We are taking a look at how to do the Maktuf Flip reset , one of the hardest mechanics in the game and by far the hardest flip reset in rocket league. To help me, we have Maktuf himself giving us a step by step guide on how to flip reset and breaking down exactly how to do the Maktuf flip reset that he discovered and popularised!

Hey Maktuf! Can you explain what square deadzone is? I do not understand this part and my cancels do not work well with my settings :(
I love how mektuf is like, “point your butt to the ball and be sideways”…Thonovic proceeds to change this to “back of car facing ball. car rotated 90 degrees”. Ya that sounds a lot cooler
But it's both lol. Gotta have it 90° rotated so side of car pointed at ground and rear end of car pointed at ball

4:56 There's an ongoing bug for months now in rocket league, when you queue casual sometimes it puts you in a random private match. Even if it has a password
Ngl that’s actually a funny bug to be in the game
I have a bug when I’m in a party I’m try to join a private match with the setting “party only” I join a random private match. When I wanna be in a match with my partied friends I have to do name and password.
This is an interesting bug and it seems to pick matches that are on the same server as your casual or other private match queue. This doesn't always seem to be the case though. My theory is that somewhere the server is getting confused on which match is which and puts players in incorrect party matches since those are "open" to be joined by other players, while a password lobby requires other inputs from the user before they can join, and is therefore "closed." For now, using a basic name as pass is the work around but it is really, really weird.

Yeah I bumped into Ronaky in a casual game and a few hours later I randomly joined his private match which had a few other pros in it despite me actually queuing for normal unranked 3s. I was like what the hells going on here and saw about 10 players spectating which led me to believe it was a bug, I left immediately though I should have tried joining.
Thank you, after finally getting the double reset down I had no mechanic that I wanted to train but this has given me something to do finally.

Thank you for doing this tutorial I am plat and now I can do 4 maktuf resets in a row pretty ez after you know how to do 1 I got 1 maktuf and never scored it. So I have never gotten 1 maktuf reset so 4 should be pretty simple scoring in a match.

I had a 1v1 against Maktuf in ranked not to long ago. He was tryna clip on me and even got a nice stingpop goal. I felt violated when he was getting double flip resets without any effort. Great player, even better freestyler.

@5:20 some people joined my party only match as well there were 4 of them and they all joined in thier own party, then scored and left. i then went back to the menu where i crashed after it said dupe-login.
How do you change your deadzone shape on epic?
Learned it a different way than maktuf explained it, he kinda explained a 360 maktuf, I just learned the “normal” one

I'm practicing the basic Musty flick at gold because I want to catch players off guard after it is on my roof and I confuse them with a high powered and high altitude flick.

If you've spent a good amount of time in rocket league you'll know that the explanation of what the controller is supposed to do will eventually be muscle memory and therefore even harder to explain what to do.

You don’t just learn to air dribble in 20 hours. You’ll only see change at around 70-100
