I just found that this tv can detect and play 4K video from a pen drive. All you have to do is format the pen drive from the TV and with this you can use the pen drive (usb 2.0 or 3.0) to transfer video or movies from a PC and play on this TV. I use a pen drive 128GB usb 3.0 only for play movies and works for this TV TCL and Samsung

With an old, cheap UHD tv I had no problem discovering and playing UHD content from 2 T HDD. Now I can't even browse 16 GB stick. So... ANY suggestions here?

So quick format under WIN - FAT32 and it's good to go. Actually I did the format under WIN XP (don't ask) I hade to get some files from a really old PC. And it's actually working! I know it's sounds strange but I set Macintosh it doesn't. AND try to change partition mapping GID for example.
How do you reposition a subtitles from media player? because the subtitles are positioned at the center of the screen it's annoying I want to place it below

Share your files from your other device and scan for local networks with X-plore. Click the gears for show/hide files and types. You can view FTP, LAN, Web storage, Cloud, DLNA, local files... A program called Handbreak can hard burn the subtitles. You have to have the .srt file (subtitle). Then remux the file to a new movie.
