I wonder what it says about me, that I came here wanting to find out what a P3 machine was, and subbed and liked at 0:13 because I saw the albums on the wall!
@@BuffaloPinball I'm still on the fence about the P3 but I know who I want to hang out with if I'm ever in Buffalo. Thanks for all the pinball info. I live by the Jersey shore and get spoiled in the summer but winter is like a desert out here. I didn't know about the P3 'til I was looking up some Weird Al stuff.
A very intriguing video it's great to see one of these up a little closer than usual. As a tech I'm certainly interested in looking under the hood to see how Multimorphic do things, especially the ball handing as I just cant get my head around a 99 ball trough 😂 Looking forward to the next P3 video dude
I'd like to see where you want the platform to go in 2021,22,23. . . It is a cool idea but it has to continue to grow. . . Do you believe it is with the current P3??? Do you believe the current version has run its course and it is time for a P4 (a redesign)? As an owner, what do you expect as far as support for your current P3 but also are understanding moving towards the future and trying to acquire additional customers (on what might be a limited platform)?
Changing the apron is a breeze. They should make the slingshot plastics and side art magnetic as well. If they are afraid it would slip, the metallic surface underneath could have a small lip all around the plastic.
The Gentleman! Always providing solid content. I'm intrigued by this system. The price has become very fair. Is there a good place to see future content projects? Do they allow 3rd party developers? Are they committed to any certain number of releases? I suppose with popularity will allow them to make more. Thanks!
They support 3rd party! The more the merrier. That is what is really cool about the system. You and other can continue to create content and games. The are several 3rd party games already out!
$8000 for just the machine then more for each game. Then you have to spend time switching out each game. I cant imagine having people over having a few drinks then you are like hey guys lets spend some time swapping everything over. Then no one really likes that game then you have to swap it back
Do you feel the different available games helps to practice more than if you just had one machine? Mostly want a home machine to be able to practice and get better, this seems like it would help with all the different games.
It definitely gives you a lot of variety in a much smaller space than you'd get with a bunch of different pinball machines. I typically leave one module in until I feel like mixing it up and then swap it out to keep things fresh.
I have 21 apps installed on my P3 (including multiple older versions of some software), and I’ve only used 17% of the available storage - I have 75 gigs free still. So it’ll be good for a LONG time. It’s a standard SSD hard drive in there so you should be able to upgrade it down the line if you really needed to.
Kevin Thanks for video thought about buying a P3 but i am NOT computer savvy. Seems like i kind of need to be??? Is their a lot of updating? Still need a friend to update my sterns! My fear also would be the different games would kind of all play then same Enjoy the holiday weekend Stay safe
Hey Matthew -- I'd say the P3 is in line with other pinball machines in terms of updating/maintenance, so if you need a friend to help with a Stern, you'd need help with this too. The Multimorphic team is great with tech support though! As for the different games, I end up swapping playfields around once a month. A number of the mini games work on any of the playfields so you can easily change between a lot of games without changing any hardware. But when you want to mix it up a bit, dropping a new playfield in is a nice way to keep it fresh.
Great video! I’d be interested to see how the P3 system stacks up to a top of the line virtual 4K pin from someone like PinballKing. That would be a an awesome battle!!
Great job Kevin! I enjoy mine as well!

Nice video. P3 looks very innovative
Coinline Arcade prefers to call the ball trough a "subway system". Imagine all the cool stuff that could do!
What do you want to see in the next P3 video?
Some tips and tricks or hidden features you may have learned to make your time with the P3 multimorphic more fun and enjoyable.

Now to decide what games are leaving to get a P3..
Let me know when you get Cosmic Cart so we can race online :D
@@BuffaloPinball I think Heist and Cosmic Cart are musts to start off with
Those were my first two. Lexy has been a bunch of fun too though.
Will we get to see it play?
Playing it live right now on Twitch :) www.twitch.tv/buffalopinball
How much storage is available to store all the games' software? Is the storage expandable?

@@BuffaloPinball Thanks for reply,
We have a nice 5 pin collection.
Watching your P3 videos is tempting us to find one to play.
enjoy
Upgrades on the P3 are super easy.

These p3 pinball machines are strange tbh! They shouldn't cost anything near the price they charge either,, half of it is a tv screen 😂
