Hi There. Apologies for taking so long to reply. My schedule of late has been hectic and wasn't sure about the retroarch folder to be honest. I don't own one of these yet but from what other reviewers are saying you definitely need to copy the Bios files, if you already have bios files on the stock SD you can copy from there if not you will have to obtain them (unfortuntaley can't tell you where for legal reasons). Joey over at Joey's Retro handhelds has a much more in depth guide if you want to go and check it out at this link: ua-cam.com/video/KCk9OwqN930/v-deo.html. Hope that helps.

Hey, just coming here to say that you're videos are quite good!
I wouldn't say they are the best of the quality, but they are honest opinions, and it's really hard to find some without being too biased towards certain stuff. Really good job!
I am looking for getting a trimui for 60€ with the 256gb card. I think it's a good deal for a linux device to mess around with!
I do wonder one thing tho.
    Can it run different emulators?
For example, could it run switch games that are really not demanding? Like shovel knight etc? Or other 2d stuff with no 3d rendering.
And can it even run actual linux distros?

Hi There. Thanks for the compliment and the feedback. Working on getting better with every video so watch this space. Looking to get on camera one day soon aswell so hopefully that will ad a bit to the expereince.
Unfortunatley i doubt the Smart Pro can run anything newer than PSP emulation even lightweight 2d games. The minimum requirements for PS2 emulation far exceeds what the smart pro has available hardware wize. Not too mention the software compatibility of the emulators with the firmware. Switch emulation is even more demanding so i don't think it would run. I could be wrong as i don't know everything but i looked around and i could not find any references to someone having succesfully done this.
I do think however that it should be possible to get some lightweight linux distro's to run on the device as the stock firmware is linux based. Maybe something like Ubuntu Mate? Once again could not find any reference to anyone who has tried this so you it would be an expeirment if you do. Just make sure your research it up first, wouldn't want you to brick your device somehow as this is unexplored teritory to me so i would not be able to tell you how.

@@TheTechUpdate-ui1fh i see i see, well i probably won't try that yet, i think i will send you more info when i try certain stuff... I think honestly it could run some really light weight wii or wii ware games (Example, GNOMZ)

@@M.N.9 I think it may be possible to run some Wii light games if the emulator can work on the device. You are welcome to send info at any time. I enjoy discussing and debating this kind of thing😁👍

Considering the stock memory card went corrupted after 24 hours and seeing there was nothing i could do about it on the system itself. Couldn't even look at the files if i wanted too because no file app. I would say its a def a install. Not only that, if you mess up retroarch by tinkering with the settings. You get locked out. The crossmix has a separate retroarch app so you can fix unintentional saves. Lastly. Updates. Crossmix can do it off the system. Stock you have to DL and put on a memory card yourself. Pain in the ass. Just DL crossmix.

Sounds like very valid reasons to Install Crossmix. Didn't know you get locked out if you mess up Retro arch you get locked out. Thanks for the feedback!
