Sadly, I never got a chance to experience it because at the time, my family had games for the computer (Cyberia 2, Robin Hood: Conquests of the Longbow, Heart of China, The Return to Zork and Quest For Glory 1 and 3) and I was more into those. So around the 19:50 mark, Dixie is alone, having sacrificed Diddy previously to get to that bonus room... but then she exits it with Diddy? I heard no DK barrel opening so what was that? Unless you always get your partner back after bonuses and I forgot that?
The hard mode cheat was used. It removes all DK barrels, but you get your partner back at the start of every level and after the bonus rounds. I know the comment is a year old, but I hope it still helps.

I remember playing DKC2 and DKC3 on the snes in my childhood and DK2 being my most favourite never gets dull or boring, i have played this over and over again. I love all the enemies in the game, my favourite is those ghostly green coat monsters who have red glowing eyes and throws wooden boxes at you. And those hook guys look pretty cool. And OMG the music in this game is amazing. My favourite music from this game must be that Forest Interlude and the level Web Woods with that misty mysterious fog, such a mysterious cozy beautiful level. The game still holds up today and have aged really well. Probably my most favourite video games ever.
This game came out at a time when some of the last adult human minds were being ruined and some of the last human children were being totally misguided. Things like 'Spring Break Road Trips', 'Fat House Parties', 'Good Fuckin' Times', 'Special Moments', 'Amazing Feelings', were still part of the human experience and weren't just solicitation tactics on par with trying to catch fish with a worm on a hook. The human world remained intact for as long as those terrible meddlers wished it to. After the 2000's such awful things became commonly accepted by those in power
I don't get why taking those two specific banana bunch's in the very start of the game, while avoiding other bananas, caused a secret coin to appear. I mean how would a player know to do that in a organic play through. But great TAS!

Players aren't supposed to find it, but at that time (80's/90's), they used to put this kind of thing in game magazines and today we have the internet for it =).
It's a secret built in by the developers. It's only triggered when you follow these exact steps. You could only know about that if you read about it in some magazine back then. But once you know about it, it's not hard to pull off anymore and you'll get 75 Kremkoins at once.
Not at all. He bashes you in the head with his cudgel just for not having enough money and you wanted revenge. I wish there was a way to fight him too. But it is satisfying beating that boss in World 3 that resembles him.

Sometimes when theirs too many sprites on screen or you loaded the sprite too fast,the game doesn't have time to load the correct color pallet of whatever sprite so it loads in that weird gold pallet instead
It's the color palette for the gold coins I think. Probably just a loading error when there's too much stuff on screen. It happened in the DK1 TAS too.

Can someone explain this game to me, How is it they got 102%, assuming it had to do with the coins, but they ignored letters, and other coins in the levels.
Only coins that really matters are the Bonus (the ones with a rhyno), the DK coins and basically goind through each level in the game. Letters arent a collectable so you can skip them. Sorry i speak spanish and just tried to explain in a language i dont speak too well xD

Strats: Play game frame by frame and use a ton of rewinds till you get the perfect move.
