A lot of great ideas that I'm going use.I wish you were my neighbor here in Wi., instead of Michigan, so I could run over and get your opinion on what I plan on doing. I also love the porch lights, where did you get them from ? Also, how long is your truck box, it looks like it's 78 inches, the same as mine.
Sir thanks for the detailed electrical plan! I keep looking at videos like yours and thunk about finally building another camper versus the toppers i have built in the past. This winter may be the right time for me. Greatly appreciate you breaking up your build into several segments!
@ 6:00- Why pay to stay at a campground when you built a "camper" ? I've hiked camped peed and pooped all over the west but where's a campground when you need one but don't have a camper anyway. Do they ask "why are you here?"
Thank You for the detailed video of the electrical. Do you know about how many watts of power you are able to input into the Bluetti from the 12v of your truck?
Not many. About 30. I was driving 14 hours a day so it wasn’t a problem. If I was only driving for a little bit I’d either need a campground with AC or I’d need to buy solar panels.
The answer is look at your truck not his. My last 2 Escalades were 60a. Oddly an Escalade is an anomoly, I can only pull a light toy hauler but have 60a! Some 3/4 ton only have 40a. "Towing" packages are higher as evidenced by a 6 or 7 pin. Mine is 7 pin~ which gets you trailer braking. Most trucks these days offer 7 pin but just 40a. My new Lade was $167k and change and carry a quality low db gen/ inverter which easily powers ac air. RV air all seem rated needing 3500w. There are endless RV power blogs.
Fantastic video!!
Glad you liked it!

Nope. No one at the CAMPGROUND asked why I was there with a CAMPER. Too weird. I was surprised too.

Talk to a good mechanic, he may be able to change your alternater to a higher output one, and run a separate, larger😅 wire back for charging.
