I had a level with like a 1% clear rate but it was in the Easy category, the whole purpose of it was to have people let a saw kill them over and over at the start, but have the goal right there to collect, to hopefully give Super Expert players a freebie. It didn't work, still rated easy despite the low clear rate from intentional deaths.
Ryu, I lost my grandpa a few weeks ago, and it hit me harder than I thought it would. Your videos were the only thing I watched for entertainment for a week probably. Just wanted to say thanks for them. This challenge is my favorite that you've done. Im glad you got to beat it before the servers go offline.
One thing I love about the easy, medium, and hard levels is that so many of them have heart. Even if it's kind of goofy, there's some idea or goal behind it. Like the "punishment of mario" or the out of tune mario maker theme. lol. They're really cute.
I get the feeling he absolutely despises midairs to the point its not worth making himself miserable over it. There's been a few levels he's gone back to that he spent considerable time on, however I think those still had some aspects he found enjoyable such as precision.

Just saying there's no way he's gonna put himself through that. He could easily dump hundreds of hours into something like that before winning. But yeah, it's hilarious to troll him about it!😂

This is by far my favorite challenge. Such a treat that you only do it about once a year. The selfish part of me wishes this could replace the expert deathless challenge. Some of those runs make me feel dead on the inside. Thanks for the great content!

Hey man I just wanted to say thank you for the past 8 years of my life. I've always loved your Super Mario content. It's sad that it's an end of an era but all good things must come to an end. Hopefully SMM2 can bring us just as much joy as SMM.
I've been doing one of two on Mario Maker 2 - either the 20 level challenge where you do 5 levels from each difficulty and start with 100 lives where 1ups mean nothing, or the 10 level challenge with 4 Easy, 3 Normal, 2 Expert, and 1 Super Expert starting with 1 life with 1ups that carry over. I normally prefer the 10 level one since it is quicker with my shorter sessions.
How's this for an idea for mixing it up. A similar run as this, where the goal is to go through all levels of difficulty. However, you start with 100 lives on Easy, BUT at the end of each difficulty level, however many lives you have is how many you subtract from your 100 at the start of the next difficulty level. So in a way losing lives has a benefit to a degree while gaining lives has a draw back down the road...So if you finish easy with 90 lives, you lose 90 lives at the start of Normal. Then say you lose 3 lives in normal, so on hard you only lose 3 lives at the start, then say you finish hard with 50 lives, so in expert you lose 50 at the start. Makes your life count more unpredictable. You can get more lives to help extend the current difficulty run, but doing so will cost you more lives in the next difficulty...
Seeing you trying to do the One Life Expert Challenge, we all know how much of a gamble Expert can be. Spend 45 minutes on one level just to see hot garbage instadeath in the next. Awesome to see you knock out this challenge before the end of SMM1.

For anyone who doesn't get the R.kelly level, he peed on a little girl, that's the private dance and what the coin shower represented and then he went to jail and lots of people wanted to free r.kelly although my information source is the boondocks xD
Just remember, Toad was honest in easy mode. After seeing Marios sadness he took the special Princess Mushroom, all toads can become Peaches look alike.
