Nvidia code 43 which says windows has stopped this device because it has reported problem (code 43) occurred due to malfunction in the drivers present in your windows 10. code 43 may be caused due to default downloading of graphic card drivers directly through windows update. I used the DDU method and it appears to have worked. My device status in the device manager is good and i now have the option to roll back drivers whereas previously I did not. Hopefully this fixes the issue permanently. I am on rtx 3070 I will update if something else happens, this seems to be a common issue for nvidia cards so we should help each other. THank you
update my gpu rtx 3070 is still messed up. returning code 43 after a few minutes of use and making the screen black. i will continue to look into this problem on my own and update here for anyone who cannot find a solution

Hello, i have still an issue. i have 10 nvidia gpus and they worked fine for over a year. recently im getting a windows crash due to 'nvlddmkm' crash. why is that? i tried bios flashing, ddu, driver reinstall.
Pls comment when you fix yours, i have exactly the same problem on my laptop

@@mohito9155 no, honestly i tried everything from updating drivers to reinstalling windows to updating bios but nothing, I've somewhat given up at this point

@@mohito9155 i also think that's the issue, a friend dropped the laptop and it went off, the power button is side mounted and it got damaged so i had to connect the pins on the power board to start it, it came on and i noticed game performance drop after a few days, and when I checked the device manager, the Nvidia graphics card had issues, code 43

This problem occurred to me while uninstalling lively wallpaper app for desktop.
I followed every step. While installing the driver, my screen goes rough like an old tv screen that has no signals. And the drivers are installed but the error remains. What am I doing wrong? What should I do?

I uninstalled device and drivers using device manager, then couldnt install drivers from nvidia site because it said gpu is not detected. Will using DDU really make a difference or its just the same thing
Ddu is different as it will clear all the local files also.. this is clean install
