    I loved the light... it helped save on my electric bill. I didn't have to turn on any extra lights in the room. Agree, need a Full spectrum of red, white & blue lights, however, the watts of the Bounty Elite is 50W, and only the Farm models are 60W... but anything less than the Bounty Elite is much less watts. Takes longer to grow i think.

      No kidding, it really does light up a whole room 😂 but yes, the bright light is what helps the plants to grow well.

    I purchased a bunch of mylar emegerncy blankets. I cut out a skirt to go around the unit. You can still see in but it reflects most of the light back in so its not so bright.

    Great videos. Learning a lot. How do I reset the system for Model 800302? I need to reset so the light is on, like you, during the night / early morning. Thank you!

      I don't have that model so I'm not sure, but many of the models with no menu screen are based on when the unit gets plugged in. So to reset the on time, just unplug and replug it at whatever time you want it to come on.
      Hope this helps, thanks for watching 😊🌱

    I enjoy your explanation, can you cover the farm version as the controls are little more complicated

    • @InTheGarden
      @InTheGarden  2 роки тому +1

      I don't currently have the farm version, but when I get it I will be sure to do a full series on it as well 😊🌱

    Will you address the height of the lights; should they be closer to the pods in the beginning?

    • @InTheGarden
      @InTheGarden  2 роки тому +2

      At the beginning keep the light all the way down as close to the pods as possible. As the plants grow, move the light up so that it is just above the plants. Close to, but not touching the tops of the plants.
      Hope this helps 😊🌱

    I started mine on boxing day, and I agree the light is super bright. All pods sprouted with at least two plants (3 or 4 for basil), but only with 1 dill.

      Thats great! my dill actually has a few, but one of the basil only has one. my parsley is so small compared to the rest though, I'll probably have to do some major pruning of the others so I can make sure it's getting enough light.
