We can’t forget how the Jambastions fit into this. From what we know it seems the people from the forgotten land came to halcandra (the tech ancients) and met what are now the jambastions (the magic ancients) and they combined to form the ancients and created lots of artifacts we see in the games. The Tech ancients definitely had a evil rule who banished the magic ancients seeing them as a threat after some galactic crisis which very well might be the background of the master crown fight.
Theory: Master Crown is the missing heart from void termina from star allies. Void is capable of creating crowns from thin air. When being awakened, void is missing part of his “heart” thingy, which the mage sisters fill.
Makes sense because when the pieces of the master crown came to the gem apple and formed the crowned Doomer the master crown pieces had a purple energy coming off of it which could mean that it was within the jamba heart
@@darkvoidkirby2588 it also explains why in the C.R.O.W.N.E.D fight, Magolore looks like dark matter because as we all know, say it with me, dark matter = void = Kirby
I think so, partly because of master crown-tree having a similar eye to ones seen on void termina, so my theory is that it's just a small part of void termina that the ancients trapped in the master crown
@@chiefpenguin1728 so could it be that when hyness tried to reform the jamba heart and it wasn't fully whole could be because the master crown was in the other dimension with magolor in the interdimensional traveler epilogue trying to fuse with the gem apple
It really makes you wonder if Void Termina was making Master Crowns with its memory of the original, like how the Dark Matter Clone did with the Rainbow Sword, or if the concept behind the Master Crown was a union of the Ancient’s technology and the power of Void…
Fun fact, I just remembered that Elfilis is not the only one that has the power to open portals, there are crystals that do that too, referring to Kirby 64 and the forgotten land rare stones, in the description of the figure "Rare-Stone Master" It is almost implied that it was the stones that opened the portals to the treasure roads.
Another thing I would like to say is that Haltman probably created his own versions of ancients's technological artifacts that he found during his travels or research; he created his own version of security guards, as well as his own version of Nova. However there is no evidence that he got the designs directly from Halcandra, but considering that the ancients seem to have settled in multiple places, he was able to get that information from somewhere else.
@@ninjapotatolorf6237 Well about the ancients, We have a small clue that the ancients visited multiple planets thanks to the information Magolor gives us in the first Return to Dreamland, he said there was more than one Nova comet, and we know that Nova needs the power of the fountains of the planets, that these were probably also created by the ancients (perhaps as some batteries for Nova). I don't know if only this Comet Nova needs the fountains, but if there were more comets and if they worked the same way, then who knows how many planets might have these constructions on them.
Yeah a lot of kirby games are connected. When I first played forgotten land I instantly saw the connection with treasure roads being extremely familiar to another dimension. Planet robobot is connected with milky way wishes and triple deluxe is connected with amazing mirror. It's really cool seeing the world expand like this.
Perhaps Fecto Elflis has a part of him inside the Master crown and the Master Crown wasn't sentient but had a strong force POSSESSING the Master Crown. And not to mention whenever Elflis closes his wing-like ears the position always reminded me of the Master crown's branch arms, further backing up this theory even more.
One cool detail: In the light novel of KRTDL, the prologue says that Magolor find the Lor inside of the volcano (Dangerous Dinner one, i think??) and Mags just picked it. NOTE: the Light Novel says that the Lor was of the Ancients, they worshiped the Lor, used it for a lot of generations, and after this, the ruins of Halcandra just ''sealed'' the Lor. And thats it ;~;
I have a theory. Fecto Elflis wasn't evil to begin with. No. It probably was on its way to bless the people of the forgotten land with great power, but on its way it met Zero the Lord of Dark Matter, who corrupted the benevolent being.
I have a theory that may be somewhat obscure, well not really a theory, but a speculation: imagine that the master crown was created by the ancients who used magic as a form of revenge before they were exiled. Although it is debatable if they created it, I think the information from the crown said that it had more than one owner, it is not known how long it has existed, and if it has only remained in Halcandra.
0:16 I think that, from a technical standpoint, it does make sense to bring RtDL to Switch before Triple Deluxe or Planet Robobot. Return to Dream Land was the first 2.5D game made on the new engine (since Crystal Shards or Super Star Ultra), and the 3DS games most likely use a modified version of that engine, retaining a lot of features from RtDL. These three games form a very nice trilogy (before Star Allies), so it makes sense to start from the first game of said trilogy. Plus, porting 3DS games would require a bit more work than porting a Wii game (you'd have to account for different aspect ratio and more drastic hardware differences), especially if HAL plans to add more content to potential re-releases of those games as well.
Despite the game they are connecting being called Return to *Dreamland* and the text saying "a *land* of dreams"; Nin10doland calls Dreamland "Dream World" three times in a row.
Can I just point out that both 02, Master Crown (tree specifically), and Fecto Elfilis all look very similar? In that they all have large wings, they all have a halo like object above their head, and either they have a large point at the bottom of their body (02 and the tree) or the bottom of its body is pointed downward (Fecto Elfilis' legs/tail). Just thought that was curious.
I really like this theory, and one other detail that supports it is the line from Magolor Soul’s new flavor text about the Master Crown being filled with “the hatred and obsessions of past rulers”-sounds like this corrupt Halcandran leader is one of the rulers in question! However, you did forget to consider one question-how is the crown, in your theory, related to Void? Because given that he literally summons a giant projection of it to attack in the final battle of Star Allies, there is no doubt a connection between the two. If we can find a way to fit that in, though, it’s a really solid and delightfully dark theory-and, in fact, I’ve got a theory I’ve been pondering myself to add to it. So, in the flavor text during the battle against the dual Sphere Doomers EX in Extra Mode’s 7-3, it is said that the Doomers once “had a different form, and could warp space and time”. Sounds like a group of someones we know, right? My theory, and one I’ve been surprised not to see anyone else talking about so far, is that the Doomers are in fact the Ancients, having somehow undergone a terrible fate and been transformed into eldritch creatures. When Halcandra was destroyed, could the dark power of the Master Crown have transformed or reincarnated it’s people as the dark monsters that are the Doomers? And if this is the case, could the Grand Doomer be none other than the reincarnation of this corrupt leader, still after the power of the Lor Starcutter (in Story Mode) and the Master Crown (in Magolor Epilogue) to this day? (As for the Sphere Doomers, perhaps they were a small group of the overlord/the Grand Doomer’s closest followers or right-hand men or something, while the menial Doomer enemies scattered throughout Another Dimension were just the common citizenry. They’re not really too important to the main points of my theory.)
It's a good theory, especially with the fact that in games when you fight souls they usually have a spherical shape, and almost always use the bounce attack. It would also be a subtle way to show what is the final destination of those who failed to remove the crown.
It is possible that the ancients were trying to recreate the power of the Astral Birth Void, and they used Fecto Efilis’s power to power this tech. Fecto Elfilis is most likely a version of Void that got Dream energy (Void getting Dark energy leads to Dark Matter, and Void getting Heart (positive) energy possibly leading to Kirby) See the Japanese translation of Void Termina’s second form in Soul Melter EX for more info. Also, Magolor says the ancients used this power to make “Clockwork Stars” (Galactic Nova and Star Dream), along with items that “bring dreams to life” (Star Rods). See EX mode for more details. As for the Master Crown, it probably has power from some dark past version of Void, because of it’s capabilities of power, and it’s parasitical nature. Plus, Magolor Soul has a red eye, similar to Dark Matter- a race created from a dark reincarnation of Astral Birth Void. That’s just my theory. Hope you noticed this comment! really good theory! However, there are a few plot holes in it. the master crown destroy halocandra adds up, but the ancients couldn't have been wiped out at that point due to many of their creations being found in dreamland and beyond as well as hyness saying the magic ancients knew them
Hiya, I very do much enjoy your videos and how you go in-depth about possible lore, and I would like to just talk about a theory of my own, or more accurate, head canon to what the Forgotten Land could possibly be. I won't go in detail here as I've already created a extremely long Reddit post of this a few months ago, with reasons to why I believe this (although it's also very fan-fictiony), but even tho it's a extremely unpopular take, I don't believe it to be the home of the ancients, but rather just normal humans related to Adeleine, with the atual planet also being Shiver Star after the events of 64.
I will say that the master crown is actually a conteiment method maybe fecto efilis, since the form of the wings that magalor soul and the Ear wing things that Efilis has are kinda similar, there is also the true arena secret boss which is kinda similar to magalor soul
I feel like the battle with the master crown is actually mostly in mangalores head as he battles the crown’s control over him and when he defeats the crown it shows him actively destroying the crown’s power proofing that he has purged the evil and greed in his heart
I don't think the hal condrans are the ancients. I think that the ancients made the master crown to stop fecto elfilis, and then later used it to enslave the native hal condrans. And maybe hyness made the master crown to stop fecto elfilis, because he does talk about defeating some sort of monster. Anyways, nice video
Hyness specifically says "galactic nightmare of a crisis" or something like that, which doesn't necessarily have to be a specific monster - it could be a wide-reaching disaster, a swarm of threats, or it could literally be Nightmare or Galacta Knight.
Great video. I think I saw (I didn't want to see this just yet) that Magolor actually planted the gem apple tree after the end of the mode, possibly meaning that Super Kirby Clash is canon. But this does make sense. NOTE: I've never played the game but I have seen enough to possibly know what it's about. Plus this just popped in my head and has Zero evidence but the original member of Team Kirby might be the ancestor of the real Kirby.
Two things: 1: it’s heavily implied that the jambastions had something to do with the ancients and thus the master crown, we also know they were split into two factions, science and magic. The scientist ancients built stuff and magic ancients purified it with magic capabilities. But eventually the magic ancients were seen as too powerful and banished. Maybe the creation of the master crown is what sparked the idea of them being too strong. 2: based off of how the security forces in Haltman’s work force is very similar to Metal general the idea of him being an earlier build of said security forces isn’t out of the question.
What If we rearrange the events? What if the master crown was built to capture Fecto Elfilis (I mean the ancients had to be very crafty even before)? Once they had it, they started to abuse it's teleportation powers to build the lor and leave the forgotten land. But what I have NO CLUE is how void termina using the crown fits into all lf this. . My guess is that they're going in the direction of the 4 heroes of yore first. Magolor-epilogue connected Super kirby clash to the lore. And when you fight galacta Knight there he's reffered to as "Aeon hero" and uses the heart spears that where used to seal Void Termina making him a likley contender for one of the 4 heroes. On the topic of why they remade RTDL: It was the glorious return to Kirby's 2D roots and layed the groundwork for the next 3 mainline games. It was the perfect choice to end the 30th anniversary =)
Both also had the 'firsts' for the series: For Kirby's Return to Dream Land, it is the first 'modern' Kirby game after the events of previous games like Kirby and the Amazing Mirror or Kirby's Epic Yarn For Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it is the first 3D mainline game and it's a entirely brand new world for Kirby to explore that's entirely different compared to previous games
I know Kirby AFL was supposed to be the first of its kind in the gcn era but given if that were to happen I don’t think this game would’ve been as well received by many of it was a sequel. I’m glad it’s the first of its kind to come to this generation gives me hope for more types of games like this with other Nintendo ips
Hal lab: we are bringing back a classic game from the wii on the switch the current generation can't play so they can play it! Nin10doland: i t i s f o r l o r e
Pretty sure the reason the chose this is because 1. It's even older. 2. It's only on the Wii (the Wii U was backwards compatible but not many owned it). 3. It was the start of the Kirby Renaissance that brought us the 3DS games, Star Allies, & Forgotten Land. Skipping Return to Dreamland is like skipping parts in JoJo.
Let's not forget that the Ancients also encountered, sealed, and studied at least one instance of Void, which they probably based at least part of some of their devices on. It's even possible that they either based the Master Crown on Void's powers, or they used the Crown _against_ Void.
I follow the theory of the master crown used to seal or contain dark matter, and maybe the trapped entity used mind control similar to forgo. That or the crown is sentient like the starcutter and is just evil instead
I just wanted to mention that in the master crown boss in magolor epilogue there is a part in the song that seems quite similar to the boss song in forgotten land when kirby inhales the semi truck
When we figh the master crown in the remastered version of kirby return to dreamland i had a fought that the backround that we were fighting master crown at was halcandra sense that were master crown was keeps at and it look like the mecha place were we fought metal genarl.
I have this theory that the current storyline of Kirby is now centering on the four heroes of yore. And the parallels between the main Kirby cast and those heroes. Galacta Knight we all know was one of them but I think Fecto Elfilis was also one of them the spear that they hold during the fight against them reminded me of the jamba heart needles, but idk it’s a stretch but I just think we should keep an eye out those heroes.
its also likely that metal general was infact build by haltmann works company simply beacuse one of the robots in the game is literally a prototype of metal general
Well Kirby's Return to Dream Land is as beloved as Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot and since RTDL is the first one it makes sense they chose it to be remastered first. Next one is gonna be TD and then PR. Skipping a game in a series because is more beloved is absolutely wrong. Just look at Mario & Luigi...
I notices that in the level of Another Dimension we can see a planet resembling the earth, it seems to be New World ! (I'm french sorry my english is so bad 😅)
Well I mean it would be cool hearing more of the Kirby Franchise like saying like what do you think about Kirby Right Back At Ya, or will their be a Sequel for Kirby Right Back At Ya and keeping Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon in it and adding new Kirby characters in it, or will Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon be in a Kirby game for once and also talking about King Dedede’s design and why did it turn into a club penguin design?! But okay it’s kinda sad how the metal general doesn’t have a heart like dang that’s just sad. And also it would be cool if HAL did do Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot for the Nintendo Switch and adding new stuff about the agents and maybe some side modes like for Taranza and Susie which that would be cool to see. And also it would be cool if HAL made a new Kirby game it would be about Kirby, Elfilin, and Magolor and also all of Kirby’s friends trying to find the ancients and stop them for good so that they will stop making stuff to control monsters and people and also everything they did to Kirby’s friends he met throughout the Kirby series now that would be cool to see.
You know how the Originull (clearly original) Wastelands are, like, a sandy and fiery, tore-up looking place? And you know how Halcandra is too? Weeeeell, I'm not saying anything for sure, but isn't it weird how they're the same in that way? Doesn't it seem odd that they're so similar, so.. *connected*?
Based on the lore for VS Lor EX and Magalor, Lor is indeed sentient, though there's also the issue of the rest of the lore dump being odd. What is it's true power, and why did it "want to be stopped after stealing the crown"? Thoughts on the above, what if we were wrong all along about the source of evil, and that it wasn't sealed in the Master crown, but in the Lor starcutter itself; the Lor starcutter knew the evil couldn't be so easily vanquished, so it had to be defeated, ALONG with a suitable host for the evil after it was defeated, aka the master crown. Also related, what if we're wrong about the actual abilities of the Master crown, in that it doesn't open portals, BUT instead just creates giant lasers, with the portals being an ability of the said evil itself? The Lor starcutter being made with the same capabilities, and needing to figure out how to splinter off their evil component, the same way Fecto Elfilis got split between the good and evil components. Adter all, when Void uses the master crown, it has always only been used to create giant lasers, which greately resembles the same laser attack used by the tree crown.
I would like to hear about Magolor's Red Fruit. Do you think there is a connection between Fecto Elfilis and the Gem Apples? Because the Ancients could have used both/either to create artifacts such as Nova or Drawcia or everything else in the Kirby series.
Crazy theory but here me out What if for some reason kirby decided to wear the master crown Kirby is positive energy, crown is negative energy, so they would cancel eachother out and kirby would turn into a waddle dee But thats just a theory A game theory
They didnt get wiped out since they apear in other games and made even more crazy gizmos like the one from super star ultra (i forgot its name) Its the end for the world of landia sure but not the ancients that just visited that land while exploring the universe at least thats what i get from all the games.
But what about the clockwork stars they were also made by the ancient but one belonged to president haltmann and the other was brought to dreamland by marx
I have a theory and this revolves around metal General although Loosely based it could be possible that President Altman may have arrived on how a Chandra and they are based off robots after male General considering impalable but Kirby encountered a group of robots called security Force which are based off of and function exactly like metal General and it could be possible that haltman or a relative of haltman they have used the master Crown in the lore starcutter on both helicondra and the Forgotten land it seems this line of Cruelty muscle as the fall into the haltman family all the Lucy bass it could be either case considering that that present hopeman may have been responsible for this and may have traveled the whole Contra after the events or before the events of return the Dreamland where where he based his security Force off metal General
I may be wrong but nova and stardream are also ancient creations right? Anyone got a theory so far as to how they fit in exactly? Edit: Another idea just popped into my head. We know the master crown has some connection to dark matter. Is it possible the master crown was actually created to seal the dark matter?
I checked the new game the next game is kirby star allies 3 so there is no leader there is nothing but an update to kirby star allies it releases a new version of void termina and so much more I am so excited the best part it's free if you already have the game :D
its a lie it never was the lor star cutter its just telling people how he wants to destroy popstar. popstar being the star and he planed to kill it . Very smart HAL

Two things:
1: it’s heavily implied that the jambastions had something to do with the ancients and thus the master crown, we also know they were split into two factions, science and magic.
On the topic of why they remade RTDL:
It was the glorious return to Kirby's 2D roots and layed the groundwork for the next 3 mainline games. It was the perfect choice to end the 30th anniversary =)
8:15 thats haltman, he has other metal generals as mini bosses in planet robobot, so it makes sense.
Both also had the 'firsts' for the series:
For Kirby's Return to Dream Land, it is the first 'modern' Kirby game after the events of previous games like Kirby and the Amazing Mirror or Kirby's Epic Yarn
For Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it is the first 3D mainline game and it's a entirely brand new world for Kirby to explore that's entirely different compared to previous games
Don't forget that Magolor also said that the Ancients also were the ones responsible in making the Clockwork Stars (Galactic Nova)
And Star Dream as well
Hal lab: we are bringing back a classic game from the wii on the switch the current generation can't play so they can play it!
Nin10doland: i t i s f o r l o r e
,abue boht
Hi Nin10doland I love this and I hope you have a good day and you are awesome
I think the firey background in the tree fight is the halcandran volcano erupting
I just wanted to mention that in the master crown boss in magolor epilogue there is a part in the song that seems quite similar to the boss song in forgotten land when kirby inhales the semi truck
Tbh, Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is more like a 'follow up' of the events from Kirby and the Forgotten Land
Finally somone big made video about it I was so into fl lore and I wanted to someone refresh to other that those 2 are Connected
Metal general reminds me of the haltmann works company.
Maybe they just went from forgotten land to halcandra to the nova out in space
Love your vids about Mario and kirby
When we figh the master crown in the remastered version of kirby return to dreamland i had a fought that the backround that we were fighting master crown at was halcandra sense that were master crown was keeps at and it look like the mecha place were we fought metal genarl.
I think highness is a ancient
I do have a theory the sand ability has some sort of crown in it when you block
I have this theory that the current storyline of Kirby is now centering on the four heroes of yore. And the parallels between the main Kirby cast and those heroes.
Galacta Knight we all know was one of them but I think Fecto Elfilis was also one of them the spear that they hold during the fight against them reminded me of the jamba heart needles, but idk it’s a stretch but I just think we should keep an eye out those heroes.
Hey! Love ur videos! Also could u make a video on the minigame challenges that would help a lot! Thanks!
New video 🎉🎉🎉
its also likely that metal general was infact build by haltmann works company simply beacuse one of the robots in the game is literally a prototype of metal general
I thought the security force was reverse engineered from the metal general.
It’s been confirmed that the Haltman works company copied metal generals design, they didn’t create the original.
If they don’t have Kirby planet robobot on switch then I’m gonna steal Nintendo’s files for the Mario movie
YES
I love Kirby and the forgotten land so much
Well this makes sense. Kirby is in both games
Lore of Kirby RTDL and The Forgotten Land Are CONNECTED?! Momentum 100
I notices that in the level of Another Dimension we can see a planet resembling the earth, it seems to be New World ! (I'm french sorry my english is so bad 😅)
You did really good for not speaking English as your main language
And also it would be cool if HAL made a new Kirby game it would be about Kirby, Elfilin, and Magolor and also all of Kirby’s friends trying to find the ancients and stop them for good so that they will stop making stuff to control monsters and people and also everything they did to Kirby’s friends he met throughout the Kirby series now that would be cool to see.
instead of the Escargoon cameo in mass attack also with few anime characters to
@@donkeykong6426 Well yeah but I just don’t know why HAL just doesn’t want to add Tiff and Tuff in Kirby’s Mass Attack?
the first star portal was from k64. the crystal was making them.
Forgotten LAND, LANDia…
Yeah, I’m on to something…
That leader could be that Ancient that made the Master Crown and the Lor Starcuter? ??
If you collect all of the gears magolor tells you that the lore is sentient
I would like to hear about Magolor's Red Fruit. Do you think there is a connection between Fecto Elfilis and the Gem Apples? Because the Ancients could have used both/either to create artifacts such as Nova or Drawcia or everything else in the Kirby series.
Void reincanerd on negative emotions = void termina, zero, goey (and probaly the crow ) good emotions = kirby
5:41
I think it just look like Susie new company was here.
The saturation you did to this video strains my eyes more than epilepsy videos
Mat pat needs to get on this theory and add on to plus this theory is matpat worthy. Matpat would be proud
Crazy theory but here me out
What if for some reason kirby decided to wear the master crown
Kirby is positive energy, crown is negative energy, so they would cancel eachother out and kirby would turn into a waddle dee
But thats just a theory
A game theory
They didnt get wiped out since they apear in other games and made even more crazy gizmos like the one from super star ultra (i forgot its name)
Its the end for the world of landia sure but not the ancients that just visited that land while exploring the universe at least thats what i get from all the games.
I think a dark matter or void being is imprisoned in the master crown
I thinch. A Dark matter
But what about the clockwork stars they were also made by the ancient but one belonged to president haltmann and the other was brought to dreamland by marx
I think the master crown is responsible
it's pretty obvious that the forgotten land is Earth and the inhabitants were humans. it would make a lot of sense.
Between this, the forgotten lands and star allies, there is a lot of reasons to believe this.
With new descriptions, Haltmann probably found the projects of Metal General and Star Dream.
galacta knight is the other ancient
Everything is connected in a kirby game why is everyone surprised by this?
2:24 s word
I may be wrong but nova and stardream are also ancient creations right? Anyone got a theory so far as to how they fit in exactly?
Edit: Another idea just popped into my head. We know the master crown has some connection to dark matter. Is it possible the master crown was actually created to seal the dark matter?
I believe halcranda may be redgar forgotten land
That leader could be in the next game.???
I checked the new game the next game is kirby star allies 3 so there is no leader there is nothing but an update to kirby star allies it releases a new version of void termina and so much more I am so excited the best part it's free if you already have the game :D
Maybe all the Kirby villains are under one leader???
Would be cool to see a Zero 3
No other civilization in the universe did use dreams/memories/feelings or just psychic enegy radar in deep space that how fecto notice radar
Just so you know its dream land
its a lie it never was the lor star cutter its just telling people how he wants to destroy popstar. popstar being the star and he planed to kill it . Very smart HAL
And also in star allies in hyness check description (forgot which one) lor means paradise.
PP
The ancients are from star allies
10:24 haltman??
I am so early that this video was made 17 minutes ago are you impressed
