Thank you but the steps in the video didnt work for my experience. What I tried is: For Laptop/Desktop 1.- uninstall the driver. 2.- download the lastest version of drivers and disable the connection to the internet. 3.- install the driver (lastest) (still not connected to internet) 4.- once the driver is installed, still show the error 43, you need to disable the device. (in device manager) 5.- shut down your laptop/desktop. 6.- remove the power cord. 7.- uscrew the lower cover, and remove the battery. 8.- remove the BIOS battery. 9.- Press the power button for 1 minute (without connect any power) 10.- Install batteries, close cover and reboot the system. 11.- Once windows is running again, enable the graphics card again Worked for me following in that order
Sometimes it's a hardware issue. Try changing out your thermal paste and or make sure you clean it out so it's free of dust. Make sure the fan is working properly and make sure everything is plugged in including the PCI power and the gpu into the motherboard. If you've tried all of these things and it's still not working, I would suspect the card is almost dead or dead
Before you do any of this, CHECK YOUR CONNECTIONS. Even if you swore you had it all the way plugged in. I literally just barely pushed on my 6 pin connection and it immediately worked. Most of the time this is the issue!!
My card is randomly shows artifacts and when i check in device manager it shows error 43..sometime carcard works for 5 hours but sometime it shows artifacts randomly after 1 hour

I have *New* Fix :- 1) Uninstall PhysX , Geforce experiences & Driver 2) Uninstall the graphic card from Device Manager under Display section. Also check the remove software check box 3) then you will find other section in the device manager and 3d display card. Something like this 4) right click , check for updates and it will download the update from internet and then restart.
I have a Geforce GT 710 and when i searched for the drivers ... every driver that was available was a game ready driver... i have the same problem...and when i start my installation the monitor screen goes black and doesn't turn normal ....I've wasted hours waiting for the screen to become normal ....
Thank you for this video, it helped me a lot. I had this problem and after making sure my OS and GPU Drivers are updated, I opened my laptop and cleaned off the old thermal paste from the processor and GPU. This worked for about a month until I started getting error code 43 and BSOD again. Turns out I applied too much thermal paste, so I did the same cleanup process again and this time applied a little of thermal paste and this fixed my problem today. I wanted to share this with everyone as I almost threw my laptop out the window and got me a new one, I know the pain! Hope this helps someone.
i got tired after 6 several hours of reboot after reboot. install and some more installing. So ended all nvidia tasks in task manager. deleted al nvidia programs in the order you mentioned. delete the card in device manager were i could still choose to delete tha MMMFFFF driver so i did. went to Explorer and deleted every map and file containing the shitty word Nvidia. shut down virusscanner (AVG) in my case... went to cmd as admin and typed: net stop wuauserv and 2. net stop bits. quit the CMD. pulled out the LAN cable and shut down WiFi. hours before this when i was just starting i already did downloaded Display Driver Uninstaller and opened it again this time after closing cmd. I did choose to reboot in safe mode. after reboot installed version 353.62 notebook win10 x64 international driver program for N fucking vidia gt740m. shutted down the son of wh*re pc by holding the powerbutton way to long and slapped down the lid REALLY REALLY Hard. grabbed some food. took a leak and became curious if the way to expensive notebook would even start up again.... It did! yeah! got blue screen at first. pc rebooted itself and i could typ my pin so it went back in windows. opened cmd again as admin. typed: net start bits & 2 net start wuauserv presse enter. quit CMD opened device manager. THIS METHOD IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE WAY TO DO IT. But it did the trick after 8 hours. i updated it straight after. Wanked on a cheap 720p vid. shutted down the prick Windows device. took a shower and went to bed. next morning... believe it or not. the N vulva idia gt740m still worked like charm! no code 43 anymore. So best tip ik can give to fix this Code43 problem is to not give up keep calm and have a real nice wank what did the trick!!!! Good luck guys. Winners never quit, Quitters never win!
Here’s what I did which worked for me, first go to device manger, then click the driver tab, now select the update driver button. This will repair and drivers which were corrupted like mine was, hopes this helps someone!
Every time I restart my computer after installation as required, and it boots back up it's not recognizing the install. Like The drivers are there in the control panel and stuff, and the registry. Nvidia control panel won't open either. But it's like they're uninstalling after every restart which is ruining the whole process. I'm not getting any messages or anything to signify that it's failed, it's just failing.
Hey, i solved my problem, my answer where in a forum of external graphic cards, egpu.io/forums/expresscard-mpcie-m-2-adapters/nvidia-is-killing-off-mpciengff-m2-egpus-error-43-with-372-90/paged/8/#post-19273 (i was having the problem with a 1050ti in a egpu setup but maybe you can apply some things from here to your error)
Just so everybody knows there's also a chance of this error being caused by a loose PCI-E cable, especially on laptops that you carry around with you, given this ain't working and your somewhat competent with your hands you may wanna open up your computer and see if that's the case (wouldn't really recommend going to a electronics repairs shop for stuff like this tho most of those guys have no clue what they're doing and may actually try something stupid like re soldiering the graphics card)
Yesss! Thank you!! 2 years later and this video was the only one that fixed my problem. I followed it as closely as I could with all the updates that have been made over the last two years and finally got everything working!
For those who tried everything, try my method, it worked with my GTX 1080: 1- Install a fresh copy of your prefered OS (I used Win 7) 2- After installation, only install the Nvidia drivers and no other driver, especailly motherboard VGA drivers. 3- Shut down your PC and pull out your GPU and leave your PC disconnected from power for a few hours. 4- Now reseat your GPU back in the PCI slot and boot up your system. 5- .... 6- Profit? I know it doesn't make sense, but it worked for me twice.
well, found out the hard way that my video card was just needing more power! forgot to attach the mulex connector the Code 43 disappeared. *palm to face* the simpliest things man! lol
hey, I'm running the same GPU as you are here and I am having some issues. I did the entire thing here and still am getting code 43. Really need some help, this is the second time this has happened and I really don't want to factory reset again. Hope to get this resolved, thanks in advance
Bad news the card is done its hardwarenot software. I have the same thing amd it s time to stop lyomg to myself. The card is done its over tje retard asus make cards to only work fpr like 2 years tjen self distruct so i have to give them money again.Facts. Srry for 4 years delay
When i type the comment a sec ago , i was restarting my conputers after got 43 error , i opened the computer and just see the pci slot with nvidia in there ,just put it off and get in back again ,then try to restart the computers, owh yeah i forgot ,before you do this ,uninstal the graphic drivers then install it with new version just search it on nvidia center , theres drivrs compatible for almost version of nividia graphic card , i using it , worked after 3 hours work xd
TIP..: This will solve error 43 every time. No need to uinstall drivers or install new drivers. Turn off your computer.. Remove cables from your graphics card. Turn on computer and wait you for example 2 minutes or until you see a text saying something about connecting power to your grapics card TUrn off computer and then connect cables. Turn on computer and now you propberly are asked to enter bios and pres F1... In bios just select to not save anything and exit.. Now your computer boot and error 43 is fixed. ( tip its a good idea to discharge your computer... pull out the power cable and press and hold power button for 20 seconds before you do anything ) TIP 2. You can also do the above but remove your graphics card totaly from your computer. Boot computer wait 3 minutes. Turn off computer Install graphics card Turn on computer And again in bios select not to save anything and just exit. Now your computer should boot and work. ( tip its a good idea to discharge your computer... pull out the power cable and press and hold power button for 20 seconds before you do anything )
Help me bro...I didn't uninstall any drivers as u said... I removed my gpu cable's ( THE VGA slot that i use ) then I did put my monitor cable in the MOTHERBOARD VGA but the PC keeps failing to start... And I didn't use ur 2nd tip 'cause I don't know how to remove my gpu entirely ( afraid to break it 'cause it demands force ).
@@sasakikojuro Hello. sorry to hear it dident help you to remove the power cables i think you have to remove your gpu/graphicscard fysical from the computer BUT DO NOT use force ;-) If you notise where you insert your gpu then there is a long plastic slot its installed in called the PCIE 16x. Behind the plastic slot where your gpu is connected there is a small plactic tap/thing that you have to press while you pull your graphics card and this will unlock your gpu Here is a video ua-cam.com/video/JnRgtp04RFM/v-deo.html I think the trick to solve the problem is to remove your graphics card from computer, and then startup the computer.. then the bios / motherboard will see that there is no gpu in your computer and then it will forget that error 43 and look for a new gpu card. For me it have in 100% of the cases solved my problem to fysical remove my graphics card. I hope this was of help to you ;-) Good luck, hope you make it work.
Error code 43 HAPPENS and will happen every time you remove a card from a sli config without disabling SLI first, the Only way fixing it is by reconnecting the cards and disabling SLI before and disconnecting.
I have a 660 and had error 43 for months, I'm tried everything to do with the drivers and tested another graphics card in my pc to check if it was the 660 and the other card worked fine. I am going to get a 1050ti to replace it as I came to the conclusion that it is hardware
hi Joey, if you're still here, I've done what you've asked but at where you were at 8:55 my computer still reported my gpu to have code 43. hope you can help or anyone honestly, it's pretty tiring GTX 780 card btw
i used the same steps perfectly. when i installed the driver yellow triangle was gone. but when i restarted it again appeared.. and when i'm opening the control panel it says "you are not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia GPU"
Tried everything with my GTX 1050 TI.. didn't work. Allready fucking around for 2 whole days. Gonna be building a new gaming setup this year with a AMD card, fuck this bullshit
As it is said at 6:33, I didn't find any versions written as "windows" like there, & you forbidden to not click on the game ready versions but all the versions came up was 'game ready driver'.. now what can I do !?!
Followed each step of your video carefully, did a clean install via Geforce Driver Installer but I still get the Error 43. I have a GTX 1060 3GB and it didn't have the Windows 10 only drivers so I used Game Ready drivers
I fixed this issue by just uninstalling the nvidia programs like you said at 2:12 and then restarted my computer, installed geforce experience again, and everything went back to normal. I hope this helps someone. P.S. I had the issue with my RTX 2060
Hi I tried doing this the error 43 disappeared but the GPU is still not working. The Geforce experience keeps trying to install the same drivers. I tried using the DDU but it also didn't worked. I can't open the Nvidia control panel either. My problem started when my frozen in a game and I turned the pc off. I was using windows 10 then I returned to windows 8. The problem persisted. I tried installing some older drivers versions even a beta. Nothing worked. Can you help me?
+suresh nilax One thing that might work for you that worked for me last time I had this problem is to restore your windows to a state from months ago. Check it online on how do you do it. Basically it puts your pc on the same state it was when everything worked. I can't do it because I changed the stupid operational system
Hey joey, pin my comment pls, i have an solution to share. for people wich have amd chipset and a nvidia card, dont install amd usb controller. i had this problem and it was fixed unninstalling this amd usb controller.
it doesnt work for me, it keeps giving me error 43, i even called the technical support from asus!, they told me the same as you did in the video, i dont know what to do, ive fix the same error in the past but now it seems imposible :(
+Gladson Fontes yes i did, i uninstall my graphics card and deleted all the nvidia software. Secondly i rebooted my system and then i let my computer recognize it as a graphics card. Then i disable the card and left it like that for a day or two, then i went into nvidia page and installed a previous version of the controller and the version. i dawnload it and deleted the card from the device manager, then i restarted my system and installed the controller without internet (its the most important thing) then i disabled again the graphics card (because it wasnt working) and later on i installed gforce experience and then i enable the card. Finally i updated the card version doing a clean installation and it worked. If this does work for you i recomend to not continue upgrading the controller only if necesarry because it can make the card crash again. Remember to have the las bios version on your system and to have the drivers of the motherboard updated Hope to help you :)
Good vid, from me just uninstalling it in the right order fixed it by it self. I was able to reinstall drivers and worked just fine. My problem started when I want for 2 gpus to just one
Followed instructions verbatim until the 3D Video Controller popped up. When I try to update it's driver software automatically, it says it could not find the driver software. Should I keep restarting until the actual card pops up?
Finally fixed the issue after lots of trying and no this method wont fix the issue in case of deep rooted problem. u need to address the solution for the problem its facing
@@wAnNaRubCaNkles i was thinking of making some easy tutorial on it basically u need to understand the cause and what has happened then u can fix it, basically when u cut off the power due to a hard hang of pc sometimes the system becomes confused and cannot detect the gpu at bios level , remember then no amunt of reinstall or ddu or even windows reinstall wont work as i have tried all, basically what u need to do then is to flash ur gpu, now for laptops with discrete nvidia gpu it doesnt alllow u to flash ur gpu bios directly , so what i did is basically run the same bios update which i ran last time it came out , that 2 mins of bios update fixes the issue and when u restart ur pc and reinstall the drivers then the driver software can detect ur gpu, remember this bios step sud only be tried as last step and u sud try normal conventional methods like ddu and driver reinstall, (for desktops u can just flash the bios of nvidia gpus directly instead of updating bios for whole system like i ahd to do for my laptop). nevertheless its the last measure and even if after rerunning the same bios file if it doesnt work it means its a hardware issue.
For the love of all things holy, thank you. I've been trying to find a way to fix this issue for MONTHS! I mean, I dropped my computer a few months ago and had to get a new hard drive. Ever since then, this has been o wonky, and I've been getting code 43 a lot. And all I've been getting are temp fixes that still don't solve the whole issue. I am now finally able to use Nvidia to the full degree now. Why the hell haven't they hired you for customer service? Lol! Thank you again, this video was amazing and very clear, superb job for the helpful content!
dude your prolly forgot about this vid but i need help nothing is going to what it is for u and im doing the same as u can we hop on discord or sumin so u can help me?
after I deleted the nvidia things, my monitor started doing weird thinks pixels became green and red while I was displaying new windows, after that I restarted the pc and it just got stuck in some bios interface as glitched with pixels as windows was before. I'm gonna take it to the informatics and hope I don't have to buy another gpu mine was the 960 4gb.:(
so i went along with your vid trying to fix the error 43 for my NVIDIA Quadro M5000 on my desk top with win10 pro and it didnt fix it , did as you said to the T didnt work for me ! 😭
I got this code 43 nonsense and now my whole screen looks glitchy. it's filled with lots of horizontal lines, do you think maybe I need to get a new card? I have the gtx 670. Thanks in advance.
Glitching? That sounds technical. Most code 43 errors result in the card not responding. Don't want to freak you out but yeah you might want to think about a new one. Or, it could be your monitor is messed up.
+IronbarkStudios yeah. the card is old anyway. I just wanted to be sure before spending 300 bucks on another one. thank you for responding brother. one last question: which one would you recommend me to get? thanks again. subbed.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. It worked for me (Nvidia GTX275). In my case the video card never left the device manager list, but the error code changed from 43 to 32. I uninstalled all the Nvidia programs using the control panel, downloaded the driver from the NVidia (version 341.95), and made sure to specify clean install.
Solved: What fixed my personal problem was going to device manager, uninstalling the device with the window still open, the window will change to unknown device, I chose to manually install drivers, I selected use drivers present on system, chose use disc and navigated to the drivers folder. I opened up the list of drivers, navigated to my card and accepted the warning prompt then I restarted. Your system may show bsod if this process fails and you may need to find another method.
Thank you it worked for me.. I was so scared haha. Btw I have a Nvidia geforce gtx 1050 and it worked for me. I only needed to re-download the drivers from the Nvidia website again and everything worked again thank you!
@@ab.rdh_055 ayy man, I have a 1060 and installed the same drivers but for my card (445.87) but it doesn't work. I know it's a dumb question but would you know why?
I know I'm very late but if you see this, when I tried downloading the drivers off nvidia there was no windows driver there was only game ready, should I just download it anyway?
I also have this Code 43, but when i went into install my "old" version my grapichs card, i could only install Game Ready drivers and no GeForce Windows 10 driver.
kaneki x juuzou Search the same version he shows on the internet, something like “nvidia drivers windows 10 64 bits (your language) (the version, in this case 352.84)”
even thats my problem ...any suggestions what to do its about a month am suffering from thik bullshit code 43 error .........every single thing i tried but all went vain for god sake can anyone tell me how to fix it
Hey Joey i have done all the steps untill installing new drivers. My problem is that i have the geforce gt520m and i can't find windows 7 drivers exept of game ready drivers what should i do? I would really apriciate your help thanks.
Really frustrated right now!!!! So I updated to the Windows 10 anniversary update I have a GTX 745 and the resolution is stuck in 1024x768 on a 1600x900 screen. I have to upgrade to be able to play Forza Horizon 3. I've literally done everything and posted on several Reddits. DDU, the whole 9 yards!
ohh really on my pc it I unplug it then start it again and it just works but this is a common issue I cant use my pc cause the error 43 is just in my face but I hope you figure it out advenualy if you do Forza horizon 3 would be aweaome
Finally, I have the solution. Re-paste your thermal paste. If you try to reinstall the programs and all of it's process. You will get your fix. But, the problem will always come back. Because your laptops thermal paste is fucked.
@@LuxorMtn Same thing here. Brand new system, brand new rtx2070 and no matter what I do it's a no go. I'm returning the video card for replacement to see if it solves the problem.
Thank you so much, I tried everything I could find online for the past couple days with no luck I was bout to send the gpu back when I decided to look around one more time and found this video and it worked lol thank you so much again man
Mine won't work... I have tried everything. It all started when I took it apart to clean. I'm always very careful when I open it and drain power before cleaning. I can't even use the nvidia control panel. The error code 43 will go away and come back? Nvidia drivers won't install I believe correctly do to nvidia constantly saying install express drives now right after I just did that... it's all really weird... please help.
Alright this worked perfectly for me. What I did was disabled my graphics card from device manager (right click on it) then re enabled it. This might sound crazy but disable your CPU and re enable it. Hope it works
Same issue, theres only a choice between these two. Updated Bios along with checking viruses which there were none. Any solutions would be helpful, new graphics amplifier and trying to run a desktop graphics card?
Got video scheduler internal error bsod right after i installed the driver, no error 43 anymore but i get video scheduler internal error alot. Any suggestions?
when you say you dont download the game ready drivers you have to get the windows one, i have a gtx1050ti they dont have a windows one only game ready drivers
Came across the problem when i had to force shutdown my laptop after my game crashed. Have followed this video however all i can find are game ready drivers and one beta. Ill try the beta soon however with a game ready it still doesn't fix my situation. whenever i open up GeForce experience it just auto downloads the latest driver, asks me to restart then does it all over again unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated!
It could be static electricity in the hardware. I tried literally all fixes online, and today i fixed it by removing the drivers, turn off, take out bateries for 5 mins, plug back in, install driver and this time it finally worked.
Hey there, I'm having a code 43 error on win 7 with my Gt 640, only driver to work without the error is 9.18.13.4052 and game ready driver 340, I'm trying to update to the latest of 372 please help
Currently, I cannot answer all comments but I will try my best.
I've updated the description with another solution, check it out.
+IronbarkStudios Maybe add battery removal then disabling and enabling the device? That's what worked for me

FOR EVERYONE HOW HAS STILL THIS PROBLEM,
Fast Boot can also be the reason why error code 43 happens.
So if you have the error code, just try to deactivate the fast boot option at "what the power buttons do" in the power options of windows 10.

1.- uninstall the driver.
2.- download the lastest version of drivers and disable the connection to the internet.
3.- install the driver (lastest) (still not connected to internet)

5.- shut down your laptop/desktop.
6.- remove the power cord.
7.- uscrew the lower cover, and remove the battery.
8.- remove the BIOS battery.

Ricky Alva 。
Just so everybody knows there's also a chance of this error being caused by a loose PCI-E cable, especially on laptops that you carry around with you, given this ain't working and your somewhat competent with your hands you may wanna open up your computer and see if that's the case (wouldn't really recommend going to a electronics repairs shop for stuff like this tho most of those guys have no clue what they're doing and may actually try something stupid like re soldiering the graphics card)
isnt laptop gpu are soldered to the motherboard? how the problem cause by PCI-E cable?

I had some very serious doubts about this I am shocked that it worked for me. Thanks a lot man
For those who tried everything, try my method, it worked with my GTX 1080:
1- Install a fresh copy of your prefered OS (I used Win 7)
2- After installation, only install the Nvidia drivers and no other driver, especailly motherboard VGA drivers.
3- Shut down your PC and pull out your GPU and leave your PC disconnected from power for a few hours.
4- Now reseat your GPU back in the PCI slot and boot up your system.
5- ....
6- Profit?
I know it doesn't make sense, but it worked for me twice.

@@sasakikojuro Hello. sorry to hear it dident help you to remove the power cables i think you have to remove your gpu/graphicscard fysical from the computer BUT DO NOT use force ;-)
If you notise where you insert your gpu then there is a long plastic slot its installed in called the PCIE 16x. Behind the plastic slot where your gpu is connected there is a small plactic tap/thing that you have to press while you pull your graphics card and this will unlock your gpu
Here is a video
ua-cam.com/video/JnRgtp04RFM/v-deo.html
I think the trick to solve the problem is to remove your graphics card from computer, and then startup the computer.. then the bios / motherboard will see that there is no gpu in your computer and then it will forget that error 43 and look for a new gpu card.

+Juan Carlos Garfias Tovar can you help me? im in the same situation. I have a Asus too. you fixed it?
Remember to have the las bios version on your system and to have the drivers of the motherboard updated
Hope to help you :)
I'll try.

Finally fixed the issue after lots of trying and no this method wont fix the issue in case of deep rooted problem. u need to address the solution for the problem its facing
How did you fix your issue
