The new Icon pocket knife at Harbor freight looks interesting. It will be by the Icon tools, not by the other knives. D2 steel, G10 with carbon fiber inlays, and ceramic bearings.
I bought 3 I loved the first one it slipped out of my pocket so I bought one as a stocking stuffer and one for my self. Smooth action tight locking and sharp. Neat looking as well. Has a tendency to catch coins in the pocket so no coins in the pocket you carry it in.
Sorry we didn’t look for that one specifically. It’s a special brand, that’s fine. But HF should really have all the available folding knives together.
The Gordon $9.99 folder is very nice. 8CR13mov with a flipper on bearings. G10 scales, no blade play and great action. After a quick touch up on the Sharpmaker and very sharp.
3cr is Butter knife steel, I think it's in the 300 series of stainless steel which has edge retention of peanut butter. Haven't been to a harbor freight in something like 7 years. Good video guys. Thanks.
I bought one of those wooden chest with the salad tooth mirror and filled it up quick with hardware, clips, bearings and scales ect, pretty well made just not much storage for knives but it does lock if you got kiddos running around … Thanks for the Tour 👍😎
Bought there full size bandsaw over a year ago and it's been great. Says it doesn't cut metal? It cuts metal(3/16" diamond plate anyway lol haven't tried lighter steel yet). Cuts wood all day. Still need to mod the guides for thinner blades though.
The Gordon utility knife locks in two places giving a straight out blade and with the blade at a different angle than the handle. That angled position would be good for cutting stuff like paneling on the floor.
I went to Harbor Freight for the first time last week. They had even less than the store you guys went to. I picked up a Gordon GK 23 for around 10 bucks, which, strangely, doesn't seem to be horrible for the price. I also got lucky and grabbed the last Icon Drop Point that everybody seems to be talking about...It feels well made but seems to be...just OK. I think the Gordon might be the better deal of the two! 😅
I record your videos so I can watch them at a later time when I'm relaxed and I just caught your 5.11 video and went back on you tube and this is the first one that popped up. You must have went straight over to harbor after that, only because I seen Frankie's left braid coming undone again😂!!Or the other way around! Love your videos!!
Yep Harbor Freight cheap knives are not as good as the Walmart $5 Christmas knives. What steel? Why STAINLESS of course. But they are not to bad for $5 beaters. The tanto style plastic sheath knife isn’t bad and they have a flipper with a cross bolt style lock (very very stiff action).
Those apaches are what I have for mine. A big one and a smaller one the size of the orange one Frankie's looking at. Except I think I plucked mine wrong trying to fit too many knives into them! My foams kind of mangled! Tell Frankie to grab that foam!😂
Every Harbor Freight has the same crappy selection of even crappier knives & that's not why I ever go there. It's for the Apachie foam cases and the rolls of foam that I make into my house clothes to replace my pajamas. I just want to don a foam suit and give Frankie a big bear hug while we're at the pool hanging out.
I have two and like them. Action is good and the blade is dead center in the handle. It is a is a better knife than my 30 buck at the time Kershaw, maybe a shuffle.
I bought a Gordon gk23 a few months ago. Still beating it to death. Did a short review on it as well. $10 ain't bad for it. They also have an ICON knife that looks exactly like a Begg Glimpse at my local HF for $39.99. D2 steel and fake crappy carbon fiber looking inlays on the scales. My store literally only has 4 knife models.
The last few years HF has stepped it up in the tool industry. Icon tools, daytona jacks and stands, apache cases, us general boxes, titanium welders. They do have their tools and products that I'd stay away from, but its not the cheap HF that people think of from years ago. Yall missed that Icon knife. Supposedly its a todd begg ripoff, not sure about that. But ive heard its pretty decent for the price especially with a 20% off coupon they come out with sometimes.
harbor freight makes no sense. they will ID you for super glue but not for a machete or the knives lol. might depend on the state but it still makes no sense
My friend and I bought one of those $6.99 machetes and took it to a job we were doing. He tried to cut through some Mullein and on maybe the second or third swing the machete broke in half. It didn't break at the handle, it broke in the middle of the blade. That stuff isn't even as tough as a blackberry vine, I would have done better with karate chops. Awful tool.
Y’all walked right past the new ICON Folding Knife with ceramic bearings!!! Supposed to be a legit copy of someone else’s design, but ya carbon fiber inlays and ceramic bearings if you don’t have it research and give it a review…!
You guys missed the Todd Begg knock off in D2 (not clone) in the ICON tool section, it won't be in the HF knife section. Reviews say it's really pretty decent/good. Maybe next time...
Seems like you would rather shop alone 😢 i saw the look of sadness when you stomped all over her idea at the start, then you can tell but you have to have emotions to tell
Do your knives what you pick buffer as much as your videos if they do go by yourself a Jack the Ripper of knives you want the truth your videos that are on the right person's channel to tell you the truth let's have some decent company
😮always my favorite couple to watch 🎉 having a partner that is into knives must be awesome
At least they had the cheery Christmas music playing to aid in purchasing all the stuff made in the merry old Republic of China 😁👍🤟
I like HF but the fact that everything in the store is made in China is definitely a Bummer.
The new Icon pocket knife at Harbor freight looks interesting. It will be by the Icon tools, not by the other knives. D2 steel, G10 with carbon fiber inlays, and ceramic bearings.
Too bad it is a blatant stolen design.
It's always out of stock. They really need to send more out when launching new Icon products

"It has the edge retention of tin foil." 🤣
3Cr is barely metal. It's like the Whitesnake of knives. You could put it in the microwave without ill effect.
Here I go again…
Lol, Nelson
Yeah, I really like the Apache cases for all my knives.
From the stairs. Hello.
👋👋
I use their Apache cases for knives and flashlights
Do they seal good @ water?
@@DinoNucci never really tested them. I’m guessing they do well
"Sir, I'm alive. It's still alive, ain't it?"
Rambo
rambo knife sighting, must quote.
I have the last wooden chest you looked at. It works well for my regular rotation and I have a couple of the bigger apache cases for the reserve.
Same selection!! Nothings changed in H.F.
the 7cr17mov you said wouldnt have good edge retention tested better than a buck 120 , I believe Peterbilt knife guy did the testing.
👍👍

🤣😂🤣
Walmart is releasing new crossbar locking knives for 2023. Hopefully you guys can pick one or two up like last year.
Filmed yesterday, releasing tonight…
@@BirdShotIV can't wait. My Walmart finally got them in this week so I picked up 2 of the 3 different ones.
I love those Apache cases. I have several of them for my knives, my throwing knives and stars, and my various fishing magnets.
I bought one of those wooden chest with the salad tooth mirror and filled it up quick with hardware, clips, bearings and scales ect, pretty well made just not much storage for knives but it does lock if you got kiddos running around … Thanks for the Tour 👍😎
8:27 the guy at harbor freight literally did this with me. 😂 “I’m like you sure they’re Pelican”
😆😆
The moving blankets are probably the most qaulity item at Harbor Freight.
We have 2-3 from over the years
Bought there full size bandsaw over a year ago and it's been great. Says it doesn't cut metal? It cuts metal(3/16" diamond plate anyway lol haven't tried lighter steel yet). Cuts wood all day.

Love - Honesty - Respect - No Fear - No Hate 💖💖💖
I like “Shopping With Franky “ videos!
LOve you guys to funny.
😆😆👊👊

When are your guys doing the Walmart Christmas knife video..❤ watching them
As a matter of fact, we filmed one yesterday morning 😉😉
I’ve got several Apache cases and use 2 of them for knives

20 minutes later 😆
We have the some stuff here in Abilene TX no knifes just tools
I got one of the toolboxes so I could lock up my knifes from my kids, now I'm wishing I would have gotten a bigger one !
I was there last night and looked really quick. The store was the same.
👍👍
Did they have that Icon knife everybody is talking about?
@@BirdShotIV I didnt see it but i might go back tonight and look.
Walmart Ozark Trail $5-$7 your Harbor Freight is nice lol
New Walmart knife shopping video, releasing today
Yep Harbor Freight cheap knives are not as good as the Walmart $5 Christmas knives. What steel? Why STAINLESS of course. But they are not to bad for $5 beaters. The tanto style plastic sheath knife isn’t bad and they have a flipper with a cross bolt style lock (very very stiff action).

Of course she's going to confuse people! That's what Frankie does. But we still ❤ her.
😍😍
Knife tool chest for Frankie for Christmas! Nope, another pen.🤦♂️🤣
I by the way guys I have that 14.00 knife. And it's pretty good and sharp
The "3cr" stands for .3% by mass carbon content. In comparison, 440a generally has .7% which is comparable to 7cr.
Lowe’s today had one pocket knife. ONE! 🤷🏻♂️
wow 😮
Didn’t see the Icon knife. Probably the best they got 👍
We never found one 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
You should do a collection vid
We’ve done them in years past 😂😂
4:19 that gordon flipper I think has ball bearings, 8cr13mov, G10 (I think) for $10 its supposed to be alright.
I have two and like them. Action is good and the blade is dead center in the handle. It is a is a better knife than my 30 buck at the time Kershaw, maybe a shuffle.
Hey

Those 119 buck ripoffs are actually really good. They come with a real sheath, too.
If harbor freight doesn't get there at together they will soon be the thing of the past
magnacut Garden Gordan lol
Bird shot. Harbor freight needs to up there game on knife s . They need to come out some better knife s
The Todd Begg knockoff is with the Icon tools.
What is a hock bill? You mean hawk bill blade? 😂
harbor freight makes no sense. they will ID you for super glue but not for a machete or the knives lol. might depend on the state but it still makes no sense
Hey long time no see guys!😀
3rd 🥉
Harbor freight has a icon drop point knife with ceramic bearings for 39.99. My son works at ours and bought one he said that they are a great knife.
3cr is equivilant to 420 5cr is 420(j2) 7cr17 is 420hc 8cr is 440a or 440b 9cr is a modified 440c
Soooo weird you did this video. I *just* looked-up knives at Harbor Freight for the first time ever. Crazy Coincidence 🤔😝
No coincidence, just Google 😎
You missed the ICON knife, the one that resembles a mini glimpse Begg knife.
Never saw one

Does Frankie not know this big cabinet drawers close by themselves once they get within a couple inches of being shut?

They are sold out of the Icon copy of the Beggs Mini Glimpse
Never saw one.
The icon knife that came out recently is interesting looking, too bad it's a knock-off of a Todd Begg design
You guys missed the Todd Begg knock off in D2 (not clone) in the ICON tool section, it won't be in the HF knife section. Reviews say it's really pretty decent/good. Maybe next time...
oh no!!
There’s a Todd Begg knockoff there
I didn't see the Icons
