Seeing how Trainee A received so many xenophobic comments makes me wonder how NCT Hollywood is going to be accepted by the Korean population and I wonder if they will be the kind of group that gets more international fans than Korean Fans.
I'm just asking because I don't know...that song Leo sang, does it ruin his whole future of becoming an idol? I mean he did make a grave mistake but can he not get a second chance if he seriously apologises to everybody? I just felt like one single mistake can destroy our whole life, it was suffocating for me. Sorry if this question disturbed you.
This is just how it is in the kpop industry, people always see the bright side of it but forgets how suffocating it can be to idols to always maintain their perfect state to avoid these type of things to happen.Furthermore leo is just a trainee, not debuted, it's just making it worse.
Speaking for myself only, I do feel the diversity was a big contributing factor for this team to not push forward. I can understand BH's hope for a global appeal, but this is still KPOP and first and foremost, it needs to appeal to the Korean market. I can't really think of a single group that hit big globally without domestic success first. Unfortunately it seems this line up does not appeal to the Korean market. I feel adjustments to the lineup may improve things; also training together doesn't always guarantee they'll debut in the same group. Given how this combination isn't well received, I wonder if Hype would end up splitting them up (in different groups I mean).
They never fit bh tbh. You need to have certain attitude as artist and a person to meet bh standards. They were good dancers and tiktokers but nothing more.

But newjeans was in the same situation, about diversity, but they were so acepted in Korean. I really don't know if this is really the reason.
