We are so excited to have our hands on the new IPhone Pro MAx and thought it would be fun to make a comparison between the new cinematic video features on the IPhone and our Sony a7sIII. We create product commercials and use a few features the new IPhone has improved such as better low light capabilities, new macro lens, and digitally racking focus mimicking aperture. In this video we test the IPhone against the Sony a7sIII to see if you could use a phone to make high quality videos.

Guys! Thank you for showing what camera can do on iphone 13. got the zony zv1 and i think zv1 can do 10x better than iphone13. I was going to get the phone for video shoots too. What’s your opinion?

The capabilities of manual cameras we think will outshine the performance of the IPhone because you can customize your settings in camera and the mechanical aperture & focus racking looks better than the digital algorithms the phone uses to mimic the low aperture looks. If you want the IPhone to have as a sick phone too the camera can definitely be used as a second camera to have on deck!
