I’ve tried both methods of wash and not washing around 7 times and the washed eggs have way better hatch rates, also using the Nurture Right 360.
I wash eggs then I roll them in 3% peroxide.

+TheUrbanCluckers Thank you for sharing. I have experienced better hatch rates as well with washed eggs. I haven’t tried peroxide yet but I have heard it works well and the research I’ve done supports it. I plan to try it out with one of my hatches.

I've been using the manna pro for 3 hatchings already. My biggest complaint is filling the water. Unless I'm doing something wrong its hard to see how much water it has or I should put. The first time I over filled the tap.
I like that its easy to use and understand tho. I struggled a tiny bit once I understood how the temp and humidity worked it was easy except adding water.

Thanks for reaching out. I agree that the humidity is the most difficult part of incubating. I have over filled my incubator and have had to use paper towels to absorb some of the water. The humidity always drops overnight. It can take hours to get an accurate humidity reading to know if you put the correct amount of distilled water in. I am currently in the process of a new egg-speriment where I am trying out dry hatching in one incubator and I will be using a shoe string to wick distilled water into the incubator as needed in my second incubator to see if either is a better option for humidity control. I’ll make a video documenting how it all goes. I do really like the Manna Pro incubator since I get good hatch rates and can see the hatching process. If I can find a way to make controlling humidity easier that would make it even better. I recently had a viewer reach out saying if you use a condiment squirt bottle to add distilled water to the small wells in the incubator. I picked one up from the dollar store to give it a try since I am always spilling the water. Happy hatching 🐣

Also is best to just leave the eggs in there the whole 21 days instead? I've decided not to open the case cause I end up thinking maybe I'm ruining the eggs somehow.

Thank you for reaching out. That is a great question. I had the same question myself so I did an eggs-periment. Here is the link to the video I made about it m.ua-cam.com/video/ghIp0yHeOFo/v-deo.html
Interestingly enough, I concluded that opening the incubator and candling the eggs did not negatively impact the hatch rate of my eggs. Candling is beneficial in that you can remove eggs that have had early embryonic deaths in order to prevent a rotten egg from exploding in your incubator. Based on this egg-speriment I have continued to wash my hatching eggs and candle them on day 7, 10, 14 and 18. Happy hatching!
