I’ve been listening to PF since 1971. I am 76 years old, 77 next month, and I can remember when this album came out. I was blown away. Never heard such music before. I saw them live twice. In Hamilton Ontario Canada and Syracuse NY, USA. Time flies. I was young and dumb then. Now I am a wise old grandfather of 4. My road ahead is getting shorter and shorter. I can reflect on my life now and I’ve done 100 dumb things but God got me through every one. I thank Him for where I am now in life. Pink Floyd will be played at my funeral. Some things I’ve learned in my travels through life are, be good to people, give them a 2nd chance, help people when you can, be faithful to your spouse and love your family unconditionally. If you’re listening to this music and reading my post, you’re probably a person I would love to know. Maybe we’ll meet on the other side (the good side I hope). Peace out, Tom. P.S. UA-cam "Rumpus Band" then go down to the 5th song. You'll be blown away. A kid band singing Comfortably Numb. I just discovered them.

I understand. I never got to see them live until the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour! It was awesome, but still regretted that I never saw the original lineup play! They played the Animals tour in my city, but I was too young, and really knew nothing about them at the time! I’m retired in Thailand. Audio Engineer. Built Fox Sports, nominated 3 times, one oscar. 100% of my life long love of engineering and music is layed on the doorstep of this album, and more so, this show. I got to work with my heros , the Delicate Production Company, who were responsible for the world renowned band “Supertamp” Nothing like it before or since ☮️
I started listening to PF when I was 9 years old and my older cousin turned me on to them and grass, I am 59 now and will never grow tired of listening to their albums with the live version of Dark Side of the Moon being my favrite of all of them they are a timeless Band and their music will be listened to until the end of time
Talk about having flashbacks... Did a pre-order of the CD due out 3/24/2023. Can't wait. I have been picking up live music from David and Roger the last few years. It was great to see them in concert.
I was. 11 when I first heard them coincidentally in a library in 1975. Back then, people could choose a vinyl record in public libraries, , and there were headphones for everyone and chairs. and I just sat there and heard the great gig in the sky by coincidence. Someone else was listening to the dark side of the moon. When I heard that, I was completely overwhelmed, and Pink Floyd became my favorite music for my entire life. I saw them 1980 in Dortmund, in one of 7 concerts in a row of The Wall. because the show was so big, they choosed the biggest hall in Germany and they only played in that hall. When I look back, all of the bands I saw back then, have been great. The best thing I did when I was a teen. I knew it was the right thing, and today I am glad I saw all of these Bands. Ac DC with bon Scott, van Halen, queen on "the game" tour Nazareth 2 times, Saga, and a lot more. Pink Floyd is the one, I never want to miss. I am glad that I did it.
I was in Prague'94 on PF concert, Division Bell tour, it was amazing, I was 24 years old, now 51 :) and still love David and Pink Floyd, few days ago I was on Australian PF Show - Dark Side of The Moon tour in Wrocław, Poland, concert was fantastic, I was a bit moved when I heard the first sounds...
Thank you for uploading this piece of musical genius. For decades I was in the airline industry, based in the USA. Once I met a pilot, who every time Pink Floyd was on tour, would pick is flight schedule based on the cities PF played in! Now that's a diehard fan! He saw them in concert, all around the world dozens and dozens of times. I wish I could have done that. Amazing band, up there on top. Thank you Pink Floyd for the memories, for being part of my great teenage years moving forward, and for existing during my life time. Julius Caesar, eat your ❤out!!
I was 10+ years old when the album came out. Not sure of my age when I first heard it but I'm sure I was a young teen. Like you, I should have seen them in the late 70s, 80s, and post Waters. Watching this live video in '74 brings me way back. At least I can imagine what it would have been like to see them in concert. Love it!
@@BrianTX409 here me being sad that I wasn't born in the UK instead of Iran and in 50s instead of late 80s, just I could have seen them live again and again and again. I'm so grateful for the little live shows we have, 4-5 of great quality like Delicate sound of thunder, Pulse, Knebworth, Venice and even this one is better the average bootleg. What a precious piece of musical history - ever since the release of Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon I'm hooked to this music and over all the years it remained my favourite band.
I was born in 1974 and I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, my 1st love in music ❤❤❤ and David Gilmour is the reason why I started playing guitar when I was only 7 years old
I bought this album for the song Money. in 1973. I played the whole thing on my 8 track player and didn't know what to make of it? 50 years later it is my favorite of all tle albums.
I bought the album around the same time and still have it. My favorite album? Toss up between that and The Wall. Bought that album in 1980 and still have it.
Happy to come across this, DSOTM is my fav music for chilling and relaxing since 1975, when I first discovered it. I am surprised that I haven't seen this or something similar before. Disappointing that it cuts off after the band starts "Money," their first commercial hit. As Manuol commented, not a true capture of the band playing live either. But still enjoyable! I'm a die-hard Pink Floyd fan. DSOTM will always be the best in my mind. ✌️ Even ordered a T-shirt 👕 this morning, almost that shade of green! DSOTM 4-ever, hell yeah!

Cara, sempre me surpreendo por sempre ser a “novinha” nos bares que tocam tributos ao Pink Floyd. Seria bacana trazerem alguma música do Pink Floyd, tal qual alguns filmes e séries fizeram com Metallica e Led Zeppelin e apresentarem a nova geração
What a wonderful live recording. If the complete gig was recorded and the quality is the same through the whole show it should be released. Great sound.
It has already been released 3 times on the 2CD DSOTM experience edition as a bonus CD, or the DSOTM experience box set or the new DSOTM 50th anniversary box set or the vinyl and CD "Live in Wembley 1974"

Wow thanks to UA-cam and to the uploader, I didn't know there will come a time when I'll have the chance to watch a Pink Floyd concert in the early 70s. This is a gem and should be preserved.
I was in that show. Half of it actually. I went there without a ticket because only black market tickets which were too expensive for me were available. So i just stayed around listening from outside along with a bunch of other guys. Then half the way through the show a kindly man opened a side door and we got inside. There were no seats except for some above the stage and i could hardly see half of it as the PA speaker column hid the right side. But it was much better than nothing.

This is always my favorite Album of All Time!!!!!!! For me can't Never get tried of this album. Love This Album, The Darkside Of The Moon FOREVER!!!!!!!!!:)
I’m retired in Thailand. Audio Engineer. Built Fox Sports, nominated 3 times, one oscar.
100% of my life long love of engineering and music is layed on the doorstep of this album, and more so, this show.
I got to work with my heros , the Delicate Production Company, who were responsible for the world renowned band “Supertamp”
Nothing like it before or since ☮️
I was there! I was 14 at the time. Marvellous.
Me too. I was 17. Unforgettable!
@@jonmccormick602 You're very lucky!!!

I started listening to PF when I was 9 years old and my older cousin turned me on to them and grass, I am 59 now and will never grow tired of listening to their albums with the live version of Dark Side of the Moon being my favrite of all of them they are a timeless Band and their music will be listened to until the end of time
Saw them during this tour in October 1974 in Newcastle . In quad too.
thank you very much for sharing this magical music..👍
Talk about having flashbacks... Did a pre-order of the CD due out 3/24/2023. Can't wait. I have been picking up live music from David and Roger the last few years. It was great to see them in concert.
Probably the greatest arias in rock & roll history & she pulled it off perfectly !
Great to see this early footage. Always gutted we didn't get full concert footage on dvd/blu Ray.
I’m only 24 fucking years old, and Pink Floyd is absolutely fucking incredible.
Glad you are so young but enjoying the best of the best. Cheers from australia
Fuckin A
You have good taste in music, I would say! ❤❤❤❤
The men from the boys.. they always will be..
I remember in my twenties listening to this music again and again. With my friend Dassi, now gone. In Bagur, Spain.
I'm 60. Safe to say best band I've ever listened to :)
Happy 50 Years, Dark Side!!!! with 14 years old, was a Gate to Delirium of my Life, Tks U!!!
I can't get enough of the live. There is so little the group just wasn't big on recording live. Grew up with pink wish I had seen them in concert
I had this tab open a few days ago and I just clicked on it, it reloaded and immediately brought a smile to my face, hearing
@@milads4070 I could have seen them in the U.K. but somehow never got round to it. How dumb is that. Still, gonna check out the videos you recommend. Best wishes.

What a precious piece of musical history - ever since the release of Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon I'm hooked to this music and over all the years it remained my favourite band.
Wow. So long ago. So sublime. So magical. So marvelleous. Old school. Best school. Thanks Pink Floyd for decadas of the best music ever made❤
Che bella Gabriela
I was born in 1974 and I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, my 1st love in music ❤❤❤ and David Gilmour is the reason why I started playing guitar when I was only 7 years old
In 1977 msg July 4th Animals tour- Best live show of my life.
Lovely times ,you bring tomando and heart BLESS YOU GUYS ,Thank you for the many hours of awesome musu
This was the first major concert that I attended. Now I am approaching 70 it still ranks as one of the most memorable ones.
Sem dúvidas vamos escutar por mais 50 anos esse espetacular álbum! Long Live TDSOTM!!!
50 anos é pouco
Это классика! Она вечна!
SUCH FEELING AND MOODS, when PINK FLOYD PLAYS -- YOU ARE PART OF THEIR TIMELESS MUSIC!
My dad has been a fan of Pink Floyd for years, and he's NEVER been to a concert! I'll be sure to show this to him - thanks for uploading this!
Is that the count?
Happy to come across this, DSOTM is my fav music for chilling and relaxing since 1975, when I first discovered it. I am surprised that I haven't seen this or something similar before. Disappointing that it cuts off after the band starts "Money," their first commercial hit. As Manuol commented, not a true capture of the band playing live either. But still enjoyable! I'm a die-hard Pink Floyd fan. DSOTM will always be the best in my mind. ✌️ Even ordered a T-shirt 👕 this morning, almost that shade of green! DSOTM 4-ever, hell yeah!
Obra-prima irretocável do Pink Floyd. O melhor disco deles. Gosto de todos, mas esse é inigualável.
I was 14 When i discovered This album and band. It was in 1994 . Now i am 44. Still got shivers.
Uma verdadeira obra prima da musica. Um registro histórico da maior banda de todos os tempos.
In a few months time this vid will be 50yrs old. Man dosent that make some of you feel your age, lol. Pink Floyd are eternal, this vid proves it, damn good upload Emile. ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

Seria bacana trazerem alguma música do Pink Floyd, tal qual alguns filmes e séries fizeram com Metallica e Led Zeppelin e apresentarem a nova geração
Best !!!❤❤❤
Fabulous and fantastic, thanks for posting them. Good time for you. Enjoy life with Pink Floyd.
Thank you very much !
Man , this is a fucking piece of music’s soul …. Thank you for sharing man, i love you
sometimes i like to imagine if pink floyd had performed in MSG in ‘73 with led zeppelin. what the footage could’ve been like
I was at MSG to see left Zeppelin all 3 nights.they opened with Rock and Roll
Zeppelin plays alone
Wow thanks to UA-cam and to the uploader, I didn't know there will come a time when I'll have the chance to watch a Pink Floyd concert in the early 70s. This is a gem and should be preserved.
Pink Floyd At Pompeii (1972) is a must have 😊

Every night ended with echoes in the 8-track player
I'm 65 and still doing it!✌️
Beautiful audio, historical! Also the images are very good.

First heard this when I was 15 smoked my first joint and laid back with headphones on listening to this album, nice little trip.
Sem dúvida, depois da música clássica dos mestres de época, o rock clássico
das grandes bandas c/ músicas de nível, jamais será esquecida.
The lyrics to all the songs are absolute poetry! Music is otherworldly!🌒⏰️
Wish to the Lord above I would have had a seat, somewhere in that audience. Much love from North Carolina.🌹
I did 😊
Great Sound Quality.❤
Musical geniuses... 1974 many years ahead of time...
Just happy to hear that lady who sings backup I think it's the song Us and Them she said either God is looking down and smiling on her or the devil is looking up and smiling at her she never heard of Pink Floyd or anyting just at the right place at the right time unbelievable God bless you all thank you very much Pink Floyd I've enjoyed your music since I was a teenager I'm 61 now guys peace and love you all Rock on
Someone once asked my wife how we got through our childhood. "Well," she replied, "we had Pink Floyd."
Something tells me your wife is pretty damn cool.
I was at one of these shows in 74. I went on the Saturday night and they opened with"Raving and Drooling" the precursor to "Sheep".
So glad this moment of history was documented - I was at the Cow Palace CA part of this tour - highly anticipated tour from an insanely great album. I admit I was stoned out of my gord, but it was amazing - and top it off with Echos as an encore? Mind blown
I saw this concert Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon " @ Roosevelt Stadium New Jersey 1973 on 4 hits of LSD , floated away in a big bubble to the Monument in Washington D.C. best concert of my 65 years on Earth ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The Rock Doktor
