My 2016 Ford Escape is Ruby Red Pearl Tricoat Color. I was wondering how they mixes the metallics in the clear. I love the Ruby Red on my Escape. I do need to get it cut and polished just to give it that pop. I may even get it ceramic coated when the paint correction is done.
This is a semi down draft booth. Air comes in the top through filters at the door end of booth. Flows through booth and out through paint trap filters at the back bottom. Fan is set to move air about 80-100 feet a minute. Can still get junk in paint but it reduces it a lot and gets fumes out. Some booths have heaters for hot curing as well.
I was curious about you painting perpendicular on the front end? It obviously doesn't matter . It's just different than what you mostly see done from what I've watched on you tube. I've always wanted to learn this stuff but I'm just a couch painter on my phone.
