This is a video that's spot-on the money, and long overdue. I have the Solus and Modus (both Edges) in my shop, both on 17.4. I had them both updated to 17.4 at the same time... and what a waste of money. The change was hardly noticeable on the Solus because it was fairly new and went from 17.2 to 17.4. But, when the Modus went from 16.2 to 17.4, it was like someone flipped the "SLOW" switch on. If I had it to do over I definitely would buy into another platform (probably an OTC Encore) for the same amount of money. Back in the days of the original Snap-On Modis, they did provide quite a few additional features with every update. Today you get the "Apple Enhancement" for your almost $1,000... which gets you nothing more than an incentive to buy the new model.
Thanks for the heads up! Harley... I know right!? Missing VW & Audi engine data for some vehicles, so you have to go into OBD Generic, missing component tests / info... yet Harley makes it into the mix. They've had 10+ years (for some of those vehicles) to get the info & put it in the tool.

Thinks I like about my verus... Attached labscope. Usually fast pids. Graphing is the best I seen so far. (want a autel to compare) Some tests work way better on American vehicles. But 60-75% of the time I grab my max go. Next scan tool will be an autel. I would recommend people buy a used verus only for some scope. Things like basic quick tests. And volt meter. Other than that they aren't worth more then 4500 let alone the 7-12k u pay new.
I have an Autel, OTC, and just got my hands on a Modis Edge 18.4. Honestly, im not impressed with it. Both of the other scanners are easier to use and have a function viewer option, where you can see all available functions for the vehicle. Snap On has everything so spread out it takes forever to learn. Good video man.

First! Anyway you can adjust the touch sensitivity. Talk with your dealer about it. There was more added than you think. In 2018 with the right to repair memorandum they've added quite a bit. It would be nice if Snap On wouldn't invalidate my warranty on my Zeus if I upgraded the memory but being I had the extended warranty with updates as part of the Zeus package basically I can't improve the speed of my tool just by upgrading the memory, not the hard drive as 60gb is plenty with the SSD drive if you use it as intended and not a personal computer watching movies, doing social media, etc With that being said have you upgraded or checked if it could be upgraded if you're out of warranty? Memory upgrades speed things up. Also if the scan tool don't have a SSD hard drive ( no moving parts and easy to switch to with cloning software that's legal) I'd highly recommend it as you have no moving parts in a SSD allowing for more rugged work environment and less prone to hard drive failures.
I updated my verus edge awhile ago to 18.4 never had any issues with my update. As far as the touch screen issues use the stylus and it's more responsive. I was thinking about updating my Solus this month, not going to do it now, I think you're right about them trying to get you into the Zues, mine is trying to get me into the Apollo D8, at about $7k with trade, nope not going to do it!! Thanks for sharing!!
Isn’t 18.4 the last update for versus? Ir you think Verus is expensive, wait until you have to buy the Zeus. On the UA-cam channels I watch, there seems to be a trend to move away from SnapOn to Autel and OTC. Thank you for sharing.
So what are you planning for the next Scanner? Launch? I bought a Autel 808 recently and sent right back because the first day the 3 cars i was working on, the scanner would not do what i needed. VW i take runner adaption. Scan ABS and Trans on a Acura and “change tire size” on my GMC Canyon. It didn’t do any of those things. Ended up buying a used Solus Edge 17.4, it works decent but is by no means equal to a factory scanner.
This is why I'm looking at getting into a different scan tool, currently own an ethos pro and it will be the last scan tool I own from snap on. I've had nothing but problems with it since the day I bought it. The 18.4 update is useless to me does nothing more then the previous update. Looking into matco scan tools and the autell scan tool
Great comment, my mechanic's Edge just started to act up the Vci no longer connects to the main unit, and he paid big $$$ for it. As an IT tech I find this equipment familiar with some of the equipment I work on, so I'm going to help him ensure proper software updates are current with the equipment and then the Vci in that order. I notice a 20.2 update has anyone tried it as of yet with sucess? And what is the latest update for this unit? Also, my mechanic's equip is running Win 7 as the underlying operating system which is a joke, will double check hardware requirements for a possible Win 10 upgrade. Did you decide on another tool, if so let us know how it worked out?
Talk to their tech support. I believe the 18.4 update patches to windows 7 instead of having windows xp in background. Friend has a Verus and he did a full hard reset and its lighting fast. My Solus with 18.4 is better than it was with 18.2 especially 17.4. But the Solus and Apollo have same hardware, cpu, memory, ssd, etc. Wish you could have had a vehicle that duplicated the issue for all too see. Someone mentioned Autel, I like them because cheap prices but everything they do is hacked software and they don't even hide it. In fact they have been sued multiple times for copying code and lost.
Autel hasn't actually lost a case yet. The Ford case was dismissed last year and the one GM brought is still in the courts. Ford just opened a similar lawsuit against Launch.
That first screen is annoying but my Verus edge didn’t slow down any. Or I can’t really notice it. Now i bought the Zues couple months ago and that really sucks in my opinion
I hear you. I purchased a BK8500 bore scope for 600.00 on ebay; it is like new, no problems (they are about 1300.00 new). It is fun to use and save images...... but, It has the same characteristics that you are experiencing: delayed response time; can't tell if the touch screen is responding; have to "start over" and try to get where your going several times. Multiple presses of the same key etc. Now I know why it was sold.......I'm surprised the Mechanic didn't throw it against the wall! Granted, its not a several thousand dollar scanner, but all those symptoms are the same!! They need to get out of the hardware game (use a apple I-pad) and download their software onto hardware that is proven.
Just my thought but seems like many independent shops either have junk diagnostic equipment or none at all making technicians supply their own. Really puts them at a disadvantage because cost is a deterrent
bottom lines its the customers fault cause they keep on buying snap on scanners the day these auto techs wise up snap will either wise up or go out of business.
i like the video i just want to buy snap on tool diagnose and you help me a lot coz snap on thick-skinned just promise a lot and give a shit ,people like you are angel for another
Ok so admittedly I don't know anything about this but it runs on an operating system so while the Snap on software may be at fault the os itself may need some maintenance. Os updates, cleaning registry of junk files defragging might help a little.
DOYLECLEVERLOBE1 good idea but you can’t update the os. It’s a special embedded version and they disabled Windows Update. I’ve tried manually doing updates and there’s just no way.
I havent had any trouble with my update but there is a setting for touch screen calibration mabey that would help. Now my is the solus edge so it may be different.
As you know I watch a lot of automotive channels. A few of the guys just pay for a new tool (Autel) because the updates are so expensive it's only a few hundred more to buy a new tool with a two year subscription built in (in some cases). I hope you get that one figured out Mike. It's crazy to put up with that.
That's what I do. I gave up on Snappy because the updates and pricing are getting way out of hand. That and in many cases the Autel does things that the SO just won't do...
My snap on had me chasing my tail for a little bit today. Had sensors dropping out. After verifying with a scope at the ecm nothing was actually dropping out and Barrow a Autel form a co worker and scan data was now matching the scope
Its the Matco hat causing the virus in the conduit. Its funny because my SnapOn guy keeps pressing me to update and have been hesitant. Even offering a free year, I think Ill stick with 15.4 as I don't deal with many cars newer than 2015. thanks for the upload and input.
I bet this is them trying to sell the subscription updates instead of bi annual, this is clearly filled with bugs that they can fix with a mid update in between 18.4 and 19.2
Have you updated the pass trough check for firmware updates on the lower r/h corner you have to connect the pass through with a usb lead, check it out there has been issues with this if you downloaded through shop screen connect
Thanks for the advice.. can ask you do you have to go to 18.4 from a lower program say 17.4 or can you wait till let say 20.4 for example and pay for that one and it will cover everything in between , meaning the 18.4 , 19.4 for example etc . .or snap on don’t let you do that ? Thanks please let me know.
Jacob Haas for you meaning you don’t want to spend the money. Because I have an elite which is only comparable model to the edge. I paid 3k for new edge with 18.4 and I need both scanners neither one does it all.
@@1998gst4611 sometimes you have to the Autel ultra is 5k. With newer models if you don’t have special function, coding, & bi direction you’re not going to make it
I also have the Verus edge the screen annoys me also. I noticed my machine being slower too. Especially trying to connect to the dongle. My phone can connect to my car radio as soon as I get around my vehicle this shouldn't take that long. I'm ready to trade for an autel.
Friday we used our snap on modis edge to reset the tire size and fried The Gauge cluster needless to say the shop owner that was using it at the time was pissed
F-ing Snap-On has been pissing me off to no end with this crap! I completely agree with you and they can go fly a kite, I'm not paying $15k for the Zeus either! I miss my Modis Edge and i'm NEVER buying Snap-On again until they unf!@# themselves and start pulling their head out of their ass!
They want you to get the Zeus. My Snap On guy asks me to buy the Zeus every 2 months. AND, the Harley update was great, BUT, you have to buy the Harley dongles at $700+. Keep going Mike!
Im concerned about this too as i have a verus pro...ive seen some videos of guys having an ssd installed on the verus pro and its faster than the zeus. Im considering doing that
Sounds like the same broken promises of what the scan tool should do but doesn’t. Had the same issues back in the day with my old snap on brick. Somethings i guess don’t change.
Agree with your video.Snap on tools are great but scan tools are way over priced and don’t work very well for the money or name you are buying. Zeus is a huge over priced tablet. I have heard time after time this subscription and the price of Zeus is just not technician friendly. If you want to zoos you might as well buy the factory tool in paid for that subscription. In my shop we all have factory ScanTools because we are re-fleet shop that works on GM and ford.Even with that price you pay for the update you’re still one year behind. Makes no sense.
Here is my 508us$ worth my snap on guy updated my verdict on 8th october 2018 with 18.2 and never told me about the 18.4 but took my money its cheaper to buy snap on tools on ebay than in new zealand yet I bought the verdict from him i'm not a happy chappy i'm throwing my toys out of the cot followed by the nappy so watch out
Thanks for the review. You saved me some coin. I bet it’s do to the hardware not having enough horsepower for the new software. This happens every time. Your right about snappy trying to get us to upgrade. They could make the software work better on the older hardware but no. Look at this shiny new scanner. Look how much faster and pretty it is. Oh it’s only 16k.
I updated my Zeus and honestly thought it sped it up a little, don’t get me wrong I still have many annoying crashes that I was hoping was going to be fixed with this release. I am also disappointed with the overall speed of the machine, (even changed settings from battery econo mode, to giver’ mode!)watching other users use the verus pro looks like it runs very fast and flawless, still tring to justify I needed it every time I use it
you would think that you pay thousands and thousands of dollars and the scanner doesn't like it should, seems like snap on just will take your money, but won't build a reliable product.
Few things about this video besides the fact Snap isn’t selling anymore new edge . “Zeus is the new way” supposedly 1. You need 18 unless you work on 18 cars, if you don’t need it don’t upgrade. 2. I have a an Autel Elite, and it can’t do it all ...you really need both. 3. The Verus edge is no longer for sale . I got a new Verus edge for 3k which I think is cheap I paid 2500 for my Elite with J box..I have a pico don’t need lab. How many people buy Apple iPhones for a grand and they work like shit after updates, millions do and they buy the next one me included. Tech gets old this scanner is 3 years old what do you expect. The price is high too because Snap On can’t steal programs like Autel can, they have to pay the car company’s for the info. I have Autel I could care less that they steal it however that’s why Snap On is so high it’s royalties. Buying a used Zeus is dicey because the plans are pre paid etc. we’ll have to wait and see what the fate of Snap On is soon. If a guy owns a Harley and wants to work on it then he’s stuck. All this stuff is relative to the user
One of the problems is snap on runs Windows 7 embedded meaning it's snap-on's version of Windows 7 and it's on a 32-bit platform when everything else out there in the industry computer wise away from Automotive butt and windows is running on a 64-bit platform. I went in and looked in my Zeus after making my other comment earlier and there's only two gigabyte of memory in there and it has a 60 GB SSD hard drive. Of that 2 gigabyte of memory only 1.89 of it is usable because the system reserves the other .12 for system resources. I think it's hogwash that even though we bought the tool and Snap-on has us under the extended contract which includes a warranty that they wont allow us to update the memory even though we bought the tool. If I could throw two sticks of memory in that machine I will pull the original one and put 2 8GB sticks in it or 2 6 Gigabytes sticks and it would be a screaming machine. Just in case anybody wants to know I found out after I bought mine by looking at the box that the Zeus is everything that the verus is except for it's a different name Tool and it runs the same platform and everything I have a sticker I can post if somebody wants to see the picture of what I'm talking about sometime. Basically if you order a part for a Zeus off of the Snap-on website look at the verus part and it's probably the same exact part number. One thing did change for sure and that was the compact scan module which if you lose one it will set you back about $1,800. Now as far as the intelligent Diagnostics it's pretty damn slick if you ask me especially if you have a vehicle that comes in that doesn't give you a lot to go on code or data wise. It will take the code and pull only data relevant to the code up for the intelligent Diagnostics if anything is out of spec in the sensors or readings from modules as we all know we always wonder what the spec is for XYZ sensor or sensors. The intelligent Diagnostics part of it actually pulls up that invalid data in red and the Machine actually beeps at you to let you know hey these couple things are out of spec and it gives you a little bit of direction especially if you've got multiple things you're trying to deal with. I am no expert mechanic by any means as a matter of fact I would say I am learning as I've always been. It does help with the flow when diagnosing issues. It may help some people more than it helps others. I like having the component tester built-in as well because that helps give me a little bit more sense of direction and give me some Hands-On methodology for testing so I'm not having all ways to run and look up stuff. Now if you have the tool and you have all data it has that incorporated right in there where you can go right into all data which is a neat feature as I'm sure the verus scan tool has that as well? Now knowing what I know now versus what I knew before I bought the tool if I was presented with the opportunity to buy this tool again or keep my Modis Edge I probably would have kept my Modis Edge and bought an OTC scan tool such as Eric uses on South Main Auto. I like that with the built-in wiring diagrams that come with the tool and from what I understood I don't believe you have to pay extra to get them meaning that they are part of the package from the get-go. A lot of the year 2018 updates have been centered around the right to repair memorandum which gives you functions and abilities to work on even the newer of the newest vehicles 4 say they are out of warranty as there's always some that are out of warranty due to being a Rebuilder or something like that. But if you think even a 2015 or 2014 vehicle had advanced Collision systems on them which allow you to communicate with that according to the video releases they did. If people want to know what they did and what the releases came out with for the year 2018 go look right on the Snap-on website at their video ception. I meant to say Snap-on UA-cam video section and look for the videos about the releases and you will understand what they did and what they allow you to do. I've rambled on long enough it's time for a nap. I can say I do like all of the bi-directional capability that the scan tool has and I like the component tester which I feel is spot-on and definitely helps a guy like me who doesn't do a lot but does it enough that he has to reference back to test and certain things here and there
It's made it slower because they probably dumb a huge amount of data and that kills the memory and storage of the unit. They maxed it out so the memory is maxed out. That's what happens when manufacturers try to be cheap and not given you enough memory for future upgrades. You would think the geniuses at Snap-On would test it up first before releasing it to the public. Instead they make the users of their devices as involuntary beta testers so they don't have to hire any tester.
Mike, Did u know that Harbor Freight just came out with a 8 inch bi directional android based scanner by Zurich? Claims it beats the snap on Solus edge 😂
I am very sad that you have paid for an update that do not make your device faster. I run into that problem before and I am still angry. I understand you a lot. Snap-on is making a lot of good tools but scanner become obsolete fast....
Here in the UK 18.2 is a pretty good update, most functions work, my verus edgs is fairly fast. Saw the 18.4 list but apart from ADAS work (which on some cars alignment boards are required, don't think snap on wheel alignment has these plates yet) there is not much added, maybe a couple of bits but nothing that inspired me. I'll stick with 18.2 as it works, thanks for the video.
I stop paying for snap on updates because is a rip-off, all they give you is patches for their errors on the software that you already pay for! Why the tool get slower, well because their hardware was made for windows XP so is obsolete! Their scan module hasn't change in 10 years. My friend stop paying for that and get your self an Autel. It comes with 2 years updates and warranty for 3K you spend that on Snap on updates "patches".
i have a autel also and i love it i got mine with1 yr free update. ive already used it but im paying for future updates people at my job havent even heard of autel lol
Sorry to say but snap on was taking a nosedive on all there Scantools capabilities for a while now but people are simply just addicted to compromise , it can't be for the PRICE A ???
touch screens use capacitive touch meaning your finger has to be clean so wear gloves when you wrench.. then take them off to use... clean your screen that will clear alot of issues up
That is the main reason i don't buy snap on scanners. Too pricey for updates compared to most other scanners and way too slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. All that being said i do like some of the features i have seen on these scanners.
Snap-On Rep here I’m sorry your having difficulties with your scanner but our engineers have been working on the fix and their response is SUCKS TO BE YOU NERD!!...
first clean your screen with iso alcohol and a microfiber cloth your dirty hands and calus finger tips wont let the current flow though the sscreen so wash your hands use gloves ive been a tech 25 years and i have got good hands you old school guys like mee needed to learn from the git go not to work without gloves.. save your hands use ear protection etc...
Snap-on scan tools are a rip-off I have a Alltel scanner that does much more key programming and much more calibration stuff that Snap-on doesn't even offer for that amount of 2
Must just be a flook. Surely the guys that wrote the software would test it first. Probably a poor internet connection? You are going to ruin the screen from being mad and wish for a new tool😁
Snap on thinks these auto techicians are stupid that they can't think for themselves. wise up guys snap is just greedy making these scanner look nice, but aren't reliable.
Pay big money now its slower ?
You know what that means?
New scanner on the way from snap-on
Interesting thought...we'll see.
There's already a new one out

I bought a Autel 808 recently and sent right back because the first day the 3 cars i was working on, the scanner would not do what i needed. VW i take runner adaption. Scan ABS and Trans on a Acura and “change tire size” on my GMC Canyon. It didn’t do any of those things. Ended up buying a used Solus Edge 17.4, it works decent but is by no means equal to a factory scanner.
Watch next Wednesday's video to find out😉
This is why I'm looking at getting into a different scan tool, currently own an ethos pro and it will be the last scan tool I own from snap on.
Intel Giveth and Snap-on Taketh Away.
@@Blazer02LS well as of 2018 the right to repair law is helping them. Don't help that they keep getting sued though lol.
Wow this get me alittle worried ... thx for the heads up.
How much did it cost for the update?
bottom lines its the customers fault cause they keep on buying snap on scanners the day these auto techs wise up snap will either wise up or go out of business.
I have the souls edge and the touch screen actually works better had a issue at first with the new screen protector but took it off flawless
i like the video i just want to buy snap on tool diagnose and you help me a lot coz snap on thick-skinned just promise a lot and give a shit ,people like you are angel for another
Ok so admittedly I don't know anything about this but it runs on an operating system so while the Snap on software may be at fault the os itself may need some maintenance.
Thats very slow you're not gonna be a flat rate master with that
As you know I watch a lot of automotive channels.
Not a fan on the last update on the solus.
Matco just released their maximus 3.0 might be worth a look
Its the Matco hat causing the virus in the conduit. Its funny because my SnapOn guy keeps pressing me to update and have been hesitant. Even offering a free year, I think Ill stick with 15.4 as I don't deal with many cars newer than 2015. thanks for the upload and input.
make them take it back
I, personally am really tired of Strap-On diagnostics
I bet this is them trying to sell the subscription updates instead of bi annual, this is clearly filled with bugs that they can fix with a mid update in between 18.4 and 19.2
Have you updated the pass trough check for firmware updates on the lower r/h corner you have to connect the pass through with a usb lead, check it out there has been issues with this if you downloaded through shop screen connect
It has been updated
Leave the 18.4 on the truck. Grab the Autel.
Mark Hetzer you need both anyway to fill gaps
Thanks for the advice.. can ask you do you have to go to 18.4 from a lower program say 17.4 or can you wait till let say 20.4 for example and pay for that one and it will cover everything in between , meaning the 18.4 , 19.4 for example etc . .or snap on don’t let you do that ? Thanks please let me know.
😲😲😮😳 The Snapon Deboggle that’s Why I Went With The Competition
This scanners are not only Slow but Super expensive and they're becoming Obsolete because the parts are NO longer Available!
Did u update the wireless module too?
Never buying a snap on scanner, my autel does everything and then some for me.
Jacob Haas for you meaning you don’t want to spend the money. Because I have an elite which is only comparable model to the edge. I paid 3k for new edge with 18.4 and I need both scanners neither one does it all.
@@weldingjunkie Why would you have to expensive scanners sounds like a waste of money to me?
@@1998gst4611 sometimes you have to the Autel ultra is 5k. With newer models if you don’t have special function, coding, & bi direction you’re not going to make it
I’m on the monthly program for updates and hate that screen as well, told my dealer am I 10 and need to be told what to do. It’s like a cartoon!
The Zeus scan tool has that prompt screen also.
I also have the Verus edge the screen annoys me also. I noticed my machine being slower too. Especially trying to connect to the dongle. My phone can connect to my car radio as soon as I get around my vehicle this shouldn't take that long. I'm ready to trade for an autel.
I am also considering purchasing a Autel as a secondary though
I wish I didn't update mine 3 weeks ago and man it's slow
A usb adapter for the dongle and a smartphone app should be enough to fully diagnose a car.
Right to repair is a real issue in our world.
I just picked up a modis edge 18.4 works great so far fast to
Friday we used our snap on modis edge to reset the tire size and fried The Gauge cluster needless to say the shop owner that was using it at the time was pissed
I’m so glad you said dongle 👍🏻
F-ing Snap-On has been pissing me off to no end with this crap! I completely agree with you and they can go fly a kite, I'm not paying $15k for the Zeus either! I miss my Modis Edge and i'm NEVER buying Snap-On again until they unf!@# themselves and start pulling their head out of their ass!
They want you to get the Zeus. My Snap On guy asks me to buy the Zeus every 2 months. AND, the Harley update was great, BUT, you have to buy the Harley dongles at $700+. Keep going Mike!
More code to process on the same older hardware. It is having to work harder to perform the same functions.
Great to know Mike
Hey flat master the I update 19.2 it is junk and you lose one icon I get to ready to sell it I also have a autell
So what one scanner would you buy to work on all vehicles?
None of them cover everything. You really need multiple units unless you only work on a single brand, then buy the OEM tool.
All this stuff is relative to the user
throw it as long as you are not happy with it
One of the problems is snap on runs Windows 7 embedded meaning it's snap-on's version of Windows 7 and it's on a 32-bit platform when everything else out there in the industry computer wise away from Automotive butt and windows is running on a 64-bit platform.
Claims it beats the snap on Solus edge 😂
lol
Now this sounds like a great topic review for FM. And if it sucks, HF will take it back.
if snap on doesn't giet their chit together soon, they'll be out of business soon like Sears and Roebuck.
I have an Autel, but I also have a new one coming, too, really the update was more for videos planned that for me
Normally when there’s an update they should tell you what has changed. Is there no log?
i have a autel also and i love it i got mine with1 yr free update. ive already used it but im paying for future updates people at my job havent even heard of autel lol
FishFind3000 that’s not true there is a listing of what it does
Sorry to say but snap on was taking a nosedive on all there Scantools capabilities for a while now but people are simply just addicted to compromise , it can't be for the PRICE A ???
Great video. Now even tools you relied on in the past are turning into well let's just be nice and say junk. 👍
What kind of crappy overpriced update is that, psssh.
Yep😡🤬🤬🤬🤬
how much pay for update?
1295.99
@@flatratemasterWhaaaaaaaaat?
Sound like the boys at Snap On were playing with their dongles a bit too much when they coded this version🤣
this dude spends his hard earned money on this shit. id sell that thing
touch screens use capacitive touch meaning your finger has to be clean so wear gloves when you wrench.. then take them off to use... clean your screen that will clear alot of issues up
That is the main reason i don't buy snap on scanners.
Too pricey for updates compared to most other scanners and way too slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
All that being said i do like some of the features i have seen on these scanners.
Shitty update I agree...what about all the
They been dropping the ball way to much.
I want you to go buy a Zeus do it now!
Buy a autel elite than you will never user snap on anymore
Why people like to pay more to have less
I own 2 Autels, a mini and a Pro
My Red Brick Still works. I Love TBI Chevy Pick ups.
You can apply the emergency brake by blocking the tire with it.
Snap-On Rep here I’m sorry your having difficulties with your scanner but our engineers have been working on the fix and their response is SUCKS TO BE YOU NERD!!...
dumbing it down ...
first clean your screen with iso alcohol and a microfiber cloth your dirty hands and calus finger tips wont let the current flow though the sscreen so wash your hands use gloves ive been a tech 25 years and i have got good hands you old school guys like mee needed to learn from the git go not to work without gloves.. save your hands use ear protection etc...
Looks like SnapOn cough on to Apples scheme
Snap-on scan tools are a rip-off I have a Alltel scanner that does much more key programming and much more calibration stuff that Snap-on doesn't even offer for that amount of 2
snap on was god for wrench but diagnostic is just korean company ,,sun,, and is crap Irecomendet bosch esi tronic or for budget autel
Hey snap on claim it will program 80& of keys
