Kraig, I dunno why I haven’t commented about this in the past but honestly since finding your channel a couple years ago your videos have become my immediate go to when I’m having a bad day with my anxiety. Watching a video will literally completely calm me down and bring me into the present. They have all been such a gift to watch. Thank you for helping me with improving my mental health.

WOW 3:13 - That is the shot! I can see how some would hate the chain length rails because it takes the natural beauty away but at least the NPS installs them and invites you to go that way. Many public land management areas would sign that area asking you to stay off the rocks. Great video, as always :)

I only went there once, but I highly recommend taking the very first shuttle of the day into the canyon. I was the only person on top of angels landing for a solid 20 mins. Didn't see anyone until I was on my way back down and people were just starting to hike up. Worth it. By the time I got back down to the shuttle area I looked back up and saw how many people were up there. And by 9am, forget it. Absolute shit show from 9am-3pm. People were literally waiting in line to access the chains. Screw that!

I was also up on the Angels Landing in October 2018. Fantastic viewpoint. When we were up there, it was even more crowded with people than in your video. On the ridge there was sometimes a jam and you had to wait. Some people were also afraid of heights and therefore stayed at the viewpoint in front of the ridge. I can only underline your advice to be there very early to avoid the masses.
