Watch review G-Shock GBA 900, many good things but that negative display sucks...

Many aspects on this one that I really like but that small digi negative display makes it almost unusable...
First G-Shock that I don't love, yikes, what's happening to me!!!

Good video for a Saturday Morning, Like the watch, Love the price point, Agree would not go full price, but them again I did pick up the 'iridescent' GA2100 the other day, It's not legible at all but is fantastic pool side our at a BBQ... any watch over a tenner is fasion 😉 Thanks again!

Some additional thoughts... I find i'm not hung up on the negative displays anymore, I find Casio operates on a sliding scale, from fashion to function.. I do have pure functional Casio's.. excellent readability, but lack fashion, pure tool going on there, My Gravitymaster comes to mind. This watch is more on the fashion scale, Yeah it's got all the G as any other G, but the focus is on fashion, and that's awesome, because the watch looks AWESOME... I mentioned I got the iridescent GA2100, I can't read that watch period... 200m water? check.. readable.. ahh no. Awesome level.. Next Level.. I love it and it's useless if I really need a watch... But that we we keep buying them.. haha.. I'm not knocking fashion or tool, I own and love both, but I have yet to find one that has a crossover... As soon as you go fasion you give up tool, as soon as you go tool, you give up fasion.. I keep looking. Thanks again Time Bomber.. Great stuff per usual... ⌚
I'm going to ammend this, I do have the GST-B400 steel on the strap, That's as close as I can find between tool/fashion.. it's a really really great watch

Reminds me when i got a 5x5 IKEA bookshelf, coming down to 100e (from 250+ or something), just because there was a scratch on the underside of the underside melamine! One of my best buys ever! 😋
Now to this. You're mistaken mate, it's not a watch, it's a balloon used while you go on your speargun fishing, that's that. No need for light, screens or whatever. Thus the colour too, coral they call it usually, matches perfectly the reef's corals. All this is well planed/designed, you get an extra analog watch and you complain?? Half price too??? Cm'on dude, be humble! 😜😂😂

hahaha g'dday Stav and yes ok I'll eat the humble pie even if it is coral flavour LOL but yes that was my dilemma - lot's to like but I gotta be honest the display is pants!! I'll put it up on fleabay this week and will let you know if i can make 10 bucks on it :D

This now has a positive display version, my only complaint on this was the negative display so that's now fixed. They cheaped out on the box (no more metal tin), but at least the watch is good and thats more than enough for me.

Love it, great colour , these G,s sometimes have a mind of their own lol.
Box damage is better than some high street shops send out as new and perfect, had a few from a certain well known jewellers where the box looked like it had been used as a football, always worth complaining as I've had up 25% knocked off
Hahaha yeah i got some lights for the house delivered the other day and the packaging was nothing other than a bin bag... box was totally b***ered 😅😅
The negative display does suck. I just bought the watch your showing and while it looks cool the display and lack of contrast makes the digital features in the watch display practically unreadable unless your viewing it in good light or activate the light within the watch itself. I do not know why Casio keeps making G Shock watches with this kind of display.
hi Jonathan, I did a vid recently on the best selling gshocks of '22 as they had released the data... and neg displays are what people are buying LOL so read into that what you want but I agree with you, I much prefer the legibility over cool factor especially when the digi aperture is so small!!

I have the lime green with white strap version. I thought the battery was dying when I first saw that negative display. Thinking about returning it since it's still within the return window but I really like the looks of it except for the negative display.

The watch looks abit orange under the camera in your video..In person its actually a Merlot red.
