You guys are just insane. Releasing one world changing software after another! At first I thought this might be redundant since we already have World Creator, but when I saw the ability to create entire planets you guys sold it to me! That's something I've been looking for for ages!
Being a one woman team I spent days weighing up whether or not I could afford the JangaFX suite while it was sale during the Black Friday event, and ended up purchasing it. And I'm so damn glad I did! Absolutely worth it 🥰

Just checking out your software now, it looks really cool, thanks for making it a perpetual license with paid upgrades, that is a great way of making it available for smaller hobbyists and freelancers, not too many companies doing that these days.
I used to use Vue bsck in the day and I'm DEFINITELY getting the FX suite... Would be perfect for use with Unity and my custom shaders. PLEASE create a procedural plant generator. That would be an instant buy for me
So it creates full planet landscapes? Like from space to ground like highly detailed? Because i only see the planets shown from space which i assume means it is not meant for this.
@@scottlaws1002 Potentially, but I'm not sure how we'd store that level of resolution per planet as most games that actually have procedural planets that allow you to go to the ground have a special game engine that focuses on that sort of thing, or they have procedural tessellation and other engine features that allow them to generate the data as needed with seeded algorithms VS storing the data on disk. I find it more likely that games would use GeoGen to generate the base seeds and masks for various planets, but use other techniques to populate the planet with higher resolution assets on the ground level.
deym! downloading it now to test. after 10mins.. is there a way to change the mesh into like a TEXT. What i imagine is like a Text made out of terrain.. For for example "JangaFX" text made out of terrain. close up to show details of the terrain and zooms out to show its a text.

I’ve been using world creator and gaea for a long time, was lucky enough to play with this early. It’s just as game changing as embergen.

Yes. All of JangaFX's main products (EmberGen, LiquiGen, GeoGen) are all written in Odin.

Yeah at this time it's not full space to ground.

You could do something like that by importing a mesh or a heightmap as showcased in the trailer.
