I have went through a lot of changing just to fit in with "friends" and i had sleep paralysis and bad dreams just of all the stress that i got from keeping everything for myself, when i just told my parents everything i felt so good, i haven't had any sleep paralysis or bad dreams or anxiety since, and my life has been so much better. I can't start to explain how good timing this is. For the past months even years I've been feeling like I was doing nothing good for myself or others, I was basically just existing. Today, I was writing my introduction for my online college class and then I remembered when you said "Perfect is an Imperfect word" and then I added it in my intro for the other students to keep in mind because of how much it affected me. I don't know if it's the way you talked about it or the fact that it's my first time watching a video of this kind, but I truly find myself in place, right at this moment, where I have more energy or hope to flip my mindset. I am on my year abroad in California and it's been the loneliest four months of my life, I "plan" my life every day and looking at the bigger picture, all I do is let days pass by, look for happiness in a virtual world instead of going out there doing stuff. I just failed my driver test yesterday and listening to this made me almost want to cry. I feel like he’s my therapist and he’s so right about confidence and that no one is perfect. I appreciate you for making this video
But besides the point that I failed I feel like I have a hard time having confidence in general, being comfortable in my own skin, knowing that my voice in what I believe in matters, I do have low self esteem too. I believe I do have depression. I have a lot of things going on in my life I wish I had control over but can’t. I feel so overwhelmed in my thoughts that at times I feel like I can’t think and I feel like that’s a big problem. *crying right now* 🙁 I do feel alone. I don’t have any close friends and feel like I can’t trust anyone to truly be there for me when I need them

I’ve followed you for years. How can you be bullied? You’re the nicest guy in personality and looks. It just goes to show you how awful some people can be. At least you’re doing better. Today, I was writing my introduction for my online college class and then I remembered when you said "Perfect is an Imperfect word" and then I added it in my intro for the other students to keep in mind because of how much it affected me. I came back to the video and didn't even submit my intro just to watch it again. I always had the image that I have to be a specific weight and look a certain way but at the end of the day, I find myself pressured by the numbers on the scale and mentally and physically stressed but I remembered what you said and now these words will stay and grow within my heart. I don't know if it's the way you talked about it or the fact that it's my first time watching a video of this kind, but I truly find myself in place, right at this moment, where I have more energy or hope to flip my mindset. I am on my year abroad in California and it's been the loneliest four months of my life, I "plan" my life every day and looking at the bigger picture, all I do is let days pass by, look for happiness in a virtual world instead of going out there doing stuff. I've always thought it was ridiculous to spend a few minutes a day by yourself, but I will try and work on changing my mindset. Regardless, thank you so much for speaking about this.

I've been in a very bad place in my life for a couple of month now and to be honest the first time that I saw you and found out that you're exactly my age , I thought to myself "what am I doing with my life ?😑" but then after watching this video I changed that opinion and thought instead of getting jelouse and disappointed I can learn & try to achieve good things as well . I struggle with depression, anxiety and I have something called panic attacks with agoraphobia, it is really hard in the way that it is stopping me from doing things I wanna do and it puts so much pressure in myself, this video may have not cured any of us but those 15 minutes really helped and also made me have a peaceful night, so thank you ♥️ I’m taking you advise

one of the best videos ive seen and made me feel better, I didnt know what anxiety felt like until my 2nd year of uni and i know what to do to overcome it but its a thing in my head that tells me to stop or i cant and give up and its a battle especially during stressful times when i have a lot of uni work to do and grades to accomplish, because if i dont achieve those grades i feel worthless. and sometimes school is so hard to even keep up with and everyone around is doing so well.. its hard. thank you Neels

Like I'm being for real right now you actually helped me think about my self and not do things to please others but do it to please myself because i matter as well. i have gcse coming up and im really struggling but i feel i have to push myself not so i can get better grades than my family but so ik these years have not been wasted i have a great foundation set for life which will able me get to a great university . The subject of bulling is really close to my heart i went abroad just so i miss 3 Mondays so i don't have to go to the lesson where i get picked last where i hear those people talking about me openly like i am not there.Thankfully i stood up for myself found my true friends and i refuse to take bullying or to see it because its really messed up and i think no one can stop it there will always be that person wanting to have that power over others.
