You should head back. I worked there between 2004 and 2008 and again 2012. Went back for Christmas / New Year last year and could not believe the difference. There's a lot more to see if you get back!
I saw the worlds biggest white crocodile 🐊 in Darwin Australia called “Snowy McArthur” in the 1980’s. I was kept a a crocodile farm & Zoo. It could jump up pretty high and to feed them. The guy goes in to the compound and beats a chicken on the ground which the Crocs sense it’s Dinner 🥘. I have a photo somewhere of me looking like I’m feeding it but I put my camera lens through the holes in the wire fence and photographed it as the trainer sat up on a ladder then the croc jumped up & took the whole chicken 🐔 That photo looked like me feeding it which would never happen. Alright bruv, they recently conducted a survey on different cities in the UAE to see which cities watch The Flintstones. The people in Dubai don't, but the people in Abu Dhabi do.
Happy New Year Matt. Just remember when in the UAE, there are citizens and noncitizens. Non Citizens have very limited rights and always are in the wrong if you have an issues with citizens of the UAE. I too enjoyed my time there up in Abu Dhabi. Very nice folks.
