Vince was musically adorable. When I saw the Dead in the '90s, he always did such a smooth, professional job on the piano section. RIP, I really enjoyed him.
I was actually underwhelmed by their performance at this show, which sums up most shows I went to after Brent Mydland died…they just started to sound tired to me and I sort of lost interest.

I saw one of these at RFK in DC the same year, it was great. This one was a little sloppy, but hey they were covers. Loved seeing Bobby and Mr. Miller doing their best Pete Townshend imitations with the windmill moves and jumps, classic. Vince started weak but finished strong on "Baba O'Riley" and Phil was having fun, Jerry just looked bemused. LOL.
I just realized that jerry is mimicking sitar sounds during that first verse of tomorrow never knows.. didnt know at that time as I was busy spinning in a hallway :D
