My man said video was coming and he delivered. It looks awesome and makes me just a bit jelly.
I'll try to keep it consistent. Shooting a lot of houses for sale and wedding videos. Will have a bunch of videos from our huge trip coming up! Thanks for watching!
Clean WJ bro, your build is inspirational
Thanks for watching! Can't wait to get some off road footage with it!
Very inspiring video, makes me want to keep my wj more instead of giving up on it! Love your build!
Thanks for watching! Keep it!
Looking great guys, am looking forward to the trip and videos to come.
Thanks for watching! We are so excited for the trip!
There's a aftermarket transmission pan that fits the 42re transmission on these. 3qt more capacity, cooling fins and best of all is a drain plug. Would definitely suggest looking into it
Im glad you have her man. No one else would want it.
It is looking Fabulous! Those tires look so nice when driving, have a safe trip guys.
Thanks for watching!
what size are tyres and what year is car?
This man is winning at life
Pasta
Great video man! Pumped to see all the shenanigans you guys get up to on this trip.
Thanks for watching! Super excited! This will be our 3rd year going, but our first time with a rig and going to Moab
Love your build bro!!! I have an 04 overland that has been outstanding for years now. Gunmetal grey is the best!!!🤘🤘🤘
Had almost the same one when I was younger super nice same color limited 70k miles I lifted it it was sick. Sold it. Then like a month ago bought the same thing limited same color with 30k miles. I’m pumped!
Very nice rig.
I drilled some holes in the bottom of my Bigfoot tent and used some long, but small M6? x 1.00? bolts to bolt it down to the longitudinal rails of my XJ using the same holes that hold the rails down. I eliminated the cross bars.
I am not sure if it was a good idea or not, but it has survived two road trips totaling something like 4,000 miles now.
I did it to keep the center of gravity as low as possible, and to ensure that it fits into my garage with my 3.5" of lift and 33's.
It's nice to not have to pack away a wet tent, and I can set it up and be snoozing in about four minutes.
Sick ride
Saw your rig yesterday (5.28) by the interstate. Not many built WJs up here & I'd just seen your post on the Natural State Overland FB group about the RTT the day before. Looking sharp!
I Love your Jeep :)
Thanks for watching!
Dude the quality on this channel is one of the best I've seen among all! Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching! More on the way!
Ok
Jeep rates it's roof rails at 75kg max load. A series of recent videos by a couple of Aussie 4wd'ers shows just how important it is to stick to those recommendations.
Tent weighs 120lb. Way under. Thanks!
@@OverlandingOzarks and what do you guys weigh... the 75kg is jeeps recommended dynamic and static max load. So unless you both weigh 21kg combined...?!
@@benbirch2393 nobody cares bro- stfu
OK, so mounting the tent on the roof rack may be fine, although what holds the roof rack rails to the jeep is merely 5 nutserts with 6mm screws in each with absolutely zero reinforcement in the roof of the jeep, I own 2 wj jeeps and have found spider cracks in the roof body metal, I have since reinforced and replaced all the nutserts
The jeep is looking great .you have a link for the roof top tent ?
Thank you! We got ours used on Facebook marketplace, but this is the link for new ones www.bigfoottents.com
I'm in the market for a WJ, but with no time or mechanical skills, it's likely to cost me a fortune in replacing, reebuilding and reparing parts, without thinking of a very humble 4x4 upgrade. It seems like a money pit. Although I'd have to get a 2.7 diesel due to living in Europe, what are the typical things you need to factor in? Have a great trip with your lovely GF !
Can’t wait for you guys to sleep in your new rooftop tent get those upgrades done and get on the road. Good luck on the upgrades and transmission leak! 🏔
Thanks for watching! It's my daily and the leak is right where the exhaust is, so I put some stop leak stuff in and it actually worked right after this video! Still going to pull and do the seals when I swap the transfer cases, but pretty happy that it stopped the leak so that I can drive it until this weekend!
Hey brother beautiful build. I live in Centerton and I was wondering if you know of any trustworthy mechanic shops for my WJ?
What size u bolts you find works best with the stock rack?
Did the stock rack.hold that rtt
What size lift do you have? What brand? I have a 2004 WJ getting ready to work on.
I have a 04 overland looking for hardshell. What make and model is it?
what lift and what tires you running ??
Yeah,
but what brand is the tent?
Axles and gear ratios ? Thanks in advance
What brand tent is that
Salve passando pra deixar aquele like e inscrição tmj forte abraço Rio de Janeiro / BRASIL
hi, what is your tent size please? thanks a lot
🔥🔥🔥🔥👌👌😁
Thanks for watching!
Sheeesh
I have one issue with this....we didn't get to see the tent. should do a video showing inside and then just have a voice over explaining it.
what year is that jeep?
I dont know the exact year of his Jeep but I believe it's a 99 to 04
I would paint the tent! The off white looks out of place. Nice rig though ☺️👍.
Open the rear hatch- just to show that you can't open it up fully.
Oh hey- it's okay... if you're a dwarf!
Not gonna lie, she made me click the vid.
Can you link your ig?
@OverlandingOzarks
You are very lucky to have a skinny wife.

We love our 00 WJ too,
Clayton 7+/-", ARB lockers, 35's, 12 hole injectors, LS throttle body, 08 intake, 11 blade explorer fan, Yada Yada... We're out of Sacramento CA
Definitely need a roof tent, although it'll probably be on a trailer...

Do NOT cut the fenders!!!!
