That level where Ryu couldn't figure out where to go....that was the literal end of Mario...he got a sneak peek at the conclusion of the Mario franchise, at the very end of Mario's long journey, there is no flag pole, no castle, no axe, no Princess Peach...it's just a dead end. Sorry t bring that level of depression down on you all but it's the truth. Mario's entire existence was all for a dead end.
