My go to meals especially in the winter (I’m in Minnesota) are soup: minestrone, sausage,kale, gnocchi soup, cheeseburger soup. Also meatloaf, lazy lasagna, pot roast or chicken curry
Have you look at a round 8 seat table. You have the space in the dining room for that. And then a low buffet for the wall on the right as you walk into the room. A really nice big area rug under the table. And a big picture on the wall that currently has your cabinet.

I love the ring camera love the neighborhood watch that tells you when things are happening around the area like break-ins lost pets love, fruitcake my grandmother used to make it every year
TIP for the magnet locks: put a sticker where the magnet goes if you need help remembering where the latch is. But maybe don't do that since you have so many kids over all the time, since that might make them think it's OK to put stickers on everything. My locks are in a different place that's not so prominent and we don't have hardly any people over, so it works for me.

We had breakfast for dinner today. It was lovely. One of our go- to dinners was inspired by You!! I cut up a kielbasa and brown it, then add a few pouches of Madras lentils to the pan. It's a perfect dinner on a cold Wisconsin night. Thanks for the inspiration. Merry Christmas to all of you!!!
You’re not the only one who can’t put away groceries same day you go shopping. I just put the dairy, and frozen bags of veggies away first…but I have forgot to do even that a few times. I leave them all in my covered patio this time of year and plus it’s colder outside than the inside of my fridge. Hahaha.
That dang hawk cracked me up 😂😂 I once rescued one that had been bumped by a car, and I pulled over to check him out. I picked him up and held him the whole 17 miles into town to bring him to the vet, and I was driving a 5 speed one handed and with no seatbelt 🤣 I was terrified the whole time, but all he ever did was held my thumb like a kid and he never even scratched me! He was banded by the wildlife authorities, so I brought him in! He was released a couple days later!

We have been watching birds for several years. We used to joke it’s an old person thing, but it’s pretty fascinating. We live by a wildlife refuge and we get all sorts of birds in our area, including many bald eagles. I think you guys will enjoy it when you get the binoculars. Also invest in a bird book. It’s always fun to identify the birds in your yard!
