At The Roots Picnic, hip-hop and R&B stars take center stage at the Mann Center in Philadelphia’s West Fairmount Park. The major music event has become a Philly summertime tradition - something of an annual reunion, really - and features performances from some of the biggest names in music. Curated by and named after Philadelphia’s own critically acclaimed band The Roots, this is one music fest not to be missed. For the 2024 festival - set to take place on June 1 and 2, 2024 - attendees can look forward to headline performances from Philly icon Jill Scott, the incomparable Lil Wayne and ’90s rap royalty Nas.
