One of my dream cars. Just sold my 64 Marauder, looking to get into a 63 Fastback or maybe a convertible this time. Your car has the exact street presence that a 63 was meant for. Wheel/tires are perfect, 427 springs and station wagon springs in the rear are the plans for mine. Also, big fan of your drivetrain. I plan to do a 445 from Survival with a similar cam and edelbrocks with sniper efi. Tko-600 with a 4:10 true-trac. It’s nice to see an almost replica of your dream car before you build it. Anything you regret or you suggest I do different?
Appreciate the comments. The car has been through a few iterations with a mild 390, then the BBM heads and roller cam, and a COM to a T10 and finally the TKO500. I'd say you're on the right track, it's cheaper to just do it the way you want it the first time. I'm building a 462" for it right now to give it a little more power to go with the look. As it sits, car cruises 2200rpm at 70mph and is a great street combo, what you have in mind will do exactly the same with more power.

Thank you! I actually am in VA, car was located in PA at the time we ordered the quarters so I think I mentioned they were shipped there. Love the Merc valve covers as well, I'm trying to find another set.

I'm guessing your buddy blended the fiberglass bubble in to the stock hood? I have a '63 Monterey I was thinking about this type of bubble scoop. Anything to distract from the Breezeway hump in the roof line lol:)
It's actually the same hood as a Galaxie so you can just get one from Crites. There is the additional valance on the front of the Merc that bolts on. You probably noticed, but the doors are kind of the same deal, same doors as a Galaxie with raised body line being a bolt on piece that matches that line on the quarter.
