobot fight, it remembered details of the fight and recreated the weapon. This would also explain why void uses the Master crown as Darkmatter lived in the crown until Kirby killed it. And this would explain the reason Void actually remembers the Zero boss fight and copies his design in the true destroyer boss fight.
Speaking of sentience, if the Master Crown has remnants of Void or one of the Dark Matters trapped inside, then what’s inside the Lor Starcutter? Both are relics created by the ancients, and the PSDs say it’s self aware, but is it a being or just an advanced AI?
It’s a living entity like the Clockwork stars are. We know the ancients are the creators of the Planetary Warp Travel which was stolen from Fecto Elfilis in the Forgotten Land and created all their relics using this technology including the CW Stars. While Dark Matter resides in the Master Crown, the Lor Star-cutter was only being controlled by Magolor with his newfound powers the Crown gave him which is why it comes to Kirby’s rescue at the end of the game. I would compare it to the Warp star in term of sentience as it just lives and exists.
I still think the crown has a mind of its own and uses darkness in the wearer's heart to slowly take over like a parasite but is powerless when the wearer is pure of heart.
I think it's clear the crown has a mind if it's own i mean how You Even explan that the crown was moveing at moments where magalor summents the lor Star cutter to fight before we fight magalor
My theory goes as follows: Dark matter is not a being but a thing. It is stored on many different objects and beings by the ancients to seal it away. But this darkens the soul and that's why the master crown, zero and void termina etc go evil and try to take over popstar. But the reason they attack popstar is because the ancients fleed the forgotten land to popstar so then therefore dark matter wants revenge for being sealed away. And this then turns the user even unless their pure of heart like landia. Personally I think it makes sense
But even then I still think- Like Rings of Power from the Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings and the Battle of the Ring/The Prequel Series; It still affects them badly.
I agree dude But theres one thing i think you should know and i qoute from meteorz Eventho void termina is completely dvoid of happyness theres nothing to indicate that coulden't be happy and in his what is kirby canon video of him he seys that the basic gest is that dark Matter might be the resoult of void getting influce by negative emotion as void is not just the origin of dark Matter void termina is the origin of all matter good or bad and the japanise versión of what i think the master crown's description it said that it travel to many worlds and unverses so this kinda dibukts your theory a little
I believe that the ancients used Void Termina's power to create the master crown, and that's why we see Void Termina using a master crown during its fight. We know that Dark Matter (and by extension Zero) is one of Void's reincarnations, and Void just straight up takes a form resembling Dark Matter at multiple points. The master crown being made with Void's power could explain why Magolor resembles Dark Matter when he is using it, and why the crown corrupts the wearer.
Its crazy how much lore this game tied together, even if it wasn’t much. Compared to the average Kirby game, seeing it actually wrap up how Magolor became a shopkeeper and the game telling us directly that Magoland takes place in an alternate universe is mind boggling to me.
I think we can all agree that the Master Crown Tree is peak Kirby final boss design, not to mention the burning (presumably) Halcandra in the background. I have a very soft spot for sentient objects in my games.
small detail with the master crown, the french description reads: "He who wears the master crown gains power, but sees his soul darken. Filled with fury, it became, thanks to the red fruit, a destructive entity: a vegetal crown without a king." adding to the idea that the crown is both conscious and evil.
I think I have my own theory about the background of the master crown fight. There are no ancients as prominent characters in the franchise, now here’s the theory. What if the ancients lived on the planet in the forgotten land, left that planet, went to halcandra, and the volcano erupted on halcandra? The reason why I think this is that in the background of the master crown fight there are buildings, one of which has a planet with rings on it. In the background of some egg engines stages there is a building with a planet with rings on it. Coincidence? I THINK NOT
Dark Nebula was also Dark Matter. Why on earth was it trapped in a treasure chest of all things in Dedede’s basement? Again, one of the mysteries surrounding Dark Matter.
One thing I noticed is that highness and Magalor share the same white Robe as well as a blue and yellow aesthetic as well as the same small horns on their head so maybe Magalor and highness are descendants of the magical ancients, maybe thats how magalor is able to cast spells and have access to the tome that he found which told him about the master crown in the first place
Hyness IS one of the ancients though, he's part of the magical faction that the science faction cast away. Magalor is believable to be a descendant of the ancients though
So, I'm believe that the ancients were the ones who made the crown, specifically the magic ancients. If you recall, there were two types of ancients, tech and magic ancients; and I believe that the power they found is dark matter meaning Fecto Elfilis is a dark matter being. Similar to how dark mind is an alternate version of dark matter, I believe Fecto Elfilis is also a alternate version as the similarities between Fecto Forgo and Elfilin and Zero and Kirby (both of the same being but one small part of it is good). The ancients, after experimenting on Fecto Elfilis, discovered dark matter and used it for technology and magic to create multiple magic items such as the Star Rod, Lor, the Clockstars such as Nova and Star Dream, and the Master Crown; honestly they could have made all the other magics such as the Dark Mirror, Rainbow Sword, Heart Rod, etc. So, my idea is that the Master Crown was fused with dark matter (focusing more on the evil for power rather than good magic) and the crown went rampant; probably taking over someone and controlling that person to create the downfall of the ancient ones. In other words, the ancient ones discovered dark matter magic, they leave their planet (possibly earth) to find a land of dreams, the land on Halcandra and make it their home, they continue experimenting with magic creating power relics, but when over their heads with the master crown which in turn destroyed them all leaving only the memory of them.
The possibility of fecto elfiilis being a dark Matter being is highly unlikely becuase forgo clearly had power of His own and void termina is not just the origin of dark Matter void termina is the origin of all matter good or bad and in the japanise versión of what i think is the Master crown's description it said that it travel to many worlds and unverses and was drawn to magalor
I think the ancients discovered about the nature of Void and used their knowledge to replicate it's power into their creations. One of them being the Crown, just like Void it is influenced by the emotions of their surroundings, and it's bearer. Landia used it for good while Magolor for evil and that probably make the Master Crown enter a Dark Matter kinda state. Magolor Soul looks like 0² and even the Tree has a halo like foliage. You also have the elemental side that Dark Nebula showed to be important all those years ago: Fire, Ice and Electricity/Plasma. Either that or their based it directly on the Dark Matter, doesn't change much just makes things direct. I don't think that's the case since the Jambastians created a cult around Void Termina and not just Dark Matter. Although you can say Void is another way to say Zero.
One thing You should know is that in meteorz what is kirby canon video about dark Matter he mentions a little bit about void termina he didn't Say much as that covered in sepert video but the basic gest is that dark Matter might be the resoult of void getting influce by negative emotion and i think it's clear the crown has a mind of it's own i mean we see that before we fight magalor and when he summens the lor Starcutter to fight the crown was moveing literally moveing
My best guess for why the darkness reappearing and turning into a doomer is because of Magalor himself. He was possibly thinking of using the apple to not only get back, but to conquer like he originally planned with the crown before it brainjacked him. The shard might've fed on those negative greedy emotions just enough for the evil held withing to take control over the power
It’s confirmed that the ancient’s original home was in the forgotten land and the arena where you fight the master crown is a recreation of how the master destroyed halcandra
When you get 120 energy spheres in both the normal Adventure and the EX version, Magolor gives new dialogue lines (3 or 4 new If I not wrong). One of them is he saying that he's not from Halcandra and admitting that he lied. He doesn't say were he comes from tho
I think it's safe to assume that the Evil in the crown is Dark Matter, especially when you remember that Void Termina is generally believed to be the Source/Origin of Dark Matter. Also Nova, a wish granting machine made by the ancients, has a similar crystal heart in its core like the one that had Void Termina sealed inside it; I think the Ancients would seal Dark Matter into machines and other items and a Power Source but the one inside the Mater Crown was a prototype which is why it had the unintended corrupting effect. Also I think the Doomers are just a form of life that exists between dimensions that are attracted to and feed off the energy of Ancient Tech, that would also explain how the Haltmann Works Company in Robobot has data on them to recreate Holographic versions of them.
Also, while I'm not 100% sure on the connection yet, Magolor's final form also has large wings that resemble the ears of Fecto Forgo & Fecto Elfilis. My working theory right now is that the Crown was their first attempt to summon, seal, & control Dark Matter after Void Termina was sealed away by Galacta Knight and the other heroes. They used Fecto Fargos power to extract the Dark Matter and seal it, this backfired and caused the Dark Matter infestation from the original series but allowed then a steady supply to power their machines. The Crown worked but between Dark Matter and Fecto Forgo's anger it had the horrifying side effect of corrupting those not of pure heart.
It's my theory that the background of the Master Crown battle in Magolor Epilogue is actually Halcandra - specifically Egg Engines - before it was destroyed. The planet building on the right side of the Master Crown boss' background bears a striking resemblance to one of the buildings in the background of the Metal General fight. However, the one in the Metal General fight seems to have been cobbled together in an attempt to rebuild, before ultimately being left unfinished. On top of that, you can see the same exact building floating in the empty space of the ME hub area's background.
The thing though, is that Void Termina isn't inherently evil, meaning the crown itself also isn't inherently evil (but like Void, it is shaped by the feelings associated with it). There's one other thing to consider: Based on the lore for VS Sphere Doomer EX, the Doomer species used to have a different form and could warp time and space, possibly a reference to Fecto Elfilis. Based on the lore for VS Lor EX and Magalor, Lor is indeed sentient, though there's also the issue of the rest of the lore dump being odd. What is it's true power, and why did it "want to be stopped after stealing the crown"? Thoughts on the above, what if we were wrong all along about the source of evil, and that it wasn't sealed in the Master crown, but in the Lor starcutter itself; the Lor starcutter knew the evil couldn't be so easily vanquished, so it had to be defeated, ALONG with a suitable host for the evil after it was defeated, aka the master crown.
One thing i should tell You is that in meteorz what is kirby canon video about dark Matter he mentions a little bit about void termina he didn't Say much as that was covered in a sepert video but the basic gest is that dark Matter might be the resoult of void getting influce by negative emotion and theres evidence that the crown has a mind of it's own as not only was it moveing when magalor was on screen but the japanise versión of what i think is the Master crown's description it said that it travel to many worlds and unverses
Seeing the background during the true arena Magolor Soul fight, make me think that maybe there's another Void Termina in other dimension that got sealed inside of it by the ancients, so the Void Terminas we fought can access it since they're practically the same entity. Also, when the crown possessed the tree, it has the same kind of eye as Void Termina's five eyes during the titan and bird form. When you fight Master Crown at Magolor Epilogue, the description says that the crown is destroying one world after another, that’s extremely similar to the “world conquering traveler” Void Termina.
Wait, when does it mention destroying worlds? Last I checked, it mainly mentioned how it would corrupt previous rulers and was now not bound by a conscious being.
A possibility that I have is that the background of the master crown may be the nightmare of a galactic crisis, we don’t know what exactly was this galactic crisis (a common theory is that it was galacta knight), what if this galactic crisis was this being sealed in the master crown and hyness and the other magical ancients sealed it in the master crown.
2:25 I really like how its consistent in the kirby series that technology is sentient. The ship, the robobot armor, star dream, everything. Its all alive.
I have a theory that Margalor was looking for objects from the ancients. So maybe while looking for these relics, he will have come across some fragment of that evil and this is what led him to take the actions he took during the game, taking advantage of his desire to get the objects of the ancients and when he took the crown it is The evil began to consume him, but the objects of the ancients were not actually evil, so when he was defeated, the remaining fragments of the crown teleported Margalor to a place where he could redeem his actions by destroying what was left of that ancient evil once he succeeded. Defeating her, he decides to stop his ambition to get the objects that the ancients created and decides to help Kirby and his friends by providing them with objects and improvements, as we see in the epilogue.
I have my own theory, what if the Master Crown sensed Magolor’s soul nearby and regained the power it once did while controlling Magolor, maybe even more… thus awakening the dark heart from eternal slumber.
Void and dark matters can create anything with their memories, thats why void can create master crowns Also in the magolor soul fight says that magolor soul Is slaved by hate and obsession of prior rulers, hate and obsession are some of the things void Is made up, so this Is my theory: How the ancients create a very powerful artefact that gives you control of the entire univesre? Well they probably use a piece of the origin of all matter, void, to create such powerful relic but the priors rulers use it to evil and the crown having a piece of void absorb those bad feelings turning the crown into something similar to a dark matter I mean that explains the phrase "slave by the hate and obsession of prior rulers" and also explains the relation with void termina, It make sence because hyness said his clan was máster of the matter most dark so probably the ancients have some control over the dark matter and void or at least they use it to create artefacts
pause screens talk about the crown being filled with the hate and obsession (i believe it was) of past rulers, also the crown talks about how when it controls someone, it gives power to them as well as the evil in their heart, so, this is further backed up in Landia ex description as it tells us that not even Landia can fully overcome the urge to rule when wearing the master crown. I think the perfect host for the master crown would be someone like Kirby, someone who cannot be evil.
My theory: The Master Crown has a mind of it’s own. A very evil mind. The blue was probably because it’s powers were weakened Edit: Or the crown did have a evil entity in it and the dragon was guarding it from Magolor
Come on it's clear the crown has a mind of it's own as not only was it moveing before we fight magalor and when he summens the lor Starcutter to fight the crown was moveing literally moveing and the japanise versión of what i think is the Master crown's description it said that it travel to many worlds and unverses
I think the evil within the Master crown in the post game was Magolor’s, going off what we understand about things related to void and the ancients, they output the emotions that are inputed, so, magolor essentially turned the crown evil, and in the end, is fighting his own evil, through the master crown. As to what evil there was before he put it on, I still think it is dark matter, or any other void matters such a dream, soul or heart. I think the dark matter took control after his defeat.
In the cinematic of Magolor losing his powers, I think we see Magolor and the remnants of his evil heart being sucked into another dimension. This dimension was where the Master Crown originated and returned to. If the Master Crown can consume souls, then the only reason Magolor survived was that Kirby stopped the crown before it could completely destroy his soul. Also, if the crown empowered the evil in Magolor's heart, that would explain why 1. it is still intact as it appears to hold a fragment of the crown, and 2. why it goes after the shattered Master Crown. It would be drawn towards its power source like a moth to a flame. While Magolor was trying to restore his power, his evil heart somehow got the rampaging doomers to look for the crown pieces, inadvertently causing the doomers to use the other bosses to look for the other parts. From what we know, a mysterious force, remnants of Magolor's evil heart, went to the now-completed crown and became the crowned doomer. If true, we could assume that doomers result from darkened hearts possessing powerful ancient artifacts. The more powerful the artifact, the stronger the doomer, as we see with the crowned and grand doomer. Back to Magolor's evil heart somehow commanding the sphere doomers... Maybe his heart made them? But wait, didn't I say that doomers result from dark hearts possessing an ancient artifact? There's no way he split his heart to make this many doomers... unless he didn't use his heart. Magolor can travel between dimensions thanks to the ancient's technology, the Lor Starcutter. When he had the Master Crown, he could freely open portals and fly through space. What if Magolor's evil heart, with the power of the fragment of the Master Crown, went to other dimensions and corrupted other beings' hearts to make them loyal minions? Aka doomers. The rampaging doomers possess tiny portions of the Master Crown as their source of being. Doesn't this all feel familiar? A being of unfathomable power using their lackeys to consolidate something towards a goal? Using whatever means necessary? Doesn't this sound like Zero 2? The bosses are a front for the lackeys, and the lackeys are a front for a perceived final boss, and the true final boss is revealed? The true final bosses have one eye that never looks away from you, wings, and shoot projectiles at you. THEY BOTH EVEN HAVE HALOS. But going to other worlds for their inhabitants also reminds me of Fecto Elfilis. After the crowned doomer is defeated, the Master Crown uses the darkness in his heart to fully realize its power and become the "tree crown without a ruler." In fact, its description also calls it a destroyer. The only other destroyer we know of is Void Termina... and Galacta Knight. Galacta Knight has been referred to as a planet buster, and that's good enough for me. That's four final boss references. How many more are there? There are way too many missing pieces in my theory. I'm not even 50% certain. As the video suggests, a dark entity trapped in the crown could be the one I've been referring to as, Magolor's dark heart. If you switch them, my theory in this new context still makes sense, making it flimsy. I don't even know what the gem apple is or why the Master Crown or Magolor wants it! Please send a comment on how you feel about my theory.
OK I have some pretty convincing evidence that Maginot might have something to do with the ancients if we know that highness is an ancient one of the magical ones, and if you look at his ears when his mask comes off, and then you look at mega laws ears when he has his hood on, they’re the same, but we know that’s not actually what mega Lors ears look like, because we saw one of his ears get ripped, and it revealed his true ear, which doesn’t look like that
Couple things you could have mentioned: Landia isnt immune to the master crowns control (source: Landia EX boss description) it's seemingly just highly resistant to it. The crowned doomer IS the grand doomer (source: Crowned Doomer boss description) theres presumably only one grand doomer. The epilouge bosses were hunting down the fruit fragments for their "boss" (source: all of their boss descriptions) additionally based of the Rampaging Doomers boss description this "boss" was the Grand Doomer. (Though wether it was being influenced by the master crown into doing this is unkown) Good video overall.
I have a theory, what if Magolor is the same species as the villains from Planet Robobot (I can remember their name) since the both don’t have legs, have floating hands, pupil-less eyes. An idea I had was maybe the ancients did come from the forgotten land, and created the Lor Starcutter and the Crown, but they were so powerful that they created powerful beings to protect them, and Fecto Elfilis was one of them. Elfilis used his power to bring chaos, so the ancients left their world of the forgotten land, scattering the magical items across dimensions and left the people of that world (presumably Magolor’s species) to fend for themselves. They later made civilization in the forms of cities and improved the technology, creating the company from Planet Robobot. Elfilis later returned, and the people used his powers to travel across the worlds and took them over. But maybe Magolor worked for the company and later found magical items left by the ancients and quit to gain power and takeover worlds his own way without the use of technology. To do this, he sought the Crown to prove that the way of the ancients was superior. He found the Lor Starcutter, and left to steal the crown, but was stopped by Landia.
But Taranza and pre-wasp-transformation Sectonia were also like that, so I don't think they're the same species. I think it's just a style choice. It's still fun to theorize, though!
12:20 meteorz confired quite a few days ago that the wapons void uses are recreated from memories alone just like how dark matter clone recreated the rainbow sword
The forgotten land was home to the Mechanical faction of The Ancients. Hyness is part of the group of Magical Ancients that got banished to the far ends of the universe.
the crown is a failed attempt to seal Dark matter. void termina being a paralel incarnation of evil kirby, he has absorbed the power of darkmatter and the crown, he summons those powers just like kirby in mouseattack, theyre stored and get summoned in battle.
my personal theory is that a part of some sort of ancient form of dark matter was sealed in the crown by the ancients to try and weaken and/or use its own power against it
My personal theory of what type of evil is sealed away in the master crown is it’s another incarnation of zero. Think about it, if void can be reincarnated infinitely, perhaps a different evil manifestation of void in the form of another zero threatened the ancients in the past, only they were able to capture it this time around. It could be a possible explanation of how void termina remembers the master crown, considering one of its past incarnations was defeated by it, and it remembers. Another interesting thing of note that could confirm this ties into magolor soul’s and the tree crown’s designs. In the case of magolor, the eye is blood red, which unlike other forms of dark matter, is only seen in zero and astral birth void (which I think is incarnation of void that was on the verge of becoming another zero). It’s also curious that the “false” smiling angle face in the intro of 02’s battle has even more parallels to magolor’s design. The eye resides in his grinning mouth, and later on when the crown takes complete control and pretty much kills magolor in the true arena fight, it removes his two normal pinprick eyes and only leaves a blood red eye, which is exactly what 02 does. From an innocent grin to a single red eye. The thing however that put the nail in the coffin for me however is the tree crown’s design. It may not be obvious at first, but once you really start looking, his general design is almost identical to 02’s from a practical standpoint. They both have large organic wings, they both have a giant halo, they both have a red eye in the middle, heck, they even have the same spiked point at the bottom (only it’s a root instead of the weird cactus thing, which I think might have originally been an umbilical cord like appendage, but they had to censor it). If another zero really is sealed in the crown, I think it’s ultimate goal is to feed off of the negative energy of its wearer to become strong enough to morph its wearer into a reborn manifestation of itself (which is why it’s design looks similar to 02, which is a reborn version of zero). The reason it couldn’t do this with Landia because there was no negativity to feed on, and since it’s established that positive energy has been shown to strait up kill zero, it had no choice but to comply. As soon as a being with negativity came along however, it took its chance immediately and instantly began to consume Magolor like a parasite, literally attaching itself onto him to slowly transform him into a rebirth of zero, and finally took over for good once he was weak enough. Assuming sphere doomers are their own separate entity drawn to cosmic energy, once the crowned doomed was defeated the crown used its dark energy to latch itself to the gem apple seed, trying once again to become a reborn zero. I could just be looking too deep into all of this, but the connections are definitely there, and I don’t think this could all just be simply coincidence. Either way this is all extremely interesting, and I’m curious as to how this will be expanded on later.
my head canon is that the people that made the master crown and the lor found dark matter and infused it into the master crown knowing its downright evil
The biggest lore implication that came from RtDL Deluxe and Magalor Epilogue doesn't have anything to do with the Master Crown, but rather, it's that YOU, the player, gave $39.99 to a trickster egg, and that is CANON.
3:30 In the remake, he says that he's not actually _from_ Halcandra, but has spent a long time there. 3:53 It probably takes a while for it to actually consume him, since he's still aware enough to gloat and explain his master plot to Kirby and co. 7:08 EX mode pair of sphere doomers claims they long ago had a previous form and could warp space and time. They might even be the remains of previous Crown wielders (that last part is my speculation). 8:53 Pause screen confirms this is the same Grand Doomer from before, simply empowered by thr shards of the crown. 11:00 Phase 1 of the fight also has something to say about how the Crown works.
The gem apple is probably the evil thing. I mean now that kirby clash makes canonical sense that means that microtransactions are also canon. And we all know how evil microtransactions can be
Fun fact: It was confirmed in an interview that Magalor's robes had yellow to indicate his impending betrayal, since yellow was the color of the robes worn by Judas. Yes, *that* Judas. And the Gem Apple in the Epilogue is basically an allegory to the Fruit of Eden. That's not one, but two references to Christian mythology.
Haven't watched through the entire video yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that the crown was intended to be a container for the powers of evil criminals too dangerous to control or something and it eventually became too dangerous to handle, thus why only a pure being like Landia could be tasked guard it.
About the theory of the Master Crown and it's connection with the dark matter species, maybe even before the events of Kirby's dreamland 2 and 3 the ancients had to seal a dark matter that was way powerful than Zero and had no problem with destroying the whole universe and their idea was to seal it and give to Landia so that it would never be released. Of course no one is able to be stronger than our pink demon😊
Personally, I think that the evil that's in the Master Crown is the rage-filled soul of one of the 4 heroes who fought Void Termina in the past alongside Galacta Knight. They escaped being sealed away by the wizards of the Ancients that locked Galacta away and they started to feel nothing but hate after being betrayed by the people they helped save. Dark Matter saw this and decided to infuse the fallen hero with it's might. The crown was an item that they wore with them when they attempted to eradicate the Ancients but was stopped and sealed within his crown. That's why Galacta Knight shows up in the TRUE Arena, he's searching for their comrades only to discover what happened to the King he once fought alongside.
My theory since star allies is that tge master crown was made from void to combat and was possibly used to seal him away along side galactic knight but the crown being made from void's corrupted form made of negative emotions seaks out these emotions in its wearer and intensities them, and the reason why we see a dark matter like in magolor's mouth is because beings of dark matter are voids born from negative emotional energy
I thought about that the Master Crown took all of Magolor's darkness and corrupted itself, making Magolor feel bad for what he done. That's my suggestion
i remember that theories years ago stated that void termina is basically the force of darkness that is behind almost every kirby´s dark entities, the master crown was a thing made with a fragment of void termina´s power. it was presumed that the ancient beings are the civilization that fought with void termina alongside the heroes a long time ago and then sealed them (it was belived that galacta knight was one of the heroes that was sealed), probably the same race as hyness.
Well You see theres bit of info of void termina i don't think You know about void isn't just the origin of dark Matter void termina is the origin of all matter good or bad
@tiagocervera5661 yeah, i know, however it is known that the previous incarnation void was evil, being sealed by the 4 heroes, thats the time it had to be the origin of many of the dark entities of the series and to corrupt others. Furthermore, this would be in a more direct way, rather than just beimg the origin of all.
A theory we could juggle. As some have theorized that Dark Mind from Amazing Mirror may be an alternate dimension version of our Dark Matter. What if the ancients came across their dimensions version of zero but not having the strength to defeat sealed him in the Master Crown.
This was a very interesting Video, i wonder if any of this will be confirmed at some point? I guess we’ll see, Now, i wonder what you’ll talk about next, can’t wait.
Just seeing that magolors abilities dont change when he uses the crown, he only gets stronger and is able to summon portals, it seems unlikely for me that it in itself is evil, the main structure of the object also never changes but just gets warped. Landia was a four headed dragon that slept four eons within the mountain. It seems that only age and heads made them immune to the crowns influence. Magolor doesnt seem to be evil but rather mischeivious, so he just isnt used to the technology of the ancients. The crown by itself just seems to be corrupting, so that someone has to be influenced in order to keep it in check, or it just latches onto anything to give power. Or another theory: since we can only visit the inbetween realm with the crown or lor, maybe the crown was found here by the ancients and the lor was the tool, but the crown could have been here longer. As we see, sphere doomers just seem to form here and use objects of power to become bosses, like the sail or the gears of lor. The master crown would be the perfect catalyst to unleash the evil in between into reality
I was watching one of your Kirby videos and I thought what if the master crown made the sphere doomers to track down powerful objects for the crowns next host
Sadly i need to take down your "they're fighting in the forgotten land world" theory because Its confirmed that where magolor and The master crown are fighting is one of the cities of alcandria. But the rest is Amazing, good video!
Dark matter isnt really a character or 1 specific being but rather a species that has returned alot of the times with some examples being the original zero from dreamland 3, Zero two from kirby 64, Dark mind from the amazing mirror, Dark nebula from squeak squad who has been confirmed to be dark matter and its name in japan is dark zero. And even tho this is speculation but dark crafter from kirby and the rainbow curse is most likely also a form of dark matter. Void termina is the origin of the dark matter species aswell as the kirby species showing that kirby and dark matter are opposites of one other. So the master crown most likely has another form of dark matter sealed inside of it.
I personally think that the Master Crown is a crown created by Dark Matter or Void Termina. The only thing they do and are is pure, unadulterated evil, hate, and destruction. And the Master Crown does use its victims as puppets exactly like Dark Matter, and the gem in the middle of the crown perfectly resembles a pupil of an eyeball. Heck, when possessing Magolor, it causes an unnatural eye to form on Magolor’s body, just like what it did to Dedede. So, either the ancients integrated Dark Matter into their creations, magical or technological, or otherwise, or they were literally created by Dark Matter or Void Termina.
I mean you are right cause I’m thinking the one who is controlling the master crown and everyone else like Magolor, The Three Mage Sisters, and Hyness has to be the agents but also Dark Matter since he’s the one that controls the master crown cause it would be cool seeing in like the next Kirby Game if the agents bring back Dark Matter and maybe Kirby, Elfilin, and Magolor and all of his friends Kirby met throughout his adventures stop them before the agents let Dark Matter to use the master crown to take over Kirby’s Planet planet Popstar so that’s what I think the next Kirby Game would be about. And also maybe the next Kirby video you should talk about the other masks in the game like Susie’s weekend outfit and other masks that are in the game that you should talk about so that would be cool to see.
14:43 The reason the Master Crown has Darkmatter inside it is the same reason the treasure chest in Squek Squad had Dark Nebula. It was sealed away inside the relic. That is the reason the crown was being protected by Landia but Magolor learned of the power the crown held from an unknown source and sought out the power. Darkmatter is not a single entity as we learned in the “Heroes in Another Dimension” DLC for Star Allies. The Ancients sealed Void Termina away because it is the source of beings like Darkmatter and the True Arena Magolor Soul confirms that Darkmatter is the entity we visually see after the CROWNED cutscene.
Void Termina isn't the source of Dark Matter, or at least, not most of it. The source of most Dark Matter is Zero/Zero Two, which originate from Void, which is also what Void Termina originates from.
@@carnage0685Yes, darkmatter comes from the “Hive Leaders” because Void is born in incarnations such as Zero and Zero Two. Darkmatter is the whole species as stated by the Kirby team multiple times. Zero and Zero Two are what happens when negative emotions are formed in Void Termina like how Kirby and Gooey would be Positive emotions.
Well void Termina has a connection to nearly everything in Kirby, Kirby himself included and possibly it was Void Termina that destroyed the ancient and it's influence most likely corrupted some of the ancients artifacts king dedede got possessed by dark matter or was it zero but it is a possibility everything in Kirby seems to tie together with Void Termina in the middle
Idea:Dark matter used The crown to possess Maglor,What I am getting to,Dark matter made the crown to trick people to get Possession of them so it can Kill. Second idea:The purple aura is Dark matters Aura,It HAD Been seen in squeak squad ,in The last image before da roach got possessed, that a lot of purple aura came out(I KNOW IT WAS DARK NEBULA BUT HE IS JUST A REINCARNATION) Third idea:After maglor Finally got redeemed in the end of RTDM DX,In Kirby Super clash,He Used The Green apples As a currency,So he can Get the apples back,[maybe for his power back..?],I mean, his green costume looked really similar to RTDM DX. Idea 3:There are multiple Master crowns,The ancients must've Created Two or more of them. Idea 4: The ancients Could've been very well in the shadow dimension, sealed,That is another topic,Or,Even more confusing,THERE IS A FORGOTTEN LAND IN THE SHADOW DIMENSION.
So magolor just appropriated their culture? WE NEED TO CANCEL HIM
First We Get Master Sword And We Have Master Crown????????? Wait Fi Has A Boyfriend??????????
This might be more evidence that Magalor came from the same Cult as Hyness.
He even admits he lied, (and hints he lied several times).

@@ilovegrasscuttingincremental is that a reference to a certain song named I made you look?
The darkness in the heart of microtransactions was the reason the master crown was able to possess the gem apple seed.
Yes! That’s what I’ve been saying, too!
3:33 False, there’s a piece of dialogue in the game from a Magolor saying he’s not from Halcandra and just travels alot
4:55 While he could be struggling to keep it “under his control”, it was revealed in a interview saying Magolor didn’t fully lose control til Kirby “killed” him with the Ultra Sword.
-
Besides that, very great theories
Didn't know that last fact! But makes sense considering Magolor's following transformation
@@nondayz593 Right, even the song “Under My Control” sounds like a battle between Magolor and The Master Crown.
Here’s the entry for Crowned Doomer:
“The boss of all Doomers has become a black-winged subjugator powered by the shards of the crown...and he's after Magolor's red fruit!
Thought he quit youtube for family reasons and wasnt coming back for a while, disregarding occasional random uploads of gameplay clips and stuff
the being in the crown is apart of the dark matter species if im correct
I also want to point out that the background where Magolor fights the Master Crown seems to be Egg Engines in the past.
That is, before Egg Engines (or Halcandra) was left in ruins. Therefore, it can be said that an apocalyptic event destroyed the prosperous city of Halcandra and left it in ruins: only being operated by Robots or entities with AI (the Forgotten Land was only forgotten and abandoned, not destroyed)
What I'm getting from all of this is one simple thing:
Living or not, the Master Crown's evil essence can construct itself a body out of anything, using the dark side of a living being to strengthen its influence, control and power.
But that's just my theory.
bro you just described the lore pretty much spot on
You've just described my entire history in a nutshell.
just so you know, in the Deluxe, Magolor confirms he actually is not from Halcandra, so yeah, its confirmed now
Meteorz also mentions that in his remaster versión of what is kirby canon video about magalor and the Master crown
An advanced AI would make sense, since we’ve already seen star dream
It’s a living entity like the Clockwork stars are. We know the ancients are the creators of the Planetary Warp Travel which was stolen from Fecto Elfilis in the Forgotten Land and created all their relics using this technology including the CW Stars. While Dark Matter resides in the Master Crown, the Lor Star-cutter was only being controlled by Magolor with his newfound powers the Crown gave him which is why it comes to Kirby’s rescue at the end of the game. I would compare it to the Warp star in term of sentience as it just lives and exists.
I think the master crown probably gives the wearer power akin to dark matter
Maybe both the good or evil of the wearer but still power enough make any to control it so wouldn't able break free of evil controlling the crown
I still think the crown has a mind of its own and uses darkness in the wearer's heart to slowly take over like a parasite but is powerless when the wearer is pure of heart.
I think it's clear the crown has a mind if it's own i mean how You Even explan that the crown was moveing at moments where magalor summents the lor Star cutter to fight before we fight magalor
the crown has to be inherently evil. as Landia EX's description says, even her pure heart sometimes fails to contain such a strong evil completely.
My theory goes as follows:
Dark matter is not a being but a thing.
Wait, what does it say about Magoland?
3:33
We actually get conformation from Magolor himself admitting in EX mode that he was never from halcandra to begin with.
I think we can all agree that the Master Crown Tree is peak Kirby final boss design, not to mention the burning (presumably) Halcandra in the background.
I have a very soft spot for sentient objects in my games.
With the birdlike appearance of the Sphere Doomers, I wonder if they roost in the Crystal Apple Tree?
small detail with the master crown, the french description reads: "He who wears the master crown gains power, but sees his soul darken. Filled with fury, it became, thanks to the red fruit, a destructive entity: a vegetal crown without a king." adding to the idea that the crown is both conscious and evil.
Bro Kirby lore is giving me a mental breakdown💀💀💀

Perfect timing since I just beat extra mode and magolor epilogue mode last night before going to bed
Morpho Knight is the one I want more lore on.
Same
Feel free to check out Meteorz video on Morpho Knight if you haven’t already. Freaky little bugger.
I'm so surprised they brought back the gem apples from team kirby clash and made it cannon
The possibility of two void termina exsiting it intersing as void is source of all choatic possibilies
Void and dark matters can create anything with their memories, thats why void can create master crowns
Also in the magolor soul fight says that magolor soul Is slaved by hate and obsession of prior rulers, hate and obsession are some of the things void Is made up, so this Is my theory:
How the ancients create a very powerful artefact that gives you control of the entire univesre? Well they probably use a piece of the origin of all matter, void, to create such powerful relic but the priors rulers use it to evil and the crown having a piece of void absorb those bad feelings turning the crown into something similar to a dark matter
I mean that explains the phrase "slave by the hate and obsession of prior rulers" and also explains the relation with void termina, It make sence because hyness said his clan was máster of the matter most dark so probably the ancients have some control over the dark matter and void or at least they use it to create artefacts
The master Crown changes your features and obviously the Master Crown rapidly grown The Appleseed to an sentient apple tree 😗😗😗
pause screens talk about the crown being filled with the hate and obsession (i believe it was) of past rulers, also the crown talks about how when it controls someone, it gives power to them as well as the evil in their heart, so, this is further backed up in Landia ex description as it tells us that not even Landia can fully overcome the urge to rule when wearing the master crown. I think the perfect host for the master crown would be someone like Kirby, someone who cannot be evil.
so if kirby wears the crown, since he is literally positivity or positive void, the crown can't possess him?
@@kirbyisamazing. Yes, he would most likely just become super powerful
@@SpoonAtNoon wonder what abilities he would get with it
My theory: The Master Crown has a mind of it’s own. A very evil mind. The blue was probably because it’s powers were weakened
Edit: Or the crown did have a evil entity in it and the dragon was guarding it from Magolor
Whenever you fight the master Crown look at the background and look at the background of egg engines
OK I have some pretty convincing evidence that Maginot might have something to do with the ancients if we know that highness is an ancient one of the magical ones, and if you look at his ears when his mask comes off, and then you look at mega laws ears when he has his hood on, they’re the same, but we know that’s not actually what mega Lors ears look like, because we saw one of his ears get ripped, and it revealed his true ear, which doesn’t look like that
can you please just decide on a fucking name to call magolor lol
Couple things you could have mentioned:
Landia isnt immune to the master crowns control (source: Landia EX boss description) it's seemingly just highly resistant to it.
(Though wether it was being influenced by the master crown into doing this is unkown)
Good video overall.
I just wish the Ancients are the ancestors of Kirby and Dark Matter. Bring back that whole Star Warrior idea from the Anime.
Hyness is part of the group of Magical Ancients that got banished to the far ends of the universe.
the crown is a failed attempt to seal Dark matter.
void termina being a paralel incarnation of evil kirby, he has absorbed the power of darkmatter and the crown, he summons those powers just like kirby in mouseattack, theyre stored and get summoned in battle.
my personal theory is that a part of some sort of ancient form of dark matter was sealed in the crown by the ancients to try and weaken and/or use its own power against it
Hi Nin10doland I love this and I hope you have a good day and you are awesome
The tree was the greatest evil, seed to all misery.
Microtransaction.
I fought Void out of boredom yesterday & just found out about Master Crown’s laser attack & immediately thought back on Void lmao
The gem apple is probably the evil thing. I mean now that kirby clash makes canonical sense that means that microtransactions are also canon. And we all know how evil microtransactions can be
I’m just glad my favorite little egg turned into a good guy
Maybe the being in the crown is Mistilteinn, the name of the Tree Crown
(Is name is told in the jukebox)
This means Galacta Knight made his first CANON appearance before Morpho Knight (Super Kirby Clash)
Loved the intro the transition beautiful music great
I love how metal general has so much lore now
man I LOVE KIRBY LORE
Landia in it's battle EX is possessed by the crown. She can bring the crown because landia is composed by four entities.
My best guess is that void elfilies soul did what Gorea did from metroid prime hunters but instead of freedom but a new vessel
We didn't get wispy woods as the first boss of the epilogue, so they decided to turn wispy into a god for the final boss.
I guess we’ll see,
Now, i wonder what you’ll talk about next, can’t wait.
12:12 -see- I fricking *_KNEW_* I had seen those tree lasers somewhere else-
Just seeing that magolors abilities dont change when he uses the crown, he only gets stronger and is able to summon portals, it seems unlikely for me that it in itself is evil, the main structure of the object also never changes but just gets warped.
I think the reason magolor charges you for gem apples in the kirby clash games is because hes making your armor out of them
C-r-o-w-n-e-d
a-p-p-l-e
Oh my god C-r-o-w-n-e-d a-p-p-l-e
I was watching one of your Kirby videos and I thought what if the master crown made the sphere doomers to track down powerful objects for the crowns next host
11:36 The silhouette of the tree here looks like some spikey creature with an eye and cape, probably nothing but dark things with eyes in Kirby is sus
Maybe thats the reason why magalor's soul had an even bigger crown because of the greater darkness in magalor ex
I'm getting a feeling that the crown is responsible for the disappearance of the ancients.
The SECOND Part Of The Description Is Referring To Kingdom Hearts Universe Where The Heartless Are
I personally think that the Master Crown is a crown created by Dark Matter or Void Termina.
The thing that turnerd the master crown evil was the transactions hidden within.
Second idea:The purple aura is Dark matters Aura,It HAD Been seen in squeak squad ,in The last image before da roach got possessed, that a lot of purple aura came out(I KNOW IT WAS DARK NEBULA BUT HE IS JUST A REINCARNATION)
Third idea:After maglor Finally got redeemed in the end of RTDM DX,In Kirby Super clash,He Used The Green apples As a currency,So he can Get the apples back,[maybe for his power back..?],I mean, his green costume looked really similar to RTDM DX.
