I think, it’s so yummy when u dip chaoguay in the soup (used all the soup). Look your mouth eating I feel so hungry, I must come there to eat all the foods u introduced in this video. It’s very delicious & cheap.
Do Dee Paidang is my wife's favourite. That lady is so nice and a crack up too. I was ordering takeaway for my wife while face timing on what's app and she just took my phone off me and starting talking to my wife to find out what she wanted. That's service.
I love when you do a Cabramatta food vlog ..The fams and I go here every week ..The bbq pork and duck place is iconic ..So many great places to eat..Thanks for sharing , you know how much I love your videos ..I think a yum cha Cabramatta video would be great ..❤️🥰💕..x
These local business must love you! I think you are doing a great thing showcasing this part of Sydney. I love your idea buying the banh mi rolls and the pork separately. Why didn't I thinkn of that?! Im looking forward to the next vlog already!
I lived 30 mins drive away from Cabramatta for about 4 years and would often travel for the Bun Bo Hue and genuine slow drip coffee. I miss it so much! Had my first taste of durian there in the form of a shake, fun experience. Love that place.
Great video Kev! Lots of childhood memories for me growing up close by in Fairfield and visiting Cabra every weekend. Now enjoying sharing these great places with my kiddies! Love the teochew chatter with the dimsum aunty 😍
the only thing i miss about Sydney is the nice cold winter and the awesome foods. it's SO HARD to find anything like this here where i live in QLD. i miss it very much
An excellent video. My Vietnamese friend took me to Cabra a couple of months ago, it’s such an amazing variety of south east Asian cuisine. Another visit is well overdue.
@Sydney Food Boy Since I live in Cabra, I know a couple of things you should try on your next endeavour One of which is the UE Noodle Restaurant and when you're there, get the duck egg noodles with thick noodles. Shredded duck or not is your decision. Another place is Hippy Chippy. I was introduced to it by some mates while heading to Red Lea recently and trust me, it's amazing. Since Red lea raised their prices, this is a perfect place to get hot chips large for $5. You can also try Pho Tau Bay which is next to the place where you get the pandan waffles.
Was considering popping Hippie Chippy in this video but opted to do Yummi instead 🙂 maybe in the next one! Pho Tau Bay is solid! Been going there for a long time, usually I bounce between PTB and Pho Ann if eating pho in Cab. UE noodle does some fantastic noodle dishes that aren't seen as often. I love their bun Mang vit and mi vit tiem! 🙂 Thanks for watching!!
Happy 1 year anniversary, discovered your channel from part 1 and have been a loyal viewer since! Still so jealous of the amazing Asian food scene you have down in Sydney.
That first meal for 7.90 looked like a decent size for a small. I wil be near there tomorrow, so i know what i'm now having for lunch . Great vid as usual mate.
Great vid dude, i missed Cab so much, used to go there every week, but haven't been there for a few years now... I will pay it a visit next time when heading to the west thanks to you.
I miss Cabramatta so much I relocated to Perth, Always used to go there for Viet food it was heaps cheap compared to other parts in Sydney, there is no suburb like Cabramatta here in Perth, spewing.
Thanks Calvin! Definitely reckon the ham sui gok would be the best order there! And the SIU Mai wasn't bad either. Har gow doesn't have a full prawn in it
We were there today and tried J’s kitchen for the first time… I went to that place for the fried bread also. I will try your usual option when I go back. Thank you for the video ❤️
I live in the UK and I'm heading over your way in October I can't wait to go to Cabramatta for a feed so I'll try the places you recommend..Keep up the good work...
I keep bugging the OH to take me to Cabra to try the food! Our adult son is relocating to Sydney in the next month or so. You remind us so much of him! He's a foodie too! Another awesome vid - thanks Kev!
Since I discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago it's been amazing the food I've seen you eat! I haven't been to Sydney for a while (thanks covid) but I'm definitely doing a trip to Cabaramatta.
My friend lived on that side of the station and I never noticed that chicken place - I totally missed out... Although this was 2004! We always got banh mi from the bakery on the corner - ridiculously cheap and delicious. They'd leave free bread they didn't sell during the day out at night for people to take too!
one way to tell that a youtuber's production value has been increasing is when the host has realised there's nothing wrong with a little bit of make up :)
Was that some Teo Chew I heard? 🤩 All those dishes gave me such a strong hit of nostalgia! My husband and I also love Do Dee 😍 I usually get number 12 haha. So up until now I’ve refusing to do my shopping here, because of this main reason…..🤔🧐 And you know what? I’ve been buying my foods with all the takeout foods from these stores you’re showing in this video lol 😋😆

I had dodee paidang in Melbourne. I will definitely give this a go! Thanks again for showing us where to go. Getting a little chunky for a cause ;)
LOL. Trying my best not to get chunky Jasper!
the thing I miss most about Sydney is that the food is so cheap there, gold coast has nothing to compare if it does its triple the price
Is it really! Where are some good places to eat on the GC?
Head down to Sunnybank or Inala
Is eat street still open in brisbane city?
Good video mate will have to have a wander around there 1 weekend and try some of those places as I am not to far from Cabra.
