Wow, those Instagram users sound like they're giving out pure misinformation. Cool colors can make warm toned people look absolutely ill! I knew a warm-seasoned red-haired woman who had a fatal attraction to royal blue accessories and tops. Whenever she wore that color near her face, she looked jaundiced and bordering on pea-green!
As a person with a warm undertone and fair skin I look like a ghost and very pale when I wore a cool white. So what you said is very true. 😊 A warm creme or beige however looks amazing on me.
Interesting case! One day I'd love a video on how to choose denim color for your palette. One thing I know is that I'm definitely warm but I can't give up on blueish jeans, and I'd love examples of some warmer ones.
If I had any doubts that I am spring, they are nearly gone now. (It will be fully gone once I get an analysis from you!) My colours look very nice in that bright green (16:11) and even that yellow. When I was a teen, there is this one yellow shirt (same shade as in 14:56) that I love to wear often because I look nice it. And Yellow is not even my favorite color. Most of my clothes are blue 😅. Now I know why I tend to pick that yellow shirt.
I was also recently analyzed as a True Spring! It was quite shocking, because I am pale with dark brown hair - I thought I would for sure be a Winter of some kind, but the results don’t lie! @JOJO-ug9ei yes. Yay, last year I requested you analyze a bearded man, so we could practice focusing on the skin in the first steps despite the distraction of hair! Thank you, will enjoy and share the video.
I wonder if the analysis would be more difficult if his hair were deceitfully cool. Luckily this time the facial hair contributed to the very warm features in the skin.
@@coloredpencils01 I got busy and haven't yet seen the video here but opposite -undertone facial hair was exactly why I made the request last year! @@coloredpencils01 ah, thank you for that tip, I'll look for info on that subject! I am a perfect example of the hair issue you mention . I have clear and strong cool skin undertones and I am a Winter ,(Bright, or whatever the equivalent is in other systems; the highest contrast Winter). Yet, my darkest-brown natural hair color (appears black when wet) was always susceptible to warm reddish highlights, especially in the sun. Those not only didn't flatter my undertone, but ever so subtly muted the potential contrast of my hair with other features. Since I began tinting my hair a blue-undertoned black, my skin and other features are enhanced! My skin looks fresher and clearer, with less discoloration, with no base makeup, and my eyes are brighter. This goes against conventional wisdom that dyed black hair looks harsh once a person is no longer in the youngest age brackets. This analysis with fair skin, blue eyes and red beard/hair was so interesting! (Though his peach shirt at the beginning did gave away a lot 😊) Very true about pale skin. Mine is fair with reddish areas, but I’m warm and was analyzed as a True Autumn. I love your videos!
Such fun to watch, thank you. 🥰 This is me, from A to Z - I'm a true spring as well. One step into winter and I'm looking pale. One step into summer and I'm looking pinkish grey. One into autumn and I look muddy.
Omg I can't believe you just posted this! My husband is a similar palette, Common in Ireland, with green and yellow eyes, warm skin and ginger beard but very cool ashy brown hair. Can't wait to watch this! X
@irishaoife31 Irish heritage in my family. We're all springs with very very fair skin and dark ashy hair! The green eyed ones are deep springs the grey eyed ones bright springs
How lucky for him to have blue eyes and warm skin, he can wear his complimentary color for his eyes to really make them pop. I have blue eyes and a cool undertone, orange is awful on me. I'm so jealous 😫 thank you for another great video!
Wow, thrilled to see a true spring‼️In the future it would be nice if you could explain why some popular colour analysts say that true seasons have a specific palette instead of saying that true season can wear all the subgroups within their palettes. For example many say that a true winter is a cool winter and that’s their palette. Grazie ragazze!
no ,the subgroups are a different palette to the true season, and they already explained several times why true seasons should avoid the subgroup palettes.
Hey! I have come across the same thing as you before. I believe it’s because different color analysts use different systems to categorize people. Some consider “true” seasons to not exist and will insist on assigning a subgroup (which they may call a true season but like you said is just one of the warm/cool subgroups). Those people use a 12 season model where I’m pretty sure these ladies are using a 16 season model (4 seasons with 3 subgroups each and the additional 4 true season groups). There are even color analysts that scrap the entire seasonal model and focus on other characteristics and 16 season models that are entirely different from this one. It’s just different color analysis schools and models! I do enjoy the version these ladies practice most, however
Yes, in many approaches, true summer = cool summer, true winter = cool winter, true spring = warm spring, true autumn = warm autumn. That's because the original seasonal color analysis in the '80s was just 4 seasons, the true seasons, and later others expanded it into more subgroups.
True winter is equal to cool winter only when the analyst is using the 12 seasonal color system. In the 16 seasonal color system, they're not the same. Meaning that, while it's true for a true season to be able to wear all of the subseason colors within that season, it has it's own separate palette too.
you girls are amazing, I could watch you all day. Even though english is not your first language, the explanation is so rich, precise, accurate, clear and non-judgmental that I feel like my brain is processing information in my native language (italian too by the way).
The cool colors made his nose look red and prominent, while the warm colors immediately evened out the tones in his face and brightened him. It’s amazing to watch the transformation. It’s very obvious with some people.
I thought I was a summer but watching this with lots of redheads on both sides of my family I tried on a coral dress. Wow, I've never looked so good! And I would never have chosen a warm bright colour without this video Very informative and with such good energy. I love all your analyses but this one really helped me out. I reckon now I'm a spring warm so the complete opposite of what I thought before!
It actually hurts to see him in that autumn olive green! It is like seeing a spring bud crushed into the ground, and how refreshing when we see the spring green on him!
Did it really work to do online? I'm thinking of doing it with them but I just don't believe it could work online. Would you mind telling me a little bit about your experience?
@am1156 I also did it online, with Alessandra guiding me through the whole process via zoom, exactly as they would do on location, but using a carefully selected picture of me. It was awesome and I believe it's very reliable!
@@am1156 yes it worked out great! In my case it was over email as I live in the US. They requested some specific photos and the result was super accurate. I was so confused before because I had my colors done in person years ago and especially lately the palette just didn’t really work. Now I see why, they were wrong in the past. I am very pleased and grateful. I just love these two gals. 💕
@@sammicerise8553that's really interesting that your analysis was incorrect before, as I've also been analysed as a cool summer but I have lots of family with the same undertone as Simone. So now I'm wondering about my analysis
I'm a super-high contrast Winter (Bright Winter, etc.) and despite my clear, cold blue skin undertone, I have warm brown eyes (when the light shines in them, they are almost cherry amber)! I have always instinctively gravitated toward cool colors and shunned warm ones (even in the art I admire on walls, not just in my own clothes or makeup). However, interestingly, in recent years I realized that focusing a *bright* warm eyeshadow (like blazing copper) JUST above my iris while keeping the surrounding skin/crease "safe" with cool shades flatters and draws attention to the color of my eyes while not jeopardizing my overall alignment with my season/ my skin's coolness.
Yeeeaaah another true spring 🎉 i get analyzed by alessandra and it was so great to figure out i am a true spring. Never expected because i always thought because im light, blond and blue eyes i have a low intensity. But i love my palette so much.
I too have been analysed as a True Spring by Giulia and Alessandra! It came as a shock because I could swear I was a Soft Summer or something in that vein 😂 I've already seen this video but I'm going to watch it again and take notes. So many notes.
That's awesome! It's always fascinating how colour analysis can surprise us. It sounds like you're really diving deep into understanding your palette💘 We're thrilled to hear how happy you are with the result 🥰
Thank you for having a red-haired fair skinned person on for color analysis. I am too and so understanding my undertones has always been so confusing, I’ve always thought that since I’m fair skinned I’m cool toned.. This helped a lot to clarify for me that I do have warm undertones.
My analysis from you ladies was a true spring as well. This was a super helpful video in understanding! Thank you! I hope one day you'll offer an online color analysis certification course :) Sign me up!
Giulia and Alessandra always seem to explain everything within their whole process so perfectly, such a way with words! These videos are so satisfying and so professional!
The difficulty is finding warm colour clothing for men in Australia. Most shops seem to stock blues, greys, whites and black. They limit their palettte to make the shop looking more harmonious to passers by. I don't really believe in the phrase "warm blue". All blues are cool (just some are less cool).
I think the spring light worked least for him he had this bland ness, like a washed out ness appearance. The spring bright worked well. All of it works fantastic. The spring warm worked second best, even with the brown which i admit did look off. However the honey definitely looked great. He is very contrasty and the light colours arent very contrasted.
My color analyst said I was the most difficult analysis she had ever done as well and my colors are very similar to his except my natural hair color leans more warm neutral. She analyzed me as Bright Spring which for the most part was quite accurate. I cannot wear chocolate browns, for example. But I can wear golden mid browns but not tans. Warm greys look great on me. I definitely feel I lean more towards True Spring than Bright Winter however as many of the Bright Winter colors are too much for my natural colorings. If I ever travel to Australia again I will for sure make your studio one of my first stops to get a more fine tuned color palette. Both of you ladies sure do have a detailed eye for color!
True Spring ... Wow!! I love it!! And for sure I agree! I was pretty well decided on this when you finished Spring, but it was so evident comparing those Sister Seasons. I love it! Thank you Simone for sharing this with us.
Its easier for me to see when cool toned people have the wrong colors on as opposed to warm toned. It seems that warm toned can wear both sometimes . Its just what i see on my phone
I was surprised that you didn’t see much difference between, bright, light, and warm spring. To me it was clear that Light Spring washed him out way more than the others. Very bland. The Bright Spring looked good but it was still clear that it was too much for his skin. The Warm Spring looked absolutely perfect on him! It makes sense because warmth seems to be his dominant characteristic. Cool colors kill his skin.
Aha! When you were comparing the different springs, it did cross my mind he might be a true season, but then I switched to thinking he was spring warm. Well done and thank you, this was so interesting!!
I have watched many videos on color analysis but by far your channel is the best in explaining so many aspects of color analysis. You also explain it so beautifully. About 40 years ago I was told I am spring and while many of the colors are great on me I can also wear many fall colors. It has confused me for years. Your explanation of why certain colors do and don’t work was exceptional. Thank you
Yes, this is the best analysis I have seen. I am the same - a spring but was also incorrectly analysed as an Autumn. Autumn orange shades look wrong on me but bottle greens look good. I also look good in the bright spring colours and now I understand the difference between the cobalt blue and the warm blue shown. I couldn’t understand why this blue suits me but it’s explained very well in the video. I didn’t realise I had a rare palette but now I know why shopping for clothes is so hard, especially in summer and winter!
As a redhead with blue eyes, this was so helpful. Every time I look at autumn palettes for myself, it seems like something is off. I have a much better understanding of the spring palette now!
I knew he was warm from the moment you put the white cloth at the begining, he lost so much color I thought he was fainting! I'm at 21:50 and I am going to make the prediction that he is a true spring
I think I'm a true spring as well, although haven't been professionally analysed. First I was convinced I had to be a summer because of my fair skin, and I also wear a lot of blue and I really felt like it looked good on me. But this video made me think. I had a really hard time with my darker blonde hair and my eyes, which have every color in them from grey to blue to green and yellow :'D But after asking others as well I came to the conclusion that I had to be spring, and most probably a true spring. And I realized that most of the blues I'm wearing are actually warmer blues. Thanks for this video, very informative! :)
Sometimes i wish i could be a warm season . The bright warm ,i luv and the khakis an gold , greens of autumn, thought i was warm most of my life because of a little yellow in skin but now when i see what cool makeup and clothing colors do for me ; i know im not warm based
Wow, one of my favourite videos on this channel. ❤ I've learned a lot today. I could see that he is warm and that he belongs to spring. At first I thought he is a spring light, than I was surprised that some of the spring warm colours were better on him. It was fun to realize he is a true spring. Thank so much for this video. You are my favourite youtubers at the moment. I am always happy to see more.😊
This was so much fun to watch! Thank you so much for the wonderful illustrations with Simone! I had my color analysis done by Alessandra last year and I've since really worked through my closet. I still have some sentimental items that are not in season for me (warm spring), but otherwise, my closet is pretty good and it has really helped me narrow down what to buy and what is more of a "nice on the rack in the store" but not great on me.
This is such an interesting video. I enjoyed the process of getting to the true-ness of his characteristics. From a very happy „true summer“ client of yours 😊❤
Thanks so much for these videos. I have very similar colouring to Simon (ginger hair, very fair skin but my eyes are between blue and green). I was really worried about wedding dress shopping because I’m so pale but I hate fake tan. I learned that I have a lot of warmth underneath my pinky overtones and picked the warmest ivory dress that I tried on. My skin looks glowy rather than pasty. Thanks again for including a wide range of skin tones including people like me! Love you videos!
I have fair skin and warm/olive undertones! REALLY hard finding foundations that work for my skin, they’re often too pink and/or too dark on my skin. I think I’m a warm autumn!
Loved seeing this! I'm also a true spring so this was very interesting and inspiring. I have a question for you! From all of the analyzing you've done, what season is the most common and which one is most rare?

When I saw a new video I hoped it would be a true season analysis! My lucky day :) so interesting to see that all the bordering subgroups to spring weren't giving his best
Loved seeing this one! It was really interesting looking at the potential sister seasons and seeing how the only colors that worked from them were the ones pushing the boundaries of that season (the brightest autumn, the warmest winter, and warmest/most intense summer). I personally thought the emerald looked best of the winter options- but definitely not as well as the spring blue-greens. I think I was surprised at how much I didn’t like the olives on him given how warm he is.
I am a Bright Winter (flowing in Bright Spring) but I love coral red! It's included in my color palette too but I struggle choosing blues and greens for my color palette.. Sometimes I end up buying Bright Spring clothes lol
Beautifully analysed! I don’t know why it’s so engaging, it’s like a climatic story telling :D Could you maybe show another olive skin example? :) my olive skin confuses me. I don’t know if I’m soft autumn or dark autumn, I can wear both seasons and both sister seasons. If I was in Australia I would come and visit but my skin is very hard to photograph so I would prefer in office analysis :)

This analysis with fair skin, blue eyes and red beard/hair was so interesting! (Though his peach shirt at the beginning did gave away a lot 😊) Very true about pale skin. Mine is fair with reddish areas, but I’m warm and was analyzed as a True Autumn. I love your videos!
loved the Caribbean blue on him
He looks so handsome in his colors! Wow!
That sherbert orange shirt he came in with was an amazing color on him
Such fun to watch, thank you. 🥰 This is me, from A to Z - I'm a true spring as well. One step into winter and I'm looking pale. One step into summer and I'm looking pinkish grey. One into autumn and I look muddy.
Very interesting, he is so much stronger and healthier in Spring colours.
Springs usually have a very healthy glow about them.
Can you please make a video about color values? I think you mentioned a lot about temperature and intensity, but rarely about value.
I liked both the greens on him.
Nice! I would like to see a true autumn as well😊
Yes, would be interesting to see a pale True Autumn.
I thought I was a summer but watching this with lots of redheads on both sides of my family I tried on a coral dress. Wow, I've never looked so good! And I would never have chosen a warm bright colour without this video
Very informative and with such good energy. I love all your analyses but this one really helped me out. I reckon now I'm a spring warm so the complete opposite of what I thought before!
It actually hurts to see him in that autumn olive green! It is like seeing a spring bud crushed into the ground, and how refreshing when we see the spring green on him!
Thank you! LOVED THIS! You analyzed me (online, and it was a fab experience) as a True Spring so I was riveted🎉
@@miajay507 Sounds amazing that it would work online. Thank you!
Loved this analysis! He looked amazing in all those strong colours. I would love to see some more soft or light summers if you can find/film any!
And I’m over here thinking the cool colors looked better on him. No wonder I can’t decide on my own season.
I still can’t decide for me they worked similar good/bad. I only can tell that muted doesn’t work the best on him and the too dark ones.
Same!!
His veins and undereyes get much darker with the cool tones
@@rb5078 Same here, the warm coloura make him look too "red faced" (apologies for my lack of proper terminology) to my eyes
That blue eye thing is true. I got the reverse going on with warm brown eyes and cool undertone.
He has the exact same coloring as my husband (including the red beard and blue/green eyes) This has been so helpful! Thank you!
I'm not sure about this analysis, to me he looked more cool toned, maybe close to neutral.
I think it may be fair to say that natural redheads (all shades) fall under a warm palette. I saw Simon and thought Spring!
holy moley cannolli, that man is one fine looking human! consider yourself eye candy sir. swooooooooooon.
He s definitely more warm than light even if he has very fair skin!
He looks well in autumn warm too I think
My analysis from you ladies was a true spring as well. This was a super helpful video in understanding! Thank you! I hope one day you'll offer an online color analysis certification course :) Sign me up!
Giulia and Alessandra always seem to explain everything within their whole process so perfectly, such a way with words!
These videos are so satisfying and so professional!
The difficulty is finding warm colour clothing for men in Australia. Most shops seem to stock blues, greys, whites and black. They limit their palettte to make the shop looking more harmonious to passers by. I don't really believe in the phrase "warm blue". All blues are cool (just some are less cool).
that italian accent is lovely
He looks great in those true spring colors! I am the same palette and LOVE it. Also a fair, blue eyed person but completely warm undertone! 😁
Wow, always exciting to find someone with a true season palette!
I actually really like the autumn green on him as well! Made his eyes really bright!
Awesome as always. I do have to say that cyan has far, far more yellow than royal blue, by definition.
Cool, another Gentleman. I never saw a true season before, so this is amazing!
Very handsome man. Well done ladies.
All the spring colors looked great on this man! ❤️
Thank you
Thank you so much, we're glad you liked our video!
What a great analysis with this charming man.
I need a color analysis from you guys so bad
Wow! His skin looks so clear and radiant with that bright green. Great video!
I knew he was warm from the moment you put the white cloth at the begining, he lost so much color I thought he was fainting! I'm at 21:50 and I am going to make the prediction that he is a true spring
💛 As a true spring analyzed by you, I found this video very informative and inspiring, thank you Giulia and Alessandra!
Thank you Linn, we're very glad 🥰
The bright warm ,i luv and the khakis an gold , greens of autumn, thought i was warm most of my life because of a little yellow in skin but now when i see what cool makeup and clothing colors do for me ; i know im not warm based
My favorite content on yt by far
Wow, one of my favourite videos on this channel. ❤
I've learned a lot today.
I could see that he is warm and that he belongs to spring.
At first I thought he is a spring light, than I was surprised that some of the spring warm colours were better on him. It was fun to realize he is a true spring.
Thank so much for this video.
You are my favourite youtubers at the moment.
I am always happy to see more.😊
Thank you so much, we're flattered 🥰
What a great analysis!
The spring and autumn colors make the guy loook sick
This was so much fun to watch! Thank you so much for the wonderful illustrations with Simone!
I had my color analysis done by Alessandra last year and I've since really worked through my closet. I still have some sentimental items that are not in season for me (warm spring), but otherwise, my closet is pretty good and it has really helped me narrow down what to buy and what is more of a "nice on the rack in the store" but not great on me.
This is such an interesting video. I enjoyed the process of getting to the true-ness of his characteristics.
From a very happy „true summer“ client of yours 😊❤
Just found this channel . Fantastic 🎉! Thank you.❤
True Springs always look stunning in their colours
Have never clicked so fast! 😂😂 Always look forward to another colour analysis video from you guys ☺️- I could watch all day!
I am a true autumn with very pale skin. I relate to feeling washed out. Just need go wear the right colors.
I have fair skin and warm/olive undertones! REALLY hard finding foundations that work for my skin, they’re often too pink and/or too dark on my skin. I think I’m a warm autumn!
I've been really looking forward to this! 😊
Yay! Another video finally! Give me that sweet, sweet serotonin 😊
Loved seeing this! I'm also a true spring so this was very interesting and inspiring.
I have a question for you! From all of the analyzing you've done, what season is the most common and which one is most rare?
Fascinating video! He is sooo warm. It’s interesting to see as a more neutral skin toned person, where the undertone is not super obvious.
Can't believe I guessed correctly this time from the start 😱 Glad to see a new colour analysis video, guys, I've been missing them. P.S.: Julia, your outfit is amazing, love the style with the large shirt and the jeans and that belt, looks great, stylish but layed back like you're not trying too hard. It looks efortless but great 👏
You're very kind, thank you so much! Giulia ❤
This session made me question my assumptions about myself! I am saving up to get an online session with you two. I can’t wait!
❤
I normally don't comment on videos, but wow you both communicate so incredibly well, especially with each other. That was a pleasure to watch. I've just subscribed and look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the video. It means a lot to us that you took the time to subscribe and share your thoughts. We look forward to bringing more content on the channel 💖
Soooo interesting to see a True Spring!!
I don’t know why it’s so engaging, it’s like a climatic story telling :D
Could you maybe show another olive skin example? :) my olive skin confuses me. I don’t know if I’m soft autumn or dark autumn, I can wear both seasons and both sister seasons. If I was in Australia I would come and visit but my skin is very hard to photograph so I would prefer in office analysis :)
