Owned one when I was 18 years old. Though only 18 years old I had a really good paying full-time job. It was the same colour as the one in this video. My buddies lusted for Mustangs, but not me. When I saw my Marauder at the dealership it was love at first sight. It was classy, fast, and a great car for smooching at the drive-in (and the mustang wasn't). It was an absolute chick magnet. When I decided to sell it I listed it in the local newspaper. It sold that same evening and the buyer didn't haggle as all I had to say was that others were coming to see it and he was just the first. Man, do I miss that car!

Thank you for sharing those memories! The Marauders are really a great balance of class and performance. We loved having this car at the shop and honestly miss having it here.

Nice car! I was fortunate enough to own a similar 64 Park Lane Marauder from '69-'95. Same engine, but a convertible, white/white with a blue interior and automatic that later swapped for C6. Had it redone in the 80's. Sold it to a fellow who's family still has it. Was a factory built hot rod. Good memories driving that car, especially with the top down.

This car speaks for itself and doesn't really need this promo.
That said the only thing i would change are the wheels.
Somehow they don't work for this car.
Great car with a lot of attitude and roar.❤
    Grtz from Holland.

Excellent car. When I saw where you are located a slight temptation came over me to come out and look at it, I would not be a serious buyer though because I am retired living on social security, but if I had a better economic situation and was a collector it would be a different story.

Thank you! It is a great car and probably one of our favorites in the showroom right now. Even if you are not in the market, if you are in the area, you should come check out the showroom and this Mercury. It's definitely worth seeing in person.

Love the car and engine sound, but couldn’t hear the commentary?

Weird to see a Park Lane with a bench seat. I always thought they had buckets and a console, but this upholstery is definitely Park Lane. That in itself seems to be a rarity. considering the main reason you chose a Park Lane was for its fancy buckets and console.

You're correct. It was extremely rare to see a Parklane with a bench seat. Most of your online vin decoders don't even list it as an option. Just one of the things that made this one so special.

I had a 66 with the bench seat also it just seemed appropriate for a parklane beside great lookes and performance these cars rode beautifully
