2nd Generation Dodge Ram AC (Air Conditioner ) fix.

Quick video on a potential air conditioning fix for a 2nd Generation Dodge Ram. I had checked all the fuses and relays for the AC when my compressor quit engaging and all I got was warm air.. But after lengthy research I found that the 20 Amp "Horn" fuse, located under the hood, is also tied to the AC. If this fuse is blown the compressor won't engage. As soon as I put in a new fuse it started working again. This may not fix your Ram, but it's worth a try. Best of luck.

20 cents you can go to the junk yard and pull them and throw them in your pocket but most times you always check your charge on the refrigerant i have had to replace mine with one from the junk yard bc there its $40 compared to over 300 new

You think it would work on a 1500? In the winter I have heat but summer I got no ac. Sounds like it’s trying to kick on but doesn’t. Appreciate it thanks in advance.

what if your comp works and it has refrigerant in it and everything is working but it still doesnt blow cold but only mildly cool?

@@butterbean4195 a small refrigerant leak is the typical reason it quits blowing cold, you could have a faulty compressor or a damaged condenser.....

If it's barely blowing or only blowing in defrost. Check the vacuum tubes.
Just traced mine and it blows. Now I'm trying to make it blow cold.
