    02:15 - the rear end is bucking because the stock leafs are garbage and have no travel. Get a set of aftermarket progressive leafs to handle that terrain way better with the same kings.

      Thanks! That is what my research after the fact has been telling me as well haha

    Glad you love the set up. I just bought myself some 2.5 Kings and Uniball uppers from Dirtking for my 2019 suburban 1500.

      Nice! I do have eventual plans to install a similar set up on the next family truckster, hopefully a 15-18 Denali

    Love the truck, i got the same wheels on my 2014 with some 285/75r17 toyo mt and have been loving it so far. All I'm missing is some upper control arms and leaf springs

      Nice! Sounds like a solid start! I think I’m gonna have to look into some nice leaf springs sooner than later 😅

    Nice truck! These Silverado’s are solid off road! Im running the Bilstien 5100’s all around with spacers on the front and Im able to run 315/70/17. It does pretty damn good off road but definitely has its limits. I get zero rub daily driving and minimal out on the trails with zero damage to the fender wells. Im definitely looking forward to upgraded my shocks. Thanks for the video

      Thanks! Yeah bilstiens did cross my mind but I’ve always wanted Kings and they paid for themselves(figuratively speaking of course). I only rub a tiny bit because of where I have mine adjusted to but it can easily be changed if or when I decide to go bigger. Definitely recommend upgrading control arms at least though if you haven’t already, dirt king has been solid for me so far but there is also Mazzula and icon to consider as well, just depends what you wanna do with your rig! Thanks for watching!

      What’s your offset and wheel width? I run 8.5 wides with 0 offset on 35x12.50 with a 3 inch leveling kit and 5100s and absolutely destroyed my liners. I even had to trim metal to turn full lock

    What wheels and tires do you have on the truck, also what kind of lift did the shocks give you?

    How often do you have to rebuild those shocks?

      I’m not honestly sure. It’s been a year so far and no issues.

      honestly depends on how hard you beat them up. but Kings recommends anywhere from 35k-50k miles.

    I want to put a leveling kit on my truck, I have a 2015 Silverado 2500hd and k want to put a conversion kit to coil over instead of torsion bar, do I get a king off road conversion level?

    • @TheBeardedTortilla
      @TheBeardedTortilla  Рік тому

      So you can, I would recommend you check out kibbetech for a conversion kit, they have a pretty badass conversion kit to coil over and I believe they run kings. You can also check out I think BDS and Fox make conversion kits as well. Definitely shop around and see what fits your budget best! 🤙🏻
