You can use Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge to view the video in a browser. Chrome doesn't have any support for IE based web cams but Microsoft Edge does do it well. I use Chrome 95% of the time but have all my camera's setup in Edge using "Internet Explorer Mode". With little bit of know how, you can permanently set each IP address up in IE mode, so in the future when you open Edge and go to the camera, it will automatically open in IE mode. Edge's interface takes a bit getting used to, but once you do (and you can google "running websites in IE compatibility mode in Microsoft Edge) and you will get a lot of helpful information, tips and tricks. Hope this helps. I love your video's and they have helped me make purchasing decisions for myself and others here in the USA. So thank you and keep up the great work.
Hi Securitybros, all the cameras I have work over a Cat 6 RJ45 cable. I don't use WiFi. Can I power this camera from my ANNKE Helm 4K NVR and control its PTZ features without using WiFi? One last question, Can I remove the two antenas and insert blanking plugs?
This camera does not support POE so you can't power it using a Ethernet cable. But you can use a network cable instead of WiFi for data but probably better to but a POE camera if you don't want WiFi.
i have a 2 part question. do you have any thoughts about deauther attacks on wifi cameras? And what we be some of the cheaper cameras or brand names you personally trust and would recommend a POE system with IR night vision ( with the option of deactivating built in IR lights, i have IR flood lights mounted away from the cameras because of a very bad spider web issue) and no spot lights (.i have dogs and to many false alarms from the tress and the wind it would look like a strobe light going off all night ) m my current ones are 2MP 1080p HD with a 100 view range. fixed position bullet cameras, they are listed as "wide-angle viewing" with 105 degree angle but they defiantly have an angle less than 90. and whats your preferred POE DVR, that can hopefully have all its camera slots used and run on its highest resolution with 24 hour recording and actually function like it says it will .... i proceeded to list all the reasons my night owl system is complete trash but i got tired took a break and realized i went on a 5 paragraph long rant when i got backand decide to take that out . bu let me know if if anyone needs talked out of buying one of there systems

Hi! I like your reviews, they are honest experiences with cheap and not so cheap China cameras. During time, I've tested different cheap cameras and all of them miss one important feature: pre-record option in case of motion detection. When a fast moving object enters and leaves the area, it almost won't be recorded without this feature. From what I've read, this option uses some memory image buffer which causes some delay of the output video stream. So, when the motion detection (triggered by the camera sensor) occurs, the recording will capture even the moments before the person would enter the area. I hope this was not a too complicated explanation 😊 I know about this feature from Hikvision systems, but I did not encoutered so far at cheaper Aliexpress cameras. Did you notice this featured at any camera you tested? Thanks!

In the meantime, I bought an Imou Cruiser series camera and I was surprised to discover the fact it really has this pre-recording feature. It is not configurable but it exists and it is working.

Hi, are you using the web interface? It's been while since I tested this camera so I don't remember but after checking the video, there is a setting called "Tour" in the web interface. Did you try that?

Is there a way to control the camera via a PC? Unfortunately, the only way I have found is via the outdated activeX control of Internet Explorer. One can see its settings in the web interface, but all of them are greyed out and do not allow any change. It is a great miss on the part of the manufacturer not to provide PC software. Surveillance cameras are supposed to be viewed on large monitors, not just on smartphones. What is worse is that all IP camera viewers in the market offer only partial support. They do not allow PTZ movement, nor zooming.

My requirement is I have to keep an eye on our estern boundary of our property at110 feet away for nuisances going on there. Is there any camera which can record movement at this distance and that should be Identifiable from the video recording.

Hi Securitybros, I have a few different models of Annke cameras, and the image quality is good for the price you pay for them, like most optical zoom, the quality at night is poor unless you have great lighting around the subject your zoomed in on! Great review, thanks you! 😘😘
This one is much much better than E1 Outdoor. I have E1 Outdoor (also E1 Zoom) and its going to be replaced with new Ezviz H8 Pro 3K & C6. I’ve tried all firmware versions and nothing helps with the issues. It get stucked in place, auto return dont work, misses the guarding point all the time. Cant watch it in highest resuloution(2.4 Ghz) and it has router behind the wall. My other cameras(3x Ezviz C8W Pro 2K & 2x Eufy C24 Outdoor works great with my TP-Link system). Only firmware version on E1 Outdoor which “works” for me is v3.1.0.804_22011506, just have to correct position every few hours if camera detect person. Reolink have great support btw.
I have both reolink E1 Zoom AND Annke 20x zoom. When it comes to hardware, Annke is by far much better! But, due to luck of PC viewing software and luck of PTZ and zoom control even by third party IP camera viewer, Annke is practically rendered useless. Reolink E1 Zoom, on the other hand, has an excellent windows viewer which allows PTZ and zooming and is also supported by third party software. To tell the truth, Annke does work fine with the old and outdated ActiveX controls of Internet Explorer or of Edge in Internet Explorer compatibility mode. But, it is constantly blocked due to security issues and thus quite impractical. Moreover, Annke does not allow to change any of the settings in the camera's web interface. @@lordlordson5041
FPS can go up to 20, my highest was 16fps and it supports H.265. I agree it would be nice with vehicle detection as well but for tracking cars this camera would not be fast enough.
@@Securitybros Good to know about the FPS but that's still kind of slow. I bought a 20X Hikvision compatible camera on AliExpress over two years ago for the same price that has better specs. The AI vehicle detection is not so much for tracking as it is for notifications. Many people like myself have driveways that we monitor.
After two months with this camera , motion detection doesn’t work . Also doesn’t pick up cars as part of motion detection ,human tracking is good and image quality is extremely good , I have Zosi camera with ai car people tracking which is better but image quality isn’t great
A warning, don’t buy this camera, none of the functions work properly and the push notifications stopped working on mine after 9 months so I don’t know when anyone approaches the house

Hi, Dalton. The camera will still record without WiFi signal on the SD card. Maybe have a look at Reolink systems, they have some nice cameras.

The specs say it has 20x optical plus 16x digital zoom. But I notice you stopped at 20x zoom. Was this by choice or is 20x all it's allowing?

If you log in and check your routers device list you should find it there.

Nice picture but too many negatives. No 16:9 format, 15FPS is too slow, no H.265 (hard to believe that one), no mention of AI vehicle detection.
