People don't know how much that bill he championed helped Italian and Irish Americans as well as Appalachians as a whole. I thank him for what he's done for us all and he never forgot us. I wish he was still here.
We know how much it helped others and not us. Just like all the white movements. They all turned their backs when it was our turn. Integration killed 70% of black businesses. King realized about a couple of years before his murder that he'd possibly led his people into a burning house.

Even a rare few Indians admit it is so racist. But since I was born and grew up in a part of America that didn't have many African American citizens I didn't learn about the racism and civil rights til later in my life. Then I thought about my experiences in India, and well, I consider it a lesson from God to learn what oppression and discrimination and prejudice actually look and FEEL like .
In one speech MLK says one has to be willing to be killed for a cause.
❤❤❤😮😮😊😊
Thank you for uploading this.

martin luther the world needs people like you. nelson Mandela can you imagine if we had leaders like them
Malcolm too
What?
Why does this line of thinking sound like a sorry excuse?
Why do people think the great leaders of the past would want to be forgotten by the woeful pity party of "they're gone"...
People don't hesitate to stand up and out for the victims of Hitler's ugly creepy violent theory do they? No... They act as if he were still persecuting innocent people. We don't tolerate many things that history has proven to be BAD, but we don't push forward the righteous ways of the GOOD leaders...
Isn't that twisted?
We take religion to be IRRELIGION. And IRRELIGION to be religion.
🙄✔️🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️
So glad to be able to hear the voice of the late Great Dr. Martin Luther King. He speaks so eloquently and his mind is solid. He had a great understanding of the situation we were facing and tried his best to make equality a reality for our culture. I appreciate all the speeches left behind to guide us into this new world. Things have not change much be I'm sure his work will be the seed needed to proceed.
At the end of both Malcolm and Martin they’re believes were the same how much we still need them today
Each one, be one....
How difficult is it to live the way these men proposed? Why abandon their ideas when only their physical body has been transferred to a different place? I don't get this ...
It’s sad that I wasn’t born when he spoke these words and they still remain Powerful and true!
We have become so complacent! You had a dream for all people! God bless you always, for your words and not off the media!!! But of heart and truth! RIP my mentor truth and peace
Precisely. Why worry about a white Jesus in Church if we’re the ones getting shot and bombed there anyway?🤦🏽♂️
How far time has passed and how little has changed for the better, things have only gotten worse. There is much work to do
This is as relevant today as it was back then.
Worse now we never learn from our wise leaders 😥😭😡
Thanks for this. Excellent.
Its so sad. That all you would have to do is change the date and this speech could be spoken today.
Awesome point!
And it would be condemned as social justice and identity politics.

Ya know, I'm a 53 year old white male in the USA and how I wish MLK was here in these apocalyptic days. Everyone in this country could use a presence/great mind such as his right now.
They won't listen to the great minds we have today, so they wouldn't hear MLK either.
The presence of MLK is RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW! Why do we not get that?
I am here on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. God bless everyone. Remember. We are not going back. 20Jan2025🙏💞💞💞

What a classic!
Definitely. no doubt. sadly America has regressed as a nation. Black & Brown trying 2 progress and the gate keeper keep holding us black.
@ frfr I hate whenever we talk about our struggle mfs always wanna mention Brown people who never mention us in none of there struggles. Til this day the Black man don't think we alone can make a change. Look at the Hebrew camps they yelling Israel is Black then turn around and say the Black, Latino and natives Americans make up the 12 tribes of Israel. SMH to scared to stand alone.
@ I'm brown dude. Born here, my family from Virginia. Family given a name and brown skin there. I resent what u wrote, no what u thinking. I fought in the service, picketed in union activity, a panther in Oakland. What u think u've done for the struggle. Police ever knocked any of your teeth out, or bust u upside your head fighting 4the people? Negro, dead word which applies 2u, please. Make me want 2cuss
And Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves.
The fact that evil forces saw fit to destroy this great man, tells us that we must continue the fight and not just with marching but with education, discipline and spirituality.
Must continue the fight!!
Dr. King was a Peaceful Warrior. He was a great. great Minister, Activist, excellent Speaker and educated every race with his great information regarding all people. He was so brilliant. Dr. King, even now we continue to be victimized in the and out of the streets. I hope, you are resting well. I love you !
