Out of my last ten 2v2 games in casual (plat mostly), three of the games are against freestylers. They are freestyling like crazy. Don't know if it's been suggested but I think an idea for future videos could include a selection of other peoples attempts at a particular mechanic and your thoughts and tips on where they are going wrong and/or what they might work on for more success. Of course, practice is everything and, in time, anything is achievable but it would be something I would be interested in watching. Thanks!

i actually mastered it after some times cause that the first thing ive practice since ive been playing also i use air roll not right or left and i cant rotate while airrolling so i would say i got it down i cant always get better but your video helped me XD the 100 hours one
I feel super noob saying this, as I never find anybody asking this in the comments, but how come in this kind of guides or even tutorials, there's not a single mention of the type of camera you should use in each moment (ball cam or car cam)? Maybe it's super basic knowledge, but I think is way too important to be ignored in what it's suposed to be a guide.

One thing you didn’t elaborate on is how having the ball slightly forward on your car naturally pushes the front of the car down as you double jump. This is what gets the ball out in front of you for the first touch in the air, rather than popping the ball straight up. In essence your getting that 45 degree pop (like when you pop the ball up) by letting the ball push the nose of the car down on the first of the two double jumps and then having the car at a 45 degree angle to the ground when you make the second jump. It took me a long time to understand this aspect of the mechanic. Just my 2¢. Great video as always.
8:38 was awesome. Getting to the opposite side of the ball to slow it, then still taking it to net. Sheeeeesh. All the examples were nice, but that one was *clicks tongue* noice.
Recently (before I slumped again), my air dribble skills have just *clicked.* I could easily carry the ball from corner to corner (with unlimited boost), and it was much easier to double touch above the cross bar and beside the near post. This was mainly because of two major things. 1. I spent many hours practicing dribbling. This vastly improved my ability to make slight adjustments to the ball’s position. 2. I recognized the ideal point of contact on the ball for midair carries. I like to call it the “propeller”, since the ball evenly moves forward and upward. It’s position can vary depending on your angle, starting position, and velocity, but that can be memorized by practicing air dribbles from many points on the field. Let’s say the equator and axis don’t move when the ball rotates, they just stay in the middle. The “propeller” is typically underneath the equator, closer to the axis. If your car surpasses the velocity of the ball (in the same direction), you will lose control of the ball. You will have to redirect your car’s momentum to a slightly different propeller, in order to change the ball’s path. All of this is without the use of air rolling. Including air roll in your dribbles can bounce the ball higher, allowing for less control. It is too difficult for me to air roll on the propeller. That said, bouncing the ball upwards while air dribbling can be harder to defend, and could make it easier to flip-reset or flick the ball while airborne.
would you suggest that i should just practice dribbling first? im kinda weak in dribbles, but i feel like moreso than the dribbling my car control in the air has gotten weaker
I actually can sort of do it now cause I try air dribble and I cant even get the ball high enough but after this tutorial I can get at least 2 touches before it hits another wall! So it kinda helped so I will keep practising but thanks for this guide (subbed)

The video was very helpful but it’s not as simple as “just go the same speed as the ball” if you could go more in depth on that in a future video ,much appreciated.
Been practicing some aerials so don't really need to work on that atm and my car control is.. okay but it's the recoveries that messes me up. Whenever i tilt too much to one side it's impossible to get back into it and i start to slowly fall to the ground.
I noticed in your “Which car is best for free styling” video you did the mechanic on the ground that involved you spinning under the car and then flicking it over..maybe a tutorial on that move? I don’t know the name but it looks like a mechanic good for aesthetic and good for ground control also such as the breezi :) which I just learned and can do consistently after watching your tutorial :D
Great tutorial! Only thing I'm missing is at what angle you gotta hit the ball on the wall. So the further back you are how more of a lateral approach you want.
Platinum's Air Dribble: where you set up an air dribble but completely choke the take off and go tumbling to the ground. Edit: Can't believe this got a heart. Oh well it's gone now.
I'm plat but I can actually air dribble really well. And I'm not like those other plats that say the can when they cant; I actually can. I guess I'm more of a freestyler so I focus on mechanics instead of ranking up.
