at least, you managed to see a few drivers like yuki tsonoda, zhou guanyu and valterri bottas physically on track! the most exciting part is there will be more overtaking after the additional drag reduction system (DRS) zone along Raffles Avenue since last year's removal of the floating stadium for the NS Square project, making Singapore have 4 DRS zones alongside Melbourne's Albert Park in Australia. the other 3 DRS zones are located along Raffles Boulevard (main overtaking zone), Esplanade Bridge and main pit straight.
I was told that 2 more drivers appeared after I left. They were interviewed by the media at the Pit area. Hamilton, you are very knowledgeable in a wide range of topics. Glad that you watch and contribute ideas for me to improve.
Your video camera captures every bit of this special pre-race event, from the drivers to the cars, the Pit lane and the exhilaration of the people gathered there.✨ This is exciting valuable footage that we don’t normally get to see! Yosh and Iku
It was a fun experience to squeeze through the crowd to get close up look of the various garages. There's a Japanese driver, Yuki Tsunoda. Hope he does well. I will go over to the Marina Bay Circuit today to enjoy the vibes from outside. The ticket prices are very expensive as they raise prices every year. I'll consider buying a walkabout ticket if they have last minute sale tomorrow (final) night.
I didn't know that so many young people were fans of F1. The bad organisation was a surprise, as I thought that everything in Singapore ran like clockwork. It's good that you are a patient man, or we would not have seen this video!
Only the queue organisation was bad. The rest were excellent and will run like clockwork. This was the closest that one could get to the race cars. It was a good experience for me.
I was fascinated by GP races at Upper Thompson Circuit when I was young. F1 brings back memories of my childhood. So I try my best to share my F1 experiences with everyone. Cheers brother!
This is a free event by F1 Singapore. Application was opened in August and balloting done in September. Someone passed a ticket to me as she couldn't attend. I was lucky to receive it. Glad you like the video. Thanks Salim.
Nice video. May I know what is the cost to explore the pitlane experience. I'm thinking to explore and walk in the race track of 4.8 km may be next year
The Pit Lane Experience is a free event. You need to ballot for the tickets. Online applications was held in August and lucky ones were allocated 2 tickets each in September. 4,500 tickets were issued in total. It is not possible to walk on the race track this year as the security is tight. Every entrance is guarded and you will be shoo'ed away. However, you would be able to walk besides the race track behind the fences a day before the races. Also, on the final night, after the fireworks and prize presentations, the track gates are open for the grandstand and walkabout spectators to walk on the race track towards the Padang for the concert.
@@azzzrie You might want to walk around Suntec & Marina Square area to enjoy the vibes. Hearing the engine noise nearby is a wonderful experience itself. At 2nd floor of Marina Square, you can see 2 sides of the tracks - facing Millenia Walk and facing the Esplanade.
I know of 3 spots on the 2nd floor of Marina Square - overlooking 1) Millenia Walk 2) Esplanade and 3) Suntec Convention Hall. I have yet to explore other areas. You will see cars zooming by, but you will remain blur as sotong because you won't know who is who. It's very exciting and gets your adrenalin pumping. Do check out the F1 website for timing of the different races. There are many races - Porsche, F1 Academy and F1 races.

Yes Kenzo, visiting the pit areas was a fun experience. Walking on the race track was memorable too.

Crazily crowded.
Yes it was. 4,500 free tickets were issued. They should issue fewer tickets to allow people to enjoy the visit comfortably.
