I have learned, through losing who i thought was my great love, that loving someone is not enough. Love by the biblical definition; kind, patient, never seeks its own way, doesn't keep score of ill doing, that love is enough, but loving someone isn't. First of all because we don't all believe in that biblical definition and a lot of people think love is a feeling. I for one, think love, biblical love, is something you have to be obedient to, because if you consider that definition is sounds a lot like God himself. So for me loving a human being isn't enough, but being obedient to loving them is, when they annoy you, when you argue, when they don't cook the pap right, your obedience to love will keep you there, with them, loving them.
I know obedience is a cuss word nowadays but honestly you have to obey what your love for someone requires of you and loving them in itself isn't enough to do that.
