Hello, I loved your video and everything went well by following your steps, I congratulate you and thank you for the way you explain things. I only have one doubt, I am doing the same thing about three times and the only problem is that when you upload the mesh to SL, the impact on the ground is 18 prims, and not 1 prim, as it happens to you. Would you tell me what am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Thank you for the comment. What you need to make sure is you are joining everything you have created correctly and cutting out the insides of the case correct as this could all have a land impact in second life. For example if you have created one of the holes slightly overlapping or cutting out of the side it could increase prim count alot.

Also if you decided on adding anything or putting maybe a shelf somewhere with just a single cube that would also add to your prim count :)

@@kr4zyh Thank you very much for resonating! I was able to solve it by lowering the scale a bit when raising the mesh to second life, and also lowering the quality in medium and low. But if I put everything to the maximum as you show in your video, the impact exceeded 18 prims. That is the weird thing. I did it about three times and I didn't add anything, it was just like you did. Perhaps the only difference was that I could have made it a little bigger, but when it was uploaded and deployed in SL it didn't seem much bigger than yours.

@@pabloxparkin4321 Ah yes it may be that i did not show when uploading to second life i always have medium and low on the lowest as with it being a small must be close to object you need to be close anyways so only high would make sence. The size would not have mattered in blender due to it only being a whole object in itself. Physics and detail would have been the cause :)

Hey, something I'd LOOOOVE to know is how you get your layout like that, just started editing and my brain hurts from the layout of everything i have, great video however.

I think it mate be the version of blender you are using mate compare my version to yours it should be at the top of blender itself. Then i use the dark theme for my eyes thats really the default layout of my blender version

@@kr4zyh Yeah, i saw that now and i set it up better, thanks for the response.
one problem im having when uploading, parts of my furniture dissapear, like parts of the shelves just vanish, but only like the top part and the bottom part of them is still there, do you know what this is caused by? appreciate all the help.

@@zebastianhallberg1317 can I ask are you using for example 2 cubes or 3 cubes like adding a cube on top of the other etc before manipulation? If this is the case select your main cube /triangle or whatever your using and alt select them 1 by 1 then under prefs press join then it will know everything is created and joined as 1 piece

@@kr4zyh I make the frame for the book shelf, then make a cube for the cutout, then ctrl + d to copy then keep doing that for the cutouts, then I ctrl + j to combine them, but when I go to add shelves to it, it like cuts a part of the shelves off but saves some, only when uploading it to sl, the model looks fine in blender.
