Thanks! I got it from a guy on UA-cam he had a great tutorial basically just heating the pvc and reshaping it until it cools. Be careful once you heat it up once and have to work on the other end of the fitting it will want to return back to its original shape! It’s a little tricky, I found if you put the fitted piece you heated up first and leave it in while you heat up the other end so you don’t keep losing the shape over and over! I already made those mistakes for you! 😂
Hey thank you so much, means a lot to me! I've had a shopping list going on in my head my whole life lol the hardest thing is getting that list in my budget! 🤨
I love the moving blankets to leave in the trunk of my car. Good if you are changing a tire, want to protect something you are moving, or as an emergency blanket.
I laugh at how many people mock HF, yes there are some crap items but they have some great items. I own 2 HVLP purple spray guns and their 2 gun kit that has the primer 2.0 and small detail gun. I have used them all but the detail one countless times and they have worked fantastic, actually going to using the 2.0 one today to spray some vanity doors. They have held up over the 6+ years ai have owned them. I also own 2 warrior heat guns, I feel like I bought the first one on sale for $9.99 but bought second for $14.99. These two have been amazing tools for me and have had the first one for nearly 10 years. Like you I buy the nitrile gloves from them and buy my circ, miter and table saw blades from them. I still like my CMT orange the best but the Hercules and Bauer blades are great bang for buck.
I believe you must be in Palm Springs, CA. I live near Palm Springs, FL. I could really use the 14" Band Saw. Unfortunately, I live near the wrong Palm Springs.
There are a lot of recent bad reviews for the 6 in digital calipers within the last month or so with people saying all in the store had issues and maybe a bad batch on the shelves... recommendation is to try it out in the store before you leave if you decide to get one.
I wasn't aware of this, thanks for bringing me up to speed much appreciated! I've had this one for about 4 years and it works good for me. I do recommend just pop the battery out when not in use will definitely give you better battery life or keep a spare works too. I wonder what was wrong, I'm guessing a bad display reading?

I dont need a ban saw but it is very nice that you are giving it away. Great video and I liked and subscribed. Would be nice if you did a video on mechanic tools from Harbor Freight.
Thank you so much for the kind words. What kind of tools are you thinking about? I like the idea, but I might not do it justice because my mechanic work is very limited. I’ll try most things at least once.
Hi Jimmen, I've used these guns for paint, you have to thin the paint down so much it's a little annoying, but good for small projects a little patience will give you a great finish. Yes for clear and some stains I have sprayed. The stains are nice because no thinning required. For the price they are good little guns. I have a Graco airless I use mainly for the bigger paint jobs, or I just paint by hand.
Harbor Freight has a bad reputation for having “junk” merchandise. Some stuff there isn’t the best, I know that from experience, but a lot of their items are good for your DIYer and their top tier stuff would be fine in a professional setting I feel. Just know the tools limitations and take care of them. I don’t think their reputation is justified and it seems like they are turning out more and more mid to higher end quality tools. Hopefully their bad rap starts to go away.
Donnie you said it perfectly! I think Harbor Freight's name is probably the best it's ever been in my opinion. What do you think? Back when I worked in the trades in the late 80's I never even went into a HF. I think it's a cool store and you already said it, just know your tools and limitations. I agree it's such a great store especially for the beginner and DIYer. Thanks for your input, much appreciated and thanks fore the conversation.
@@BuildwithMooney Honestly, I think a lot it is a "follow the crowd" mentality. I work with people who have never ventured into a HF but ask me why I buy their "junk" 🤔🤣. It's the popular thing to say. And then on the other side of the spectrum, you may have 6'6" dudes that work in a diesel shop complaining that the mid tier Bauer impact isn't up to their expectations. That particular tool isn't really "made for them", you know what I mean? It's geared towards me when I rotate my Jeep tires once a year and put my wife's snow tires on her SUV. Expectations vs limitations should be fairly parallel lines but I think sometimes people's visions cause them to be, say, a little more perpendicular.
@@BuildwithMooney Lol. Have fun.🤣🤣 Have a great rest of the week, I'm about to use some of these "junk" tools to tear out my old deck boards and put down new ones here on my couple days off work.🤣🤣
Americans should do their BEST to avoid buying Harbor Freight products. They are an anti American CCP company and anti firearm company although they sell related safes and such. I am not against the Chinese people just their government which is who you would be supporting. Do you best to support Americans. Thanks.
Hey John, I like your thinking, but reality is that it's hard for people in these trying times and if all someone can afford is Harbor Freight tools, I'm thankful HF is there for anyone who needs it. Let's be real here, very few tools are made in the USA. Companies you think are US a=made are not!
