Indeed, criminally underrated one of my favourites too, i remember when i was a kid i rented this game cause i couldn't buy it, greetings from Argentina.
Critically underrated? GamePro gave this game a perfect 5.0 across the board, in its November of 1994 issue. Along with Sonic and Knuckles, and Earthworm Jim, it was a good month for Sega.
Me and my brother used to spend hours and hours playing this game. One of us would always shoot the incoming stuff, the other would shoot at the boss. Great video! Hit me in the feels.
It's exactly the same as the original Lethal Enforcers, but this time Konami gussied up the classic arcade light-gun shooter as a cheesy western. Good times!
Oh man, memories. I remember buying this in the late 90s from this building that looked like a mushroom tent in Homeland, CA. I also got Steel Empire, Strider Returns, and Ghouls and Ghosts from that place. Challenging game but fun! Even better with a Konami Justifier and CRT television.
A playthrough of Konami's 1994 Sega CD light-gun shooter arcade port, Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters. You might want to fix the description here as it is the cart version, and not the CD version.
If this game was released on the Super NES, imagine how butchered it would be to comply with NOA's policy (like replacing the Indian and Mexican enemies and getting rid of alcoholic references).
@@NintendoComplete I agree. If you look at the first game, that version had to cut a lot, as well as change the name of two levels, Chinatown Showdown and Drug Dealer, to Downtown Showdown and Gunrunners (Drug Dealer is obvious, but Chinatown Showdown is a stupid change, as you are still shooting at Chinese gangsters attacking you).
IMO, the PS1 version was a rather lazy port. The AI in that version was broken; multiple enemies on the screen and collision detection. It sucks because the only other way to play an "arcade-perfect" version of the game is through MAME.
Well, the Indian chief no longer turns back into a skeleton in this version, he just flashes away. No censorship on the Genesis my ass (I read a comment about that earlier, claiming the Genesis barely had any censorship, when this is a rather big censorship thing here).
@@JunkerDC Yeah the CD version has the ending cinematic, and thankfully the arcade music (unlike the first game, which seemed to be remixes) and cleaner voice samples, but still the same ugly dithering that plagued the Genesis port.
This was one of my favorite games growing up and it is criminally underrated

“You ain’t gonna git meee! sheriff!”
Ok, now translate all other phrases

No it isn;t because the bullets ACTUALLY GO WHERE YOU SHOOT THEM UNLIKE IN THE FIRST GAME WHERE BULLETS WENT WHERE EVER THEY SO CHOOSE.
The gun was always accurate for me in the first one, as long as it was calibrated properly at the beginning of the game.
Great game. Nice port. I enjoied soo much playing the two ports. Even cause lots of voices and good quality. the soundtrack too.
Concordo.
Definitely one of the best arcade conversions on the Genesis. The Genesis soundtrack is really good.
By far one of my favorite games growing up

Lethal Enfighter II Gun Fighting
How did anyone in this town not see the 50,000 Bankrobbers and their Horses from miles away.

Good call, thanks.
Game fun, but the playtrough him, it is Joystick pistol or common control?
I'm using a mouse to emulate the gun

Lmao there'd be about two minutes of gametime left if you cut that all :D

AI is fine, Konami just threw in more enemies in the first game, second game I have no issues with finishing it with a pad.
Воу... Респект...
Победить играя соло некрофила-самоучку - это подвиг. Его и вдвоём сложно угомонить, а соло... Короче, Респект и уважуха...

Well that's proof the Genesis version is not censored, if the Indian Chief flashes his junk when he is hit.
@@stephenhumphrey7935 Your mind's in the gutter, wrong flashing.
I think the sega cd version has that at the end it also has a lot movre voices i think and a blood code

Building a custom arcade cabinet and came across this game by accident after I thought I'd never be able to find the name of it 😊
