    There’s something about Brian Cranston that reminds me a little of Phil Hartman, not so much personality wise, but I feel like the two look really similar and have fairly similar voices.

      I'm not even kidding, I'd say Phil's wife saw these sketches and got hella jealous. Ironically , Despite wanting to be an actor herself , she probably couldnt recognise this as simply acting and that the girls were hitting on her husband. Total nutbar as Dana carvey would say haha

    Out of all the people who did an impression of Clinton, Phil Hartman was always my favorite. I can remember watching these when they first aired. I always loved how he made Clinton out to be some wild and sex crazy guy. That was always hilarious to me.

      The Clintons have always had a business relationship. Hillary was enjoying her women while Bill was having his way with many. She only got upset because he was, too often, indiscreet.
      Bill isn’t even Chelsea’s biological father and he has always known that, too. Bill and Hill are, in reality, evil, soulless, morally corrupt individuals.

    This was the best 6 minutes of my day. (Albeit my life isn't too eventful lately.) Knowing already how amazing Phil Hartman is I'm still blown away every time I go back to one of his performances. From the moment of "I get knocked down!", I was screeching in laughter. My God this man was a beast. So sorely missed.
    I tend to get annoyed with people who go on about how "90s was the best, the good ol' days!", but while watching this I couldn't help yearn for those days.

    I was too busy faithfully tuning in to Dave's show on CBS to enjoy this. LOL. Jay was great! He worked hard at it every night and was a terrific business person as well.

      @@johnsjohnson448 But NBC created a major rival by giving Leno the Tonight Show and forcing Dave to CBS. If they had given Letterman the Tonight Show there would be no Late Show on CBS. Leno didn't haven anywhere near the name recognition that Dave had at that time and there was no way Leno would have had anywhere near The Late Show's success if he had left NBC and created his own rival talk show.
      One of the dumbest decisions in TV history not giving Tonight Show to Dave. While Leno won the ratings against Letterman the Late Show still attracted a lot of advertising. That meant less $ for NBC.

    Love Leno and Phil!
    My humble opinion is that ML did NOT deserve being dragged through the coals like she was and is. She was a puppy and that was a man in power. He took advantage of her and her position. Clinton has always been characterized as charismatic and charming. He continued to be revered (by many) and that woman was torn down in a horrible way. For this alone, I hope karma gets this man.

      Bill Clinton got caught doing something bad, & then was caught lying about it to the American people. He should have been impeached, & the general public should have been more outraged than they were. This skit was just part of a larger attempt by the media to soften up public perception on the matter through comedy. To make it seem like no big deal, & make Bill seem like a loveable cad rather than the lying pervert he is.
