This is literally exactly what I was looking for; I'm debating between these 2 and this video helped me finally decide on the docs, that yellow stitching is so clean
Personally I have 5 pair of Tims and 3 Dr. Martens... Tims are definitely more comfortable. I recently went to Colorado and took a brand new pair of Tims with me. They were the most comfortable show I could have chosen to hike three the ski lodges, up mountains and just walking in everyday life. Last Black Friday I wore a pair of new Dr. Martens to the mall to show and that was the worst idea ever!! Dr. Martens definitely take a long while to break in. My older pair that I have had for years feels great on my feet but be prepared with a new pair!!! P.S. love how much effort and detail you put into your videos!!
Similar scenario on the boots. I grew up with Timberlands but was always fascinated by Doc Martens. I regret selling my Doc Martens. Use to get heat about it being black and wearing them. Now I wouldn’t care about another mans opinion. I still like how they look.
YT algorithm just popped up your video, and I'm glad it did. Better late than never right? I own two pairs of Tims 6" premium + a rain version, and also two pairs of dr. martens 1460s eg winter fleece tan and classic shiny black patent leather. Both T & DMs look and feel good. But in icy circumstances dms soft rubber sole 'grips' like all-weather tires. Tims are good for trekking in the country. Each have a role for me. Good video!! -Cheers!
I own multiple pairs of Timberland boots, and they are not necessarily the most comfortable boots, at least for me, but they are heavy duty and protect your feet from the cold, from rain, etc. They are just a ruggedly handsome boot that was designed from the get go for you to kick the shit out of them every day all the time.
To also be honest I'm also a timberland guy...cause doc martens are okay for me but where I live theres too many fakes and you can't really find a shop in the mall to buy them from but this video you did was amazing, great stuff ma G
i think the docs look better compared to the black timbs, but if you were to compare them to the regular yellow version i think i would go for the timbs.
Yooo, great video! Timbs all the way! I usually rock my Timbs loose, but I love your look with em tighter! I’m gonna try it out now. Agreed it looks more mature. I’m also gonna have to cop a pair of black on black Timbs now, next to my wheats. 👍🏻🔥
Nice outfits espacially the first and second !! These two brand boots have their own identity but i love them both too !! I wear timbs in fall/winter 🙂
Just found your channel and liking the fits and style. Good choice of fits for the comparison, feels like to me that for the 1. fit the timbs work better because of the more casual normcore vibe, in the 2. fit the docs fit better because edgier/dapper vibe and the 3. can go either way depending on what you wanna do with the boots. Anyway nice comparisons, nice fits, good content.
I grew up in Seattle, WA, and I have owned both. Mine are always Dr Martens. I own a pair of Chelsea's right now, both in brown and black. I have found for myself that the variety is key.
I own both boots and the Doc Martens are definitely more versatile from a styling standpoint. Don’t be afraid to get creative and take a little risk. You honestly can’t go wrong with the Doc Martens 1460’s.
I’d go with the Docs because I’m very much into Hardcore punk and ska but I would definitely try timberlands later in the future I hear they are very comfortable for the winter
Bonjour, Rio. I'm about being fresh so it's Tims all day. Before if you saw someone wearing a certain shoe, you knew that they knew something or that they had been somewhere. Now it's just about who has the most money. It's not the same.
Get both but.....I own a few of Timberland 6 inch premium and Doc 1460s. Timbs are more durable, rugged, and received tons of compliment but is a dirt magnet. Its easy to clean Doc's but the leather quality is horrible and the outsole will give in after a couple of years, never received any compliment while wearing Docs. My Docs (around 5-7 years) dont last as long as my Timbs (10-15 years).
doc martens arent that durable, as someone who used to own Made in england 1460s and now switched to solovair there is a night and day difference in quality and durability, if you want a doc style go solovair
Solovair is such an obvious better choice for those that like the DM style. Solovair doesn't have much brand awareness, most people who wear DMs don't know about them.
I have both but like you I prefer my Timbs because they are more comfortable with a thicker heel. The doc boots I don't wear much because they are quite stiff, they look though
I own a pair of Tim’s , but I like the looks of the docs much better, they don’t seem as bulky, much better lines , I don’t find my. Timbers very comfortable
It's a Tie, but fun fact; Timberland uses Leather from the good ole' Horween Leather Co. born and raised in Chicago, in which they also make leather for the NFL and NBA
@KatyushaRockets they do not use horween leather unless on very limited runs which costs like $1000 on ebay. Their leather is cheap and is sourced from many tanneries like LeFarc in Mexico
I love my Timbs, but I think the only look good when they look new. Couple scuffs and it's time to replace em. Thinking about copping a pair of docs that's can take some damage and still look good. What do yours look like at that year and a half mark?
Interestingly, my partner in crime comes from the punk culture background whereas I can identify more with the urban culture thing with timbs lol. I actually dig the docs though and might grab a pair. I do dig them on the misses though.
Black tims go better with Khaki, black, grey, and blue jeans. The outfits looked better with Dr. Martens because the stitching contrasted well with the pants. The outfits weren't meant for Tims.
I personally like Doc Martens more, but unfortunately women have taken over that boot. And I feel extremely self conscious wearing them. So, I only wear Timbs. I do have a pair of Docs but I only wear them with black jeans.
Stylistically a tie but Timbs for the culture.
I agree!
Also quality
Fax
BIG AGREE!
Also Timberland have superior quality.
This is literally exactly what I was looking for; I'm debating between these 2 and this video helped me finally decide on the docs, that yellow stitching is so clean

So i think you use boots for daily, any increase size on calves?
As a new Bus Driver, was thinking between the 2. Went with Timberlands and your video helped. Thanks.
Similar scenario on the boots. I grew up with Timberlands but was always fascinated by Doc Martens. I regret selling my Doc Martens. Use to get heat about it being black and wearing them. Now I wouldn’t care about another mans opinion. I still like how they look.
Rocked plenty of Timbs before. Just recently purchased a pair of Docs and I love them! For me the Docs are more stylish and extremely comfortable!
YT algorithm just popped up your video, and I'm glad it did. Better late than never right?

I’m partial to the Timbs as well. The hubby loves his Timbs. I can’t get him to try anything else. 🤷🏾♀️
Can’t deny the street classics lol
I am a child of hip-hop so i gotta stick with the timbs. Bought a Dr. Martens set recently though.
@@oddrigo His wife also got into an entanglement. So yeah
@@TheFDream 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@TheFDream come on man, why you do him like that LMAO
@@cartoonworld1000 I didn't. She did
@@TheFDream I knew you were going to say that LMFAO, the whole damn scenario played out in my head 😂😂

Some jodeci boots as we used to call em in the 90s..🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve always been a Timbs guy. But as my style has grown, I legit think that I prefer the look of Doc’s now 😬. Well, at least in this video I did lol.
Same.. they make the outfit look much cleaner
@@jaydee1804 they really do!
The exact reason I made the video lol
i think the docs look better compared to the black timbs, but if you were to compare them to the regular yellow version i think i would go for the timbs.
Same scenario. I grew up into Timbs but now I sway more to wearing my Docs now.
Its crazy you mad this vid cause I was already planning to get both cant go wrong. Dope comparison vid!
I agree.. Gotta have both! Thanks for watching!
Timberlands all the way. They just look great. Never been a fan of that loud yellow stitching on the Martens.
Yooo, great video! Timbs all the way! I usually rock my Timbs loose, but I love your look with em tighter! I’m gonna try it out now. Agreed it looks more mature. I’m also gonna have to cop a pair of black on black Timbs now, next to my wheats. 👍🏻🔥

Super useful video! I think I'm gonna buy the Timberlands
both are dope stylistically in my opinion but this video edit was 🔥
Thank you! Glad you liked it
I like the doc martens but didn’t know how to style them. This definitely gives me inspiration!
I own both boots and the Doc Martens are definitely more versatile from a styling standpoint. Don’t be afraid to get creative and take a little risk. You honestly can’t go wrong with the Doc Martens 1460’s.
Baggier pants Timbs
Fitted or straight leg Docs
Great video man, might gotta cop some docs after watching this
You most def should!
I’d go with the Docs because I’m very much into Hardcore punk and ska but I would definitely try timberlands later in the future I hear they are very comfortable for the winter
Honestly it depends on what type of music you like. I play guitar and grew up listening to Joy Division and Iron Maiden so yea I rock some Docs.
The doc martins look better with all the fits. Quality video too. Keep it up Rio.👍🏽
Thanks!
Not to forget, that Doc Martens were the Number One New York Skinhead Boot, who were not always friendly, back in the Days.
Really nice outfits mate , you look great !!
Yo bro, what kind of pants are you wearing at 3:45? I like them. Nice video!!
Oldie but goodie! So helpful! Thanks 😊

Yes, very true. Sadly.

that gray jacket looks amazing! where did you get it from?
Great video. FYI don’t think comfortability is a real word.
This video was dope 🔥
I have both but like you I prefer my Timbs because they are more comfortable with a thicker heel. The doc boots I don't wear much because they are quite stiff, they look though
I have the timbs, but the DMs look dope too. Might consider having one too.
Definitely copping black Timbs after watching this
🙌🏾
I like both, although I'm a Doc's guy personally, I do have a pair of Timbs, but I definitely prefer my Doc's 👌
I think both boots really suit you 😊
Nice to see them laced up like this - I hate the ridiculous baggy/falling off style I see so many dudes wearing them.
i like the doc martens, i do! But the timberlands just look sooo cool
If Timbs ive been wearing since 1998 till 2024 & still going on.. what have you to say? 😅
Timberlands forever!!!
timbs are the real deal period.
i’m stick with timbs. more stylish and more softer feel on foot
I own a pair of Tim’s , but I like the looks of the docs much better, they don’t seem as bulky, much better lines , I don’t find my. Timbers very comfortable
Slim you been killn it 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Thank you!

This is it right here rio maaayn
Really liked you jacket, where did you get that from?
Both legendary boots.
It's a Tie, but fun fact; Timberland uses Leather from the good ole' Horween Leather Co. born and raised in Chicago, in which they also make leather for the NFL and NBA
No they do not.
@filthyvibes4768 no what?

What pants are you wearing to show off the boots? (The cargo pants in outfit 3)
Great video boss
Thank you!
What are the pants in outfit 1, those are clean. The Timberlands just look better.
Quick one, can a timberland sole be changed?🤔
🔥🔥 as always !
Thank you! 😊
Doc martens work for every outfit but the timbs are them heavy steppers
Literally! I can’t tell if that was a pun or not, but it worked out lol
Notification gang 🤘🏽
💯
Docs all day for me
Can’t go wrong with them
Gonna rock with timb
Both are fire! But gotta lean to timbs just cuz im from the east coast lol
Haha I feel it!
Hey @I Am RIO P. what were the other Doc Martens you got?
I love my Timbs, but I think the only look good when they look new. Couple scuffs and it's time to replace em. Thinking about copping a pair of docs that's can take some damage and still look good. What do yours look like at that year and a half mark?
What kind of pants are the tan ones from look 3 ???
Real steppers know u gotta have both
Agreed!
Without a doubt 🥰
They are both Fire.
Timberlands cannot be beat for comfort…not even a contest.
Were those Martens made in England?
I will always prefer timbs, the same way I prefer iron plates over rubber
very nice marten boot
Interestingly, my partner in crime comes from the punk culture background whereas I can identify more with the urban culture thing with timbs lol. I actually dig the docs though and might grab a pair. I do dig them on the misses though.
Timbo’s! For me just cause I never had a pair of Doc’s.
Cop you a pair! Lol
@@iamriop I just might. LOL!!

Pls respond.
God did
Vegan flight Jacket? Size and Brand? I’m a Tim’s guy but the Docs styled better with the fits🔥🔥🔥🖤👊🏿
Vegan suede bomber. Size medium from Abercrombie & Fitch - bit.ly/2Or5pmw - And thanks! Glad you enjoyed the vid!
I prefer timbs❤❤
Doc Martens looks cool though.

Timbs!!
💯
I like 'em both. 😆
Timbs All Day!
Timberlands all day every day. I don't like the yellow stitching on the Martens
Hmm.. I hear you. I actually like it tho!
Outfit 1 timbs
Outfit 2 and 3 Docs
Timberlands in a hot summer is a Hell NO! Docs in a winter ain't good either..
The outfit are very great
Thanks!
I personally like Doc Martens more, but unfortunately women have taken over that boot. And I feel extremely self conscious wearing them. So, I only wear Timbs. I do have a pair of Docs but I only wear them with black jeans.
