@@agentorange8530 I have an I/O board which I plan to wire up for component to use with a crt, but haven't wired it up yet. But it does fit an I/O board and a 128mb ram chip. It won't fit with the usb board but I'm using my own usb hub that fits in the side.
Great job bro...it's like having a neo geo arcade cabinet at home! Like you said, neo geo home console was super expensive back in the day. I recently got a f300 so I've had a resurgence playing street fighter iv and mortal kombat 9. It makes such a difference...i can't believe how good it is for $50. I will probably mod it with sanwa somewhere down the line.
You are the man Sean..this and the previous video with the 1650 ti is exactly the answers I needed for emulation questions..now will you be testing just neo geo or different emulators? Also are you using an external harddrive or something for launchbox? Thanks again and keep up the great content
Thanks for watching ✌️ I’m running this off a 1TB internal SSD, luckily the roms don’t take up a lot of space. I’m not using a full mame set. I’ll be checking out Neo Geo as well as other arcade ROMs as well as some current gen fighting games on Steam
Hello very nice work ! Wonferful i saw your video for change my buttons and joystick, excellent ! Do you think it’s possible to have your custom artwork in pdf or jpg ? I’love it ! Thank again and very nice work !
They use to be. Omron Corporation out of China makes a lot of stuff for Sanwa Denshi Ltd. now. The quality from Omron has gotten better but it's still not as good as what comes out of the Sanwa factory. Unfortunately the products that come out of the Sanwa factory are pretty much all slated for Japanese market only. The Omron microswitches are garbage compared to the original Sanwa, Happ, or Cherry(ZF) microswitches. The best source fore real Sanwa buttons is an unmodified unrestored all original Street Fighter cabinet. Even the new units have Japanese market Sanwa parts. I have heard that the Mayflash F500 Elite uses Sanwa Denshi parts but I cannot confirm that. I dont have one but look at the box. If it says made in Japan then it probably does.
I got the F500 template here: support.focusattack.com/hc/en-us/articles/207447753-Control-Panel-Templates My file with the Neo Geo art is pretty large and is in Illustrator CC format, but if people want it I may be able to try uploading it somewhere (Actually it’s 2 files I think, I have illustrator stuff linked to the .psd template)
@@TechWithSeanhey Sean, I just used your Amazon links. Thank you for showing how to make this awesome MVS stick. Please please would you share the artwork? I really love the design you did.
@@TechWithSean I was wrong about the hayabusa parts. They suck. I currently own a Hori RAP N Hayabusa arcade stick controller and the hayabusa joystick lever is extremely loose and the hayabusa buttons are oversensitive.
Such a huge collection behind you... Wow. FOUR mini consoles ? Did you start to get interested in "retro" gaming 2 years ago? And playing on a LCD screen... OMG... Super hardcore indeed. Please never watch a video from Smokemonster on a PVM, you might have an heart attack... Or not even understand what is going on, which is most likely.
You’ve obviously not watched my channel 🤷♂️ I have a KD34XBR960 that I’ve done a video about. I also have a KV27FS120 for SD stuff and an NEC 19” CRT pc monitor
No Sean is a great guy and is very sincere in what he puts out. That is why he has the number of followers that he has. You Tube will pay him squat for the time he spends doing these videos so the least we can do is be courteous to him.
Thanks for this Sean!! You convinced me twice to purchase the F500V2
Looks great! I also created a MVS NEO GEO v500 stick and it's cool to see what others have done.
That MVS theme is sweet. I'm gonna have to do that too for my MiSTer setup.
I've actually built my mister into a mayflash f500 internally. Just enough room on the inside. The MVS look would make it that much better though.
@@DevinTheDude93 That's pretty cool. Does it fit a three board MiSTer?

@@DevinTheDude93 ah, yeah I guess you can just use a different USB hub that doesn't attach on.
The neo geo print turned out amazing!
Thanks! I was pretty excited to see how clean it looked once I popped the acrylic back over it.
I just bought everything on Amazon! Can’t wait. Would you by any chance be able to share the artwork? 😀

Nice job! I wanna mod my Mayflash F300 with Sanwa or Simetsu parts and maybe figure out how to put my own artwork on it.
great video!!
Hello, could you please share info on where you bought the bat top?
1st video where i seen someone replacing the 24 mm start button
I’d like to purchase a copy of the neo geo artwork if you still have it somewhere. It looks very neat!
I’m trying to get my first fight stick and want to customise it I like yours a lot can I get the photo and what paper normal
are they clicking or not clicking buttons? i'm searching for clicking buttons, but i m only found not-clicking sanwa buttons..thhanks!
Thanks for the video.
My natural position to play would be holding it on top of my legs.
How do you see it like this? Would it be too heavy?
Thanks so much 👍🏽

Nice can't wait for part 2 that's awesome
The template is for the old F500 (not for V2) so the LEDs at the top don't match, it's probably better to just remove them before printing.
Is there enough room for Industrias Lorenzo PSL-H concave button? 57,5 mm internal space needed
hi sean, I wanted to make my own custom printable F500 art too, what size do I need to make the art to fit?

Neo Geo, huh? Well, Neo Geo uses Seimitsu LS-32 and Seimitsu buttons...
Where can I find some artwork like that?
is there anyway we can get that template?

dont work fine with sega genesis mini. im tried
I would swap out the sanwa buttons for hayabusa buttons because sanwa buttons are oversensitive.
I like the light tap of sanwas (especially in shmups) but that’s the beauty of custom sticks - you can make em however you like!
